I had originally set the appointment for Saturday morning of the 10/23/2021. When I got to the dealership that morning, I was told that they could not get to my vehicle today. I asked why didnt someone call me and let me know that they would not be able to get my car that day and reschedule my appointment. I was very upset. To me, that is very bad business. Tuesday, that I came back went real good. The service was fine. I did not have any problems on the following Tuesday after the Saturday failed. Saturday was not good.

This is definitely a no pressure car dealership. I have always dreaded the car buying experience because of the high pressure that most dealerships imply. Matt and Bruce were wonderful! Bruce worked out our deal and Matt gave us a very thorough orientation to our brand new 2022 Encore GX. We highly recommend Legacy Buick in Slidell. We drove our new car home the same day!

The tires took several days to arrive.After tires weer installed, a day or so later received a message from OnStar that the front driver side tire was loosing air.Several calls were made to the service department and I emailed Derek at the service department. No response!Very poor service!

When my truck had a problem in the midst of the chaos from this hurricane, Legacy was able to understand the problem and fit me into their busy lineup of vehicles, and get the problem fixed without any hassle. I felt the service advisor Derrick treated me vey well. And we all enjoyed immensely soaking up the air conditioning in the waiting area!

Took hours for a scheduled oil change and inspection to be completed. There’s no way the inspection was done because the pressure in my tires was still low. Very shameful considering I was leaving for a 14 hour trip on the same day. I won’t be coming back to this location nor will I recommend it to anyone.

Purchasing a home or a new car can understandable be very stressful events. I must say that my recent experience at Legacy was however quit pleasant. The new car sales manager was the first person to greet us, welcoming my wife and I to the dealership and offering his assistance as he introduced us to our assigned sales person. Haven already decided on a Buick Enclave eliminated much of the decisions usually associated with negotiating a deal. With the sales paperwork complete we met with the loan officer where we finalized our purchase. During our dealings with both the salesmen and the financial officer, I never felt pressured or rushed. Prior to leaving the dealership my wife was given a short presentation of the details of her new car. As we started to leave we had one more employee that we were ask to meet, our assigned service manager. He would be our contact for any mechanical problems or service. Our new freshly washed and detailed White Buick Enclave awaited our exit for an enjoyable ride home. Thank you to all that helped with our new car purchase.

First and last visit! 9:00am appointment, took over 2.5 hrs for oil change, tire rotation, and recall for app. When finished, the aftermarket navigation program app I had installed (paid $500 for), had been removed. I asked the service advisor about it. She took my truck back to the techs and explained the situation. She returned and told me they have no idea what happened and they never heard of that aftermarket program before. I was told that I needed to contact the company I bought the aftermarket program from and see if they could help me. There was nothing Legacy could do. No apology, no empathy and they were the one who removed it.

The first item on the list of things to be fixed was not fixed. Although that is disappointing, I called Derek and he told me to bring it right back and they will look into it. If it gets fixed in a timely manner, 5 stars for sure. Derek was super nice and informative, just need to make sure the mechanics are checking their own work.

They had my vehicle for a busted window and damaged trim for almost 8 weeks. It was next to impossible to get them to answer the phone. I left several messages and rarely got a call back. I got the run around when they did call. When I tried to pick up the vehicle to take it elsewhere I was told that I would have to pay for the repairs that they had made to the trim already. When I went to inspect the vehicle, no work had been done at all, so that was a lie. I was told that it was being stored inside from day 1. That was also a lie as it was sitting outside in back every time I drove by to check on it. They didnt have a tracking number for the window so they could never tell me when it would be in. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE, HORRIBLE COMMUNICATION, HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Upon pick up of the vehicle I was told that the motor on the window was going out, but have NEVER had any issues rolling it up or down prior to it being there. I got it back on 9/8. Today, 9/10, I opened the door in which the window was repaired and not it will NOT close!!! The latch that keeps it shut is loose and not working properly!!!

So, dealer fees included $499 to put some sort of epoxy coating on a new car because of the Chalmette refinery pollution as well as a charge of $199 for theft protection window etching nonsense. I asked not to include those services but was told that it wasnt an option?!? Carlos told that all of the dealers do it and to feel free to ask around. I did just that! I highly recommend that you go see Duck at Crown Buick in Metairie and use that $700 in hidden dealer fees to go towards a new car. Thanks, Carlos for saving me $$$!

Awful customer service. Kept my truck for 2 and half days just for oil change and a sensor reset. Never answered my calls or called me back when I left voicemails. Second time I have dealt with Mitch and do not want him dealing with my truck again. I bought an expensive truck and expected AT LEAST some human decency but got nothing. I had no idea what was happening with the truck because I never received a phone call about what was going on until very last minute and I got the run around. I understand warranty work, but I’m still a customer so don’t I deserve to be treated like one?

Had a scheduled appointment at 8:00 AM and waited until 8:45 in line for service writer. Got a call at 10:30 that my vehicle was ready for pick-up. Truck had DPF Fluid spilled all down the side. I asked about getting it washed but was told the car wash wasn’t open. Service writer said I could come back during the week if I wanted it done. The appointment was for an oil change and tire rotation but when reviewing the receipt it doesn’t show a tire rotation was done. I’m not sure if they did it or not. I will have to return to the dealership on another day to find out. Technicians seemed rushed and performing sloppy work. The person in front of me in line was returning for an oil leak because the technician didn’t clean up well and it was dripping off the under carriage. Service writer was nice, techs seemed in a rush to sum it up. I am short on time so I don’t have time to follow up if things get done properly. I expected better work from a dealership I spent $60,000 on a vehicle from.

