My stepfather has purchased 5 cars here for our whole family through Mohammad. Each one is lovely. We recently just financed my car, a Ford Fiesta (2017). It’s wonderful! Great condition, minor issue with connecting my phone but the manager John was more than willing to take care of it. These are honest people, great cars, wonderful customer service. Thank you!

Very positive buying experience. I went to Simi Valley Ford b/c they had a used truck I was interested in. Colton was the salesperson who I dealt with. He was very knowledgeable about the truck I was looking at (an F150). I felt that he went above and beyond to answer any questions I had, even about the old T-Bird on the showroom floor. The other sales team member and manager (Chris and Henry) were also very friendly. The negotiation process went as to be expected, but at no time did I feel over pressured or belittled. I had a very pleasant buying experience and I left with the truck I wanted, a deal I could live with and a high opinion of Simi Valley Ford. Thank you all for exhibiting knowledge of your product (Im a mechanical engineer and cant appreciate that more) and courteous professionalism. I get the feeling you all like your jobs b/c it shows in how you treated me as a customer. Also, Im super stoked on my new, used truck. Its awesome! Thank you.

I would love to say that I had an all around great experience. So let me start with Sales:Tatyana was fantastic. I originally went in to test drive a used car. When they tried to low ball me on my trade in, I mentioned I would sell it on my own and come back. When I did sell it, the car I was interested in was no longer available. No problem, I will just keep looking. I believe in keeping my shopping local to support our community during Covid-19 times. Ultimately, I did test drive another slightly used car, and agreed to purchase it. I test drove it, took it for a spin to make sure my kids fit. The transaction was easy. No fuss. I bought this car on July 1st, 2021. Drove it home and parked it for the next 5 days while we vacationed. Its a gem.Service: 3 weeks later, I go out to start my 2018 (40K miles) and all the warning lights come on. Its 745 and I have to be at work in 15 minutes. So I close the door, lock it up and take another car to work. I then text the lovely salesperson I had dealt with and tell her. She tells me she cant help me. Excuse me, I have not even driven this car for more than 20 days. I didnt purchase the extended warranty, the car is practically brand new. She says her hands are tied. When I got home, my neighbor helped me determine it was a completely dead/corroded battery.Thankfully I was able to just replace the battery and go about my life. Imagine had it been something more significant? I didnt even have my plates yet. Will I shop there again? No. Am I looking for another car in my family, yes, but I will not do service with them again.

So whoever the owner is at Simi Valley Ford this is for you. I should have read the reviews before taking my car here. My experience started with a check engine light P02195 O2 sensor not switching. I changed both upstream O2 sensors and cleared the code. After a couple drives it came back. I read the Ford service procedure and testing the resistance in the electrical system is something I dont feel comfortable doing myself. I took it the Simi Valley Ford and paid the $120 diagnosis fee and they said the 2006 Mustang needed a new computer but they could not get one so the car was unrepairable. They suggested ordering a rebuilt computer from an outside company. So I did. I got one from Flagship 1. I installed the new computer and cleared the codes. After a couple drives I got the check engine light and the same code came up. Looks like a missed diagnosis (Approximately $160 for the computer). I took the car back to Simi Ford and now they say rodents chewed the wiring somewhere around the transmission. I paid over $500 for this repair. When I got the car back on my drive home the check engine light came back on. Now with code P0053, P0059, P0133, P0153, P0401, P2195, P2197, B2627, B2550, B1247, and B1084, the same code plus a whole bunch more. I took the car back and they told me it needs a new transmission harness but again obsolete by Ford and they could not fix it. I asked if a Ford master technician knew how to re-pin a connector and repair the harness, or could I get a refund for making the problem worse. I was speaking to Mark and he talked to Brian the manager. I asked Mark 2 questions1. Could they repair the wiring by splicing in new wire.2. If not 1. Can I get a refund because the problem got worse with no resolution. When he called me back he said they were not able to do that kind of repair, but he mentioned nothing about the refund.I called back and talked to Henry Ford himself, apparently he is the sales manager. I went over everything again and he said he would talk to Brian the service manager and see what they could do. I never heard back from anyone. If you cant do a refund just tell me so I can goto small claims court and get it handled that way. Stop wasting my time. Also when I picked up the car the last time I asked if they could put it on a rack and show me the wiring issue. The response from the cashier was they needed to take the transmission apart to show me. I also asked if I could talk to the technician for 3 minutes so he could explain to me the location of the rodent eaten wiring. I was told that they cannot pull him off a job to speak to me. So Im down somewhere around $800 and Ford is telling me the car is junk. I understand its a 2006 but its been a great car. No major problems and it has 204,386 miles on it. The crazy part is that the car runs and drives great now. But I cant get it smogged to do the registration. On a side not the AC is been intermittent ever since it came back. It might be a coincidence but we never had a problem with the AC until now. So whoever the owner is responding to these reviews, CALL ME and make it right by refunding at least the $500 ish on the second repair that made the problem worse, or at least explain to me how Simi Ford is okay with charging someone to make a problem worse then saying we cant fix it but still keeping the money. I went to the Ford dealer for their expertise. Waste of time and money.New UpdateIt is 7:10PM on the 15th of July, and I have not yet heard back from the service department to let me know about a refund or at least an explanation of why they charged me to make the problem worse. As promised we will let the judge decide.  See you guys on 9-1-21 at 1:30PM in division S1. Bring yo

