Great order experience for our decking materials and were told it would take 6 to 8 weeks and they would call us when in. 9 1/2 weeks now and I called today to find out our order is in. She is not sure how long it has been in. With winter approaching it would sure have been nice to have the flooring for our deck. So if you are waiting for an order from the Sioux Falls Home Depot make sure you call occasionally to check on it! I wish I would have known this earlier.

Went in to buy a step ladder. They have a good selection and the prices are pretty good.Nobody asked if they could help me and at 67 yrs old getting the ladder off the shelf and carrying it to pay and then out to my truck was a chore. There was nobody around ti even ask for assistance 🤨

We went in search of replacement electrical outlets. We were so lucky to have Tim ask if he could assist. He helped us locate what we needed on the shelf, and, even better, reminded us that we needed new outlet covers. That saved another trip. I also appreciate being heard and respected by him. What a treasure he is to that store!

Do not ever go to The Home Depot (2523 S Louise Ave, Sioux Falls, SD). We purchased our blinds there the beginning of May for ten of our windows. They were installed incorrectly. Three days after installing them the blinds in out dining room came crashing down. Nicking our wall and all of of wood work on the window sill. I called the installer and he told me that is what you get when you buy cheap blinds. We bought Balli, which is one of the top rated blinds for cellular shade. I have had to call multiples times, Home Depot never reaching out to me. After almost three months I called again, but this time Customer Service. They transferred me back to the store and while the CS agent was trying to explain what was going on, the person that answered the phone interrupted her and placed us on hold. Becky answered, I explained to her what happened and she admitted to dropping the ball and that she would make it right. I also have discovered that the blinds downstairs were installed incorrectly and the blackout blinds in our daughters room were measured incorrectly (by the installer) and let a lot of light through. I now have to pay to have them reinstalled properly, the holes patched and painted from where they previously installed them, my wall fixed and my wood work fixed. Then when I was explaining to Becky what I wanted she kept interrupting me. Do NOT ever buy blinds from them. PS the installer is not a Home Depot employee and lives in Lincoln, NE. They did not inform us of this at the store.

Home Depot is great. Good quality tools, Milwaukee, Dewalt, all the good ones. They have Klein hand tools but you have to get them from the electrical department. They are not with all the other tools which took me a long time to find out. Military discount is an awesome deal they offer too. Seems sometimes like maybe theyre a little short-staffed but their employees are really helpful and knowledgeable.

Home Depot is a great store and had the best price I could find on a refrigerator for my hangar. I purchased the refrigerator on the phone and was told to go to Customer Service and then pick it up at the Pro Build counter. I was also told it would be waiting for me when I arrived. I went to Customer Service and the gentleman seemed unsure of what to do so I explained to him what I was told. He asked me to go to the Pro Build counter. There I had the displeasure of speaking with Christine. My first impression was rude and lazy all rolled into one. The refrigerator wasnt there as promised and she seemed annoyed to make a call and inquire where it was. Another employee at Pro Build asked if she could help me while I was waiting and I said I was waiting on a refrigerator that was supposed to be here when I arrived. The lovely Christine then said ITS NOT HERE, GET OVER IT . I said nice customer service and looked for her name. Christine notices and then said my name is Christine and then sat down in a chair. The rest of the employees looked in shock at her outburst. I wish Christine was my employee so I could fire her today. However, its a nice refrigerator

Excellent, helpful staff. Easy returns if you need a slightly different product. Online inventory isn’t always accurate, but given the scope of their store and product lines, I think it is understandable and I’m sure they work toward making inventory more accurate. Good people.

Home Depot has great customer service always. They have a new feature for those who use their online web app for purchases.... On line order pickup lockers. You shop the app the store sends pickers to shop for the online orders and store the items in the lockers for the customer to pick up at there convenience. However, you must pick your items up during store hours of operation as the online lockers are inside the store. Great new service for contactless delivery. Not as good as curbside but how long can the smaller stores afford keep this level of service where it becomes to costly and all the profits are lost. Not to mention all those delivery drivers and expense incurred delivering to your doorstep? Seems kinds wasteful and lazy if you dont need the extra service than do it yourself. Well done Home Depot, I lovev your store and your friendly staff. Great product and prices BTW !!!

Worst customer service ever!! Rude employees! The lady at self checkout is rude everytime we come in she scans our stuff if she wanted to be a cashier then she should have applied for one I go to self checkout for a faster checkout. The lady moves so slow when grabbing an item to scan and she only does this to us it seems and this lady is horrible very rude while doing so

Easy place to get in and get out. Its right off the interstate. When you come off the interstate make a right on shirley and come around to the back of the building. The docks will be on the left hand side. Receiving hours are from 8am to 5 PM. Overnight parking is allowed in parking lot.

I get it, its sioux falls south dakota and the population of diversity is low, but HD is a national company and I expected better service than this.Josh( large man 300+ lbs) at HD Sioux Falls didnt let hide his personal opinions of race go unnoticed.Moves his cart infront of mine, completely blocking my view of what I was trying to look for, so he could offer assistance to a man next to me, literally 2 ft from me. After helping him, yells down the isle about 15 ft to another gentleman if he needed help, but never even looked at or asked if I needed assistance.Specifics of everyone involved:1st person he asked help, white guy2nd person (15ft away), white guyMy, wife, 2ft away black.I see what happened here.Management should do a better job of hiring.

Great place for a lot of hardware but if your disabled and need to use 1 of there mobile carts forget it they all need fixing and to be charged more often as many of us who have bad knees or back cant use them because they break dont and wont move at all. Not all the time it is the battery needing charged, other then that you can find almost most hardware there.

