Jude at safelite was great! I arrived right at my scheduled appointment time and they had me pull directly into a booth and promptly started prepping my windshield. They showed me to the waiting area and were very friendly, accommodating and professional. Jude, the technician that installed my windshield was extremely outgoing, knowledgeable, and patient with my 20 questions while he worked on my truck. Jude seems to know his job like that back of his hand, and is very skilled at his craft! Safelite is lucky to have a technician like Jude on the team! I Will be recommending others to use safelite, specifically because of Jude and the team at Safelite!

Called a few times and cannot get an answer. Went to the shop in Slidell and was told they dont have anyone to answer the 800 number. Poor business excuse when people are in need of glass replacement. Clear View Glass was on the spot with quick service and a fine job done.

Scheduled my windshield replacement and expected everything to go smoothly.. went to pickup my vehicle the next day and the replacement glass had a crack in it! The manager claims he didnt see it and wasnt told about an issue with the install.. now ive had to wait another 3 weeks for the replacement to be replaced!!! This place is a mess.

I had a rental car while traveling to Slidell a rock hit the windshield. I went to Safelite and the gentleman was a great help he suggested to me what to do. I did got my window done the service was quick with a great job done.

Get your approval from insurance prior to going and if its minor chips theyll get you in and out quickly. Great service!

Cant speak for all safelite locations... however, if you are in slidell Louisiana I DO NOT recommend this business to anyone! The guy that came to my house didnt know how to properly put a windshield in! He said that my truck was 20 years old and that was his reason for not replacing my windshield... so I simply went to a local glass company like I should have done to begin with!!!!!

Changed windshield out at my house, tech was efficient, top notch work and even vacuumed out my car. Great service all around.

The worst service Ive ever experienced. All the manager did was complain to me that corporate over book them for the day. I was told my vehicle would be vacuumed but when I returned home after driving 30 miles I found over a pound of glass under my seats (see attached). And the seat had to be removed to access the window motor. I spent an hour removing glass that could have easily been vacuumed once the seat was removed. I would NOT recommend your company.

Excellent service! I am amazed at the service we received here! A vehicle kicked up a rock and chipped our windshield. I immediately reported a claim with Geico and they made an appointment right away for a repair before the crack spread. My appointment was for 4:30. They took us right away. While the windshield was being repaired, the service guy washed all the windows inside and out. He vacuumed the car. You cant even see where the crack was in the first place! My husband and I only had our car for a month, so we were disappointed that this happened, but you cant tell where it was! Im so grateful! Excellent service!!! Dont do business here unless you like to get ripped off! I was quoted over 100 bucks to repair a chip.. support your local glass shops and save! I got my chip repaired for 25 bucks right down the street at Richards Auto Glass.

Great professional service on a Saturday. Had an 8 o’clock appointment, and was back in my car by 8:44. I used my insurance, but thought the price before my deductible was a tad high.

I had a chip repair last year using Safelite. I found out AAA auto insurance did not cover the cost so I had to pay all cost. It was a very small chip repair. The bill was close to $120. This was far more than anyone else charges. I am having two chips repaired tomorrow for $40. I also checked around and all other places were much lower. Shame on Safelite for overcharging for such a very minor repair and not being competitive.

Lance was wonderful, very friendly! Didn’t take long to replace my windshield but you can tell he didn’t rush either. Took his time and it looks amazing. He even vacuumed my car and must have sprayed some air freshener as it smelled nice and clean when I got in my car :)!

David with Safelite did and excellent job and really went above and beyond working on my minivan. He also showed some skills when he helped get my rubber flaps to stay on the glass when Ive seen other techs unable to do so in the past.

Im not a review writer though Ive said I would start for about 5 years now. My experience was straight forward they were very helpful. They handled the insurance claim and everything. I just handed over my ID and Insurance card and 25 minutes later my windshield was fixed.

Replaced my winshield in a little over an hour. I scheduled my appointment online and was able to use a $20 coupon. I arrived about 10 minutes early and they started on time. Front desk employes and install techs were pleasant and friendly.

I was very unhappy with my experience. First tech came out and replaced the passenger door glass. Afterward we realized the window would not go up or down. Second tech came out to fix and broke the cable on my window regulator. He then told me they dont work on window regulators and I would have to find someone else to fix, even though he broke it! Because the cable was broken the glass would not stay up in the closed position, leaving my car unsecured. It rained 3 out of the next 5 days and I had to have plastic covering the window, which is unsafe and I worried every night my car would get stolen. I tried several times to call and resolve my dissatisfaction, but with the manager on vacation over the whole two weeks this occurred, no one really cared or did anything. I will NEVER use safelite again.