Simi Valley Ford Service dept.- WORST SERVICE WE’VE EVER HAD. ANYWHERE!First, they never were able to reach out to us letting us know anything about our vehicle- what was wrong with it, need to order parts, when to pick up. Never. All correspondence was initiated by us AFTER they were supposed to reach out. Then, they worked on the WRONG CAR! When we pointed that out, things got worse! (I’m sure they were embarrassed, but we get it. Sh!t happens)14 days with ZERO communication for a job that they told us would take 3-4.I suggest taking your car ANYWHERE but here! My car sat in their lot for almost 3 weeks (from diagnoses to repair) You would think they would have at least hosed it off. Nope.So turned off by this experience that we won’t even buy another vehicle from them. And we’ve bought several and always had good luck! Honestly, if this is how Ford allows their service department to be run, we might be done with Ford. I love my car but not enough to be treated that way.

Note: The car was purchased new from this dealer and we still were treated poorly if that sums it up.I would highly recommend taking your business elsewhere. An appointment was made 1-2 weeks in advance for a specific problem that warranty would cover. We show up and there’s either no mechanic or no transmission guy or so we were told. A rental car was promised and no one could get a rental car. So we leave. Rescheduled a month later and the same poor service. If you take your car to be serviced here you will be lucky to have someone come out and talk to you. It’s very unlikely you actually have your car worked on.DO NOT COME TO THIS DEALERSHIP.

Simi Valley Ford has been servicing two of my cars for the past 3 years and has always done a good job. Most recently I had a major issue and needed an engine replaced. Luckily I had purchased a third party warranty when I bought the vehicle. Mark in the service department was extremely helpful in making sure the warranty company covered my full repair. If you have been through this you know this is not an easy task. Mark was relentless with them and updated me every step of the way. A big thank you to Mark and Simi Valley Ford!

So i have a 16 mustang convertible i came to Simi Valley on a business trip, all of a sudden trunk would not open. I had some important stuff that i had to get out, I went to the nearest ford dealership to see if they can open it somehow (i knew logically there should be a way to open it) mechanic took my car for 20 minutes than came back saying that there is no way they can open this trunk but they can make a $100-150 inspection and tell me what’s wrong with it. I bet it wot have been a $1000 job. How ever 2 hrs later trunk opened by it self.A month later trunk would get stuck again and wouldn’t open after a day or two(happen when the weather is+- humid)So I spent 20 min in MUSTANG FB groups and it was an easy solution, happy ford owners just told me where the latch is....Cheers to the “genius” Simi Valley ford mechanics

Ford of Simi Valley was absolutely amazing. I really cant say more positive things about Henry and his team. I knew the exact car I wanted down to the trim, White Platinum Mustang GT Limited with Manual Transmission and Performance Package, Black Interior and Technology Package. They had it on the lot brand new which was just purely meant to be. I worked with Juan the sales rep who was the best sales rep Ive ever worked with. Seriously. Hands down. After 2 hours of painless negotiating. They never pressured me or twisted my arm. I knew my price and played hardball and they pulled through with an incredible deal. Beanie worked out the financing as well through a local credit union at an incredible rate. My payments were the same as my old Kia!!All my friends that have asked where I bought it from have had glowing things to say about Simi Valley Ford, and for good reason from my experienceThey stayed clear until Midnight to get the car cleaned and into my garage, and have followed up a couple times to check on us, which showed me they genuinely care. Our next vehicle will be Ford and it will be from Simi Valley because of this transaction alone. Looking at you Ford Escape Titanium!