I became very upset today at 2:00pm! There were recieving carts in the middle of rows through out the store unattended three quarters empty. There were lift equipment in two rows with gates closed off and you couldnt get to some product and no employees around. There little to no employees on the floor for help. If I find this again its Menards or Fleet Farm after this. Management must really be getting bad at this location. Id be embarrassed if it were my store.

Needed a wood router and bits, silicone, a countersink set of bits, and spray adhesive. Wasnt sure where all the items were. I was offered assistance both in tools and in paint. The 2 minor issues I had were not having a battery operated router and Im not a fan of self checkout even with attendants assistance. Associates were very helpful. In and out less than 20 mins. Fair price.

Had a great stock of LED replacement bulbs for florescents.

The sheer volume of toxic insecticides and herbicides stocked at this Home Depot is insane. Its stacked to the ceiling in multiple locations and piled high in the middle of the aisles (for children to touch, of course). It smells terribly when walking by and we all know that if were smelling it, it means were inhaling small particles of the substance. Im surprised that Home Depot would be so careless with products that they surely know are toxic and dangerous.

Did an online order, the order got split up. One of the items was at the store, because purchase order was not attached, there was confusion. I appreciated that the customer service desk explained the situation, admitted the fault was on their side and offered an apology.

As always, clean and well-organized, though not as well stocked as others. While we didn’t find what we were looking for we got help when needed, which is our experience at Home Depot more than Lowe’s or Mennards.

I got all of my patio items this year here. I love the curbside pick up. Im a single older lady and needed that assistance to load it into my car. The zero gravity lawn chair is so comfortable. They also put my grill together for free. I love this store

Had a very poor experience with ordering furniture hardware. For some reason order was cancelled the first time while I waited for delivery. Reordered and again waited. And waited. Was told, after injuring, that card was bad. Card was not bad and never has been. I’m very disappointed and now 2 weeks behind in finishing project.

Our Home Depot has some stellar customer service. Its not often that you come across good customer service these days, especially in big box stores, but they are awesome. 10/10 would recommend. 👍🏻👍🏻

I went into Home Depot today to purchase a new fridge due to our current fridge going out. There was a floor model with a large scratch on it. On the tag it stated it was 10% off for scratch and dent. I looked online, and the product was listed for the same price as the scratch and dent model. I asked the sales representative for additional off as they were asking for the same price as a new in box model.The individual contacted the manager on duty, who stated she would only give an additional $100 off. This product was $2800. That is not the standard 10% off for a scratch and dent item. The employee would not contact the manager again, and suggested for us to “come back when she was in a better mood”.Terrible experience. Will not return to Home Depot.

Worst customer service. No one around to help--on a Saturday--to find staircase runners. When I did find them, they hidden behind equipment that had been left out. Then, I wanted to purchase lumber that was listed on-line as being available, but was told it was not. Then was informed that the website doesnt match what is actually in-store (which is less than helpful). THEN I purchased different lumber, that the website said they were out of, but the person at the checkout assured me was in stock. When I pulled up to load, they were actually out of stock.

Not home depot. Just is this the guy..Told me I would be switching to another department do to hours. I asked what department and she got snippy. Than I spoke with Becky and she said that it is normal on how she talks at people.. really not a place I want to work at... No Thanks if they dont respect you now they wont when you start..

I had a little project to figure out. Basically build a small ramp to drive up on so that I could fit a low profile jack underneath my car to get the to the jack point to put my car on jack stands. Keith in materials helped me out a bunch in figuring out an economical solution. I really appreciated his help: 5+ star experience.

Since owning a home I have developed strong feelings towards the different home improvement stores in Sioux Falls. I pretty much only shop at Home Depot unless I buy online. Everyone here has been so helpful, online orders are super easy to pick up, and their return policy is great even on cans of paint. Ive dealt with almost every department here and have never felt patronised or dumb even though I usually dont know what Im talking about.

Quick curbside service

We ordered on July 25th with the expectation of our items being delivered Sept 1st. My spouse, stepdad and myself took a week off from work (the week of Sept 1st) so we could put the deck together. Later the delivery date changed. We therefor had to change our vacation dates. Then again, it changed. Again, we moved our vacation dates. As far as I knew, the supplies were supposed to be delivered on September 22nd as that was the FINAL expected delivery date that was sent to me via email. So after our delivery date being pushed back 3 additional weeks, we still were fine with having to change our vacation time with work. On Sept 22nd (the week we took time off from work & our expected delivery date) I called to find out the ETA for the delivery only to be told they couldnt track it and would call me back. I did NOT get a call back. A few days later I called again. Told the (female) rep what had happened with the previous call. She then told me she would get the details and would call me back. Keep in mind, this is an order of about 15K in supplies. This rep never called me back. More time passed and I called again. They found my order and mentioned it must have came in earlier in the week. The (male) rep said he had me on his list to call later that day. Maybe he planned to, maybe he didnt. I just know that this was almost 2 weeks later before I had even heard anything more about where my order was. It should have been delivered on the 22nd and I didnt get any kind of update until Oct 1st. The last (male) rep that I spoke with couldnt fit my delivery in on the following weekend which meant we would have to wait until the 10th before it would be delivered. We needed it to be delivered on the weekend as we had ALREADY used our vacation time for the week of Sept 22nd when we SHOULD have had our supplies delivered. Overall, were unsatisfied with this experience with HD. We just bought our house in July and plan to do many remodels throughout it but will definitely choose a different home improvement store next time!

Home Depot is always my first stop - I usually dont leave reviews, and I forgot to catch her name, but whoever you have running the return desk(March 15th) is AMAZING!!! Always friendly, and on a few separate times Ive seen folks act out against her and shes always remained calm and explained things to the customer...she seems to put up with a lot of grief and handles it professionally. Im appalled that she has to be the punching bag for folks around here, but I honestly cant say enough wonderful things about her!