Buying the vehicle was not the problem. I had my second service on my vehicle and arrived before my scheduled time to get a oil change and rotate tires. After telling me that if he would put me in a rental my car he would be calling me before I left the dealership. So I waited and my vehicle did not move from 1000 till 1200, 2 hours after my scheduled appointment, for a 15 minute service. The worst part was the same person that told me I didnt need a loaner said nothing to me about why it took so long. Anything would have been nice.

I had an 11:00 appointment to have maintenance on my car. Two and a half hours later they came in and told me my car was ready. My car was parked out a very long time in the parking lot. Didnt see the license plate to know that was my car. Someone should have come in to tell me it was finished. Having an appointment didnt mean anything. I could have just brought it in because they took it after 3 cars ahead of me not at 11:00.

Bad experience at Legacy Buick GMC that we wont forget about! We brought our 2019 Acadia in for its routine service and also for them to inspect an odd noise coming from the engine. After having the car for a week they did not find any issues. My main problem with the service department is that they did not contact us at all during that week to report or let us know what was being done. I had to call them for updates and each time it was a different excuse on why they hadnt diagnosed the vehicle. A little customer service and a phone call would have went a long way in this case. In the future we will be bringing our car to a different GMC dealership for service and for any new purchases.

The service portion of the experience was great. However, the receptionist/cashier in the service area was very rude and unwelcoming. Unfortunately we cannot remember her name. Upon entering we asked her which service write Mitch was as we have never met him. She replied very rudely Go to the window where Mitch is. This would have been no problem had we known what Mitch looked like. She also let us stand there for about 5-10 min when we came in to pick up our vehicle without even acknowledging us. Mitch was great but the receptionist was terrible and based off that experience we will think twice about using Legacy as our primary dealership for our vehicle.

I came to get a oil change and ac fixed. The system should have been at least looked! I was told ac couldnt be looked at because it was cold. It gets hot in December. If I can spend 3 hours of my time and money on a truck that I have had for less than 3 months. I expected more!

A bunch of D-bags for salesmen who wouldn’t check a truck for balance and alignment because it vibrated on test drive lol. Amazing and sad at the same time. Ended up at Ford down the street with a complete different experience

Can I give ZERO stars?I drove 2.5 hours to purchase a Yukon that I saw online. I spoke with a sales manager and made a deal on my truck for trade in. We pull up on Saturday and meet the guy I spoke with, are shown the Yukon buy another guy and then will deal the numbers with a different guy...I didnt like that, I want to deal with one person. We were rudely interrupted by someone, who turned out to be the sales guy, while looking at it.The Yukon we wanted to purchase was a demo with 3k miles. That was never mentioned over the phone. We agree on a different one, more expensive, and go for a drive. We get back and sit down with 3rd guy.He brings in the offer and the trade is $6,000 lower than what I was told. He tries to explain and I cut him off and he immediately got visibly mad. It went down hill from there. He went and met with the guy that I spoke with and they were arguing over the trade amount. So he comes back $1000 lower than what I was told over the phone, I understand you have to see it/appraise it but my truck was a 2017 with 19k miles in perfect shape. I offer to split the difference at $500 and he got more irritated, starting telling me they are already losing money and blah, blah, blah. ( so you run this big dealership and pay all these people by losing money? what about the back end money? but whatever). So he storms off to his manager again for 15-20 minutes. He comes back and says that are all in on this number, which is higher than what we expected after they gave us an out the door number without a trade and with the trade offer it is higher even adding $1000 negative equity.So I stand up, say thanks, ask for my keys and leave.I drive 3 doors down to the Chevy dealer, purchase a silver Tahoe with more features, less hassle and even got MORE for my trade in and a better deal on the Tahoe.I cant thank Legacy enough for being a bunch of JERKS!I LOVE my new Tahoe!

I put in the request to get my tires balance & aligned never happen nor did I get the quote & What Kinda package is Name the (performance package Alinenment ) AKA on paper work & does not include aliment ?? I asked for in the via app & perosn specify never got a quote never got it in my service they just need to learn how to read there paper work & ask the customers questions I ask for a quote via message app before turning in my car the night before & I had a 8 am appointment in was out by 12s that slow 4 + hrs for a alignment without balance and rotation in a recall 4 1/2 hrs & I was the the first person there Thats Just Slow ! Plain & Simple! I use to be a Tech I could pump put my vehicles out at less 1 or 2 hrs some time mins depending on the service requirements but Alinenment is easy & the recall was simple too 4 + hours Naaa ... slow e service department with slow sales rep etc... Now I know why that Dealer Ship is Slow & Not Run Right Period Top to Bottom( Rainbow North Shore ) is the Best Dealer Ship & they have on the Northshore ( Legacies GMC gives GMC a BAD Name & Rep it has sorry service department is old waiting room sucks not clean you have have staff (Not ) Wearing Masks) about to report the dealrs ship the CDC Task Force.