The second visit, aside from the regular oil change service, I pointed out the same service I want them to do but it wasnt done EVEN though I was told it was completed.Im not sure if it was simply a misunderstanding, BUT I reached out to the service agent and didnt hear back.Im giving it 1 star because at least they were freindly.

Tatyana was an excellent salesperson, taking the time to describe the nuances of the car and working with us on our schedule. She was not just focused on closing the short term sale - rather building a relationship which made the entire car buying experience pleasant, easy and fair. Shes an amazing asset for Ford dealership. I would highly recommend visiting this dealership and working with Tatyana Sizhuk if possible.

This review is for the dealer side. My step daughter went in to look at the bronco sport they had there and take it out for a test drive before deciding which suv she would get. Her and the salesperson were all set to go out when the manager came out and told her that it didnt have insurance and couldnt be driven right now. They said they would call her when it was insured. Guess what? No call ever came. My guess is since she is a young woman(25 years old) they didnt think she was serious about buying and that it was probably a waste of their time. Also, Ive never in my life ever heard of a car not being insured for a test drive. Especially for one being at a dealership. My stepdaughter, after few days of waiting to hear back, decided to get a 2021 Honda CR-V. Moral of the story, stay away from dealerships that dont take you (especially women shopping by themselves) seriously.

Although Mark, the service adviser is always professional & courteous, along with other associates. Its disappointing to specifically set an appointment for the Quick Lane at a time selected by the service adviser, arrive 30 minutes early & wait 3 hours for an oil change to be completed. Totally unacceptable in my opinion, this isnt the first time, but may have been the last. I have expressed concerns regarding need for improvement at various levels of management yet issues continue. Additionally each time vehicle is completed, various electronic presets have been charged unnecessarily, why? Sadly, Ive heard similar concerns from other neighbors, frustrating for sure.

Let me start with, we have purchased our last 4 vehicles from Ford which is roughly $160,000 in the last 8 years. I have never had issue with their service department previously. Our Transit Van was making a whistling noise and we scheduled a 10am service call. No word from our service coordinator (Carmen) until I call them around 4pm. She says she will call me back as its in with a technician now. She calls 50 min later and says they had to order parts (no worries, understandable), and it would sit there for several days. I asked if it was drivable as its one of our main cars. She says she will check and another 30 min go by...she gets back to me via text and says we can pick it up if we can be there before 5:30. Thats in 18 min....When I picked up our car 12 min later, I was nice...but I pointed out that our car has been there all day with no update and that when I called and asked she didnt know and then when she did know something, she gave me 18 min to come get it. I said this was a little unreasonable and not great communication. Her response I kind of get it and I kind of dont. I walked away because this wasnt going to go well. Brian (Service Manager) must have overheard the conversation or she said I wasnt happy, but he called when we got home. He wanted to explain to me how service departments work. I clearly explained our concern isnt the way service works or having our car in the shop all day when we had a 10am appointment, its the lack of communication and the clear I kind of get it and kind of dont attitude. We wait for parts...supposed to be here by following Tuesday. Didnt get a call. I called and asked if they were in, she didnt know and said they were inventorying them. She said she would get back to me soon. We waited until 6:30pm, no call, no text. I got ahold of Carmen and she said if we could have our car there in the morning it would be ready by Monday.Monday comes and no updates, I reply to her old text asking about an update...thats at 1:20pm. No response. I call they try to connect me...doesnt go through. Turns out Carmen is out on Monday. Fine, I call and try to get someone else I can talk to...nobody is able to connect me to anyone that can update me on my car that is supposedly going to be ready that day. Left a voicemail for Brian, no response.Tuesday, no word from Ford. I text again and 30+ min later Carmen says sorry, she was off yesterday and will check on status of our car and get back to us shortly. Never heard back. I call Brian and he said there was some confusion, Carmen asked him to update us and he forgot. This is at end of the day around 5:45pm. Brian tells me its being repaired now. I mentioned that we had driven by 30 min ago and it was still parked in the parking lot. Since they have to drop the engine to make the repair...that seemed odd. Brian said he is looking at it right now up on the rack furthest to the right. I pointed out that was an Amazon van and not our vehicle...dead silence on his side. He told me he will speak to the technician and call back by 6pm. He never called back. Wed morning, I text Brian to find out what is going on. About an hour later he replies that he will call me in a few he is trying to sort this out. He says he will confirm by 2pm that day with me. 3pm comes and goes, no word from Brian...I text back asking for an update.I wait until Monday...no word, I wait until 4pm and text again asking about an update. Now he says its been tested and should be ready Tuesday morning...not Monday when he said, now another day later.Carmen and Brian did not even have the decency to come out and apologize about the delay. Normally your service coordinator reviews the work that was done and points out any further issues. This department has some serious issues. Least of which is tracking which repairs go to which vehicles. The #1 failure is customer service and communication. You have easily lost a couple hundred thousand dollars in sales. Nice Job

