This was an AWESOME experience!!! Cool electronics for so cheap that you can take them apart and change stuff like the speakers in the headphones, etc... They even had candy!!!

While staying in Slidell LA since hurricane Ida, I must say that I found some great deals in their Slidell LA location.

Cool selection of items from household to beauty products. Theres even a pet section. Clothes and shoes as well!

Some things seem higher priced than they should be. Can get elsewhere cheaper. Other things are great priced.

They make you check yourself out now. Youre cashiering without getting paid, and theyve eliminated jobs for young people. Also, the whole idea was that everything was $5 or below. That is no longer true. Its a lie

They had a lot of really cool stuff for being $5 or less

The store was clean and well stocked, but not well staffed. There were two very young men working who had zero interest in the customers. My 5 year old grandson picked up a pack of gumballs that was open, and they spilled on the floor. A young man who worked there came down the aisle and, when I told him, he said Ummm, okay., grabbed a bag of candy for himself, and took off. We were at the self check, which is all that is available, and I had two items that wouldnt scan. I pressed the help button, which makes an announcement that someone is coming. Another young man, employee, was within 12 feet of me, but kept his back to me the entire time. I just paid for my things and left. One day they will realize that without customers, they have no job.

I am not from this area, but I enjoyed browsing the selection of items. They had things that our local Five Below didnt have. Things were neat and orderly. Items were clearly marked with prices.

Good addition to the Town Center. I am old school I love brick and mortar stores. As far as Five Below, great prices on items if you have a smaller budget. Clean stores, safe environment. Nice staff.

I. Friggin. LOVE. This. Place.Its price range is similsrvto Family Dollar/ Dollar General. But the merch is WAAAAY trendier. Lots of super cute accesories for wearing or decorating kids room. Good selection of art and stationary. Great selection of candy and snacks.Little to no kitchenish stuff. But wtorage items are hella And the makeup and toiletries are fun and kid friendly, but not high quality, or name brand overstock deals like you find occasionally at Dollar Tree.Highly recommend as a place to let kids shop for family for holidays. Lots of stuff thats not garbage but fits tight budget. Definately good place to fill easter baskets or stockings at without heing boring.Store usually fairly well maintained, but lots of customers shoving merch in wrong place so be cognizant of prices.

First of all; doesnt the name 5below mean that the prices are all below 5 dollars? Because it doesnt mean that anymore. And, how are you going to raise all the prices AND make me check myself out? How many kids were put out of a job because of that?

When I am in Slidell, LA this is one of my stops. Unfortunately there is no location in New Orleans East. If you want to get some fun things or items that are not very expensive then this is your place. If you have a sweet tooth and are looking for some Old School candy this is your destination. Be ready for a little messiness and a lot of conversation around you. I have fun shopping and browsing.

Highly unique and original store. Almost everything on display is $5.00 except for the candy and toddler item selection near checkout. Beside the last minute Christmas shoppers like myself, it was a fairly pleasant place to shop.

They have tons of knick knack items, but not much staff. The only person I saw working was one woman at the cashiers station. And they recently switched to self-checkout. I guess it gets you out faster. Great place for stocking stuffers.

Its closed right now. Lol Although, when we were there it was messy but they staff was working very hard to restock and pick up everybodys mess..by the time we checked out, EVERYTHING WAS STOCKED FULL! SUper nice employees this evening especially for how busy they were. Very impressed!

Good place to find good stocking stuffers for everyone.

I love to go to this area but this particular location the stuff was everywhere and thrown all over the place. And its also a pretty small one. Ive been to bigger 5 Belows.

They have so many great items such as clothing, home decor, educational books and games cell phone chargers, nice items for the summer, candy from the 80s, and so much more. An added benefit is that it all $5.00 and below. The employees were very helpful in showing me where to locate certain items.

They changed from the traditional cashier to have less person to person contact due to the epidemic. I really like that.

Great store I mean everything in there is $5 or below. The quality equals the price in some cases better. They sell a little bit of everything. And it all works. I bought a shower speaker and it still works. That been over a year ago. Great store

Very busy, it is the holiday season. Great place for stocking stuffers. Be prepared to spend a few minutes looking for what you want not all shoppers put items back in correct place.

Interesting take on a dollar store..a good bit going on with a wide variety of things.

I love to come here with the family after dinner and leave with bags of goodies. I especially love to hunt down Star Wars figures here that were pulled from big box store shelves years ago. 5 Below has saved my hobby on many of occasions!

Always a good place to bring my children. They and I can all find something we want to get and its inexpensive. Great for single parents on a budget! Also great for Christmas or birthday gifts for youngsters.

It was a interesting place to go walk around and look at stuff. Very cheap quality stuff (think wish com level of quality) and dont get started on the candy! Some of it is ok priced, but other candy is way over priced.

I wasnt in this store for very long but I did find it a little confusing. I had a difficult time finding out the pricing. Im going to have to tell you I felt as though I was in a warehouse filled with all kinds of merchandise, sort of like a kid in a candy store not knowing what to choose because I didnt know what to look at first.

Great store, they have a lot of great last minute gifts if you may have forgotten someones birthday for a Holiday! I gave it a 4 start because you can some of the things they carry from the Dollar Tree.

Some of their prices are more expensive than Id like to pay for certain items...but then again, they have some really good deals on other items. You just have to pick and choose what you think the deal of the day is and run with it.

Great selection for $5 and under. I was able to purchase many items for my home that would otherwise be triple the price.
