The employees at Sally’s are more than just cashiers. They are connoisseurs of the hair styling trade and I appreciate the advice they give me every time I go in. At one point in the earlier years of my wife and I’s marriage, I considered enrolling in Paul Mitchell’s school of hair fashion. I consider Sally’s fashionistas as equally if not more knowledgeable in today’s hair fashion market.Update: I have been bleaching, coloring and styling my wife’s hair for over 10 years. Sally’s is awesome because they carry the salon grade products I can use to take my wife’s hair from brown to Platinum. The salon will tell you, “We can’t do that here, the bleach will fry off too much hair.” I don’t put the bleach anywhere near the tips of her hair, and it always turns out nice and platinum, white and silver! We always choose Sally’s for my wife’s hair needs and she’s going back to platinum! We go to Sally’s probably once every two months. My wife has a Sally’s benefits card and she always uses it for discounts! The lady that helped us here with the bleach and developer, Friday August 16, 2018, was THE NICEST & THE MOST HELPFUL Sally’s employee that has helped us! She recommended the right volume of developer and the right manufacture!! She took us to the register And we saved $15 on our purchase, and only spent $33 for everything! Everything will be listed in the pictures below, mostly I on products, but if you are a dark to light brown and considering stripping your hair and going platinum or almost silver, these are the products that were recommended to us by the employee, and again I cannot emphasize how helpful the lady was, I wish I could remember her name but she was a beautiful African-American lady with shoulder length black hair and a grey and white striped blouse! Whatever your name is Ms. ____________, thank you for being so courteous and helpful during our visit!!Also, for those of you who are platinum and are looking for a good product to keep your hair vibrant and as platinum as possible, Shimmer Lights shampoo and conditioner by Revlon (comes in a purple bottle) works wonders!-Bobby & Karissa Opp
It was a very horrible experience as a new stylist to the area to go in and be treated with such disrespect and just a feeling of being not wanted they have lost a lot of money from me and my clients because theres no SalonCentric or CosmoProf around here I will be going to Covington to their store Sallys is not a place I will ever go again because of the people are rude in very all about them if . if you dont look like them walking through the door you dont get treated with respect.
Kristen helped my daughter and me during our visit. She was very happy to help us and was knowledgeable about the products being sold and where everything was in the store. I couldnt help but notice that she was more than happy to assist everyone there. She made our visit very nice.
Long story. I went into this Sallys behind an elderly lady and we passed a woman waiting outside. I didnt know what she was waiting for. No one was outside but her and no one told us anything. They just watched us both walk in and then a little bit later this manager says I know those two saw her standing there. That lady was waiting for five minutes, in the nastiest tone and loud enough for me to hear while looking directly at me. I said Im sorry. I didnt know, and walked out. There is a five person limit, and I will admit there is a sign in the window. However, the sign was the size of a sheet of loose leaf paper and the lady standing outside was standing directly in front of it. Im not sure how me or the lady that walked in in front of me were supposed to know. I respect guidelines. I literally had my mask on, so obviously, I wouldnt just disregard policy. I would have appreciated for this grown woman to not be passive aggressive towards me and for someone to respectfully inform us. The store was full of workers when I went in and not one of them thought to stand outside and monitor the capacity like EVERY OTHER STORE with a limit. I understand that it is hot, so I dont fault them for that, but dont fault your customers for not realizing. Try getting a bigger sign or learning how to talk to people. And I later found out that my sister has had problems with this same lady on more than one occasion and has talked to workers at other locations who are always hearing bad things about this Sallys. Also if you have textured hair their selection is usually scarce so youre really not missing much. I rarely go in there and I really have no reason to support this business now after such bad customer service. I work in retail myself and I have dealt with actual rude customers, so I never understand employees being impolite to those who are not.
The store was clean and well lit, Sariah was extremely knowledgeable and her customer service was above and beyond.
This store is definitely customer ready!
Helpful sales girl. Rude manager.
Rude, disrespectful. Ignorant to the point of dangerous when giving advice on how to chemically treat hair. Basic no knowledge of products in store. Rather stand around and gossip with co-workers and apparent friends.
Staff are friendly and quickly showed me what I was looking for. I was in and out in minutes with their help.
Always very nice very helpful and always have what I need in stock
The people here shouldnt be giving advice.. some of them may have done their research but definitely do your own before relying on what they tell you to buy.
I had a good experience, I found what I needed.
Manager Sonia is very rude and pushy on sales. Didnt ask questions. Was just pushing.