On 01/13/21 I walked into the service dept and spoke with Carmen about 3 things. #1 recall on my 2020 F350 #2 estimate cost for quick lane transmission service. #3 estimate cost for diff service. It was approx 5pm when I was there, just before closing. Carmen took down my Vin # and said the recall was Vin specific and that the part would need to be ordered. Since it was close to closing time I gave my tel # and asked her to just call me with the info I needed about the 3 issues. I waited until noon on the following day 01/14/21 and she never called, so I called her. Got her on the phone and she says she had not had time to get any info on what I requested and that she would call me back. She finally called back at approx 5pm to tell me the trans service was $285.00. No mention of the recall or cost to service the diff...I have to admit I was annoyed that it took her basically 24hrs to give customer service on only 1/3 of what I needed. Sorry Carmen this is not customer service. When I voiced my dissatisfaction with her customer service, her reply was.. I will have someone else call you back. With all due respect, NO THANK YOU! I will do business elsewhere where the service advisers are much more professional. Simi Valley ford gets 1 star and that is actually more than you deserve.

When I get oil changes done (this was my visit) I always book the first appointment on Saturday and book the option that I am waiting. I arrived before 8 and was checked in right at 8. The repair order stated I was waiting and I told the service writer I was waiting. After about 45 minutes my phone rings and its the service writer explaining the pricing for new tires that I had requested when I drove in. At this time I reminded the writer that I was in the waiting room. At an hour and 15 minutes I went outside and saw my car parked. I then sat down outside the service desk for another 15 minutes. I went to the desk and asked of the status of my car which I was told let me find out. Another 15 minutes goes by and I am told my car is done. Normally an oil change takes no more than 45 minutes, but by the time I left it was just shy of 2 hours. I think the writers name was Carmen and had never seen her prior, but my first experience with her was not a good one.

You can’t get better service than at Simi Ford. They really check their systems already in advance if there was a recall and they take care of it right away. Very detailed oriented with going over the work that has been completed. Usually, when the dealer finds out that you’ve finished your last payment on the vehicle, they respectfully inquire about a new one. But, they don’t hound you when you respectfully say, “I think I am going to enjoy no payments for awhile!” They respectfully agree to your wishes. Where or what dealer can you get that type of respect? Awesome Dealer!

I didn’t hear from anyone for over 4 hours. Other than that, I would recommend this location for any service or repairs for your vehicle.

I made the mistake of removing the drop in bed liner to see a bed that looked beaten to hell.Icing on the cake was the engine had to be replaced under warranty, so keep in mind certified preowned doesnt mean a damned thing.

Typically I LOATHE car dealerships because if seems like every dealership is just trying to find a way to swindle you into spending the most amount of money they possibly can. Simi Valley Ford has managed to really turn that around for me. They are the only dealership that I actually feel like did not do that. I did my research and shopped around prior to purchasing at Simi Ford and not only did they give me the best price, the people that I worked with were honestly all just down-to-Earth, good human beings - Specifically Mohamed, Henry and Doug. The sales process from the time I arrived to the time I left ended up being quite lengthy (because I decided to purchase during the biggest sales day of the year), so I had the opportunity to chat at length on some very personal topics and really got to know what kind of people I was doing business with. These three people really surprised me when I learned that they were sincere, HONEST, accommodating, kind, friendly people. There were no tricks, no secret side conversations, no sales mind games or attempts at manipulation. They really just wanted to get me into the vehicle I wanted at a price that was lower than all the competitors. Next vehicle we purchase, Im going right back to these people... Wherever they may be working. It would be to Fords benefit to continue to hire quality staff like these guys.I dont want to leave out the few other staff that I interacted with (I cant recall all their names) or the service department guys & gals though. I dont know if these guys all just saw me as an approachable type or what, but everyone came up to me to be friendly and helpful. Other dealerships look at you and only see the size of your wallet, but Simi Ford looks at you like a fellow human being, and really tries to do their best to serve you to the best of their ability.

Brought my car in for a window issue. They wanted to charge me over $1,000 for parts and labor. So I did a quick search for that part online and found it for $41. I called a local company and they came out the next day and did the same exact job Ford was going to do for $125. I am very angry for the price gouging from Ford after being a loyal customer since 1997. I will never go back to Simi Valley Ford. To all my fellow brothers and sisters in public safety, do not give them your business.

I had a 60,000 mile service done on my Ford Escape. This is during the time when we are to shelter at home. I am immune deficient and 68 years young, my mom lives with me and she is 92 years young. Therefore, I dont take any chances on going out in public. The service on my car was good. However, when I received my paperwork I saw that I was charged $50 to have my car picked up and returned to me. Thats a total of 12 miles round trip. When I asked for the service I was not informed that there was a $50 charge. When I verified that my car would be picked up there was no mention of the charge. Im glad I got my car taken care of, BUT I could have left it sitting in my garage and saved $50.This is what disappoints me about Simi Valley Ford.

My “home” Ford dealership is Galpin in North Hills, but during this Covid-19 period, I was having difficulties in getting an appointment to get my car services/repaired under warranty. I called Semi Valley dealership instead, and was able to get a quick response with a quick appointment. The service consultant(?) Mark couldn’t have been more attentive and friendly. I got texts from him every day on the progress of the repair which was very nice. Going forward, I would come to this dealership for services and purchases even though it is farther for me. Highly recommended.

I brought a 16 Mustang in to repair a factory defect on the car, which causes the A/C to malfunction badly. Mark and the entire service department were great to work with. Very professional and polite. They had to replace the evaporator on my car which is a pretty big job, because they have to take apart the entire dash on the vehicle. We had to wait several days for the part to come in. I was without my car for 5 days. Once the part came in, they were very quick/efficient and got the vehicle ready for me.The job Mark and the team did easily get 5 stars from me. The only reason Im giving 4 stars is because I think it wouldve been a great gesture to either give me my vehicle back until the part came in, or provide some form of loaner car for the time I was without the vehicle.I realize many dealerships wont do this, but I was without my car for a long time. Thats one small gripe though. Overall they did a great job with my car and thats what matters. I used them once before a year ago for a general service and they are FAR improved over then.

Shady services and finance department! When we purchased a car in 2017, in included $500 cash back, but they never sent a check for over two months, and I called and emailed over 10 times with no luck so finally had to report them to the Ford Protect Administration to finally get it in 6 months! Also, our car just go totaled from accident, and we requested for extended warranty. The fiance staff, Chad, was really rude and condescending. He tells you that you cancellation on extended warranty can only be done in person, and you cant request for the cancellation if there is no proof that the car is totaled, which is false information!Dont be fooled by all the false information they tell you to deter you from getting your right to cancelling the extended warranted exercise because EXTENDED WARRANTY CAN BE CANCELLED AT ANY TIME FOR ANY REASON even if the car is not totaled, which was confirmed by the Ford Protect Administration. They just dont want to pay you for what they owe you, period.I have already reported them to both Ford Customer Care and Ford Protect Administration and I was assured by the Ford Protect Administration that they will assist us with cancelling the extended warranty.I will see how the warranty refund process goes, and if they do any more shady stuff, I will NOT HESITATE to escalate the case and report them to the next level. No one should really buy a car from them at all, but if unfortunately you have already did, it would be much faster to get the Ford Protect Administration involved than dealing with them directly for any issues!

That wasnt true, however if I make an appointment at 7:30 am you should have staff there to assist. When I asked why it took so long it was because they were short staffed. Thats really not the customers problem. I told here what was wrong with my car when I made the appointment of course I get charged for you diagnose. Took 2 hours to tell me what I already knew, and then charged a redicous amount to fix it. Ive been a customer for many years and I keep thinking this time is going to be better, but every time I go I am disappointed. I spent over 1,000 in repairs in the last month. This was the only time I ever asked for a discount and was denied. Your labor cost was outrageous. This is most likely the last time I go. This was the straw that broke the camels back. We we told before any examination that the whole unit would need to be replaced and just the lens assembley wasnt available. That is a $700 part ! With labor, it was almost $1000 total. The kicker ? The light came in WITHOUT the lens assembly and had to be ordered SEPARATELY and came in the next day. So much time and money wasted.

My car was picked up at my home to have a recall taken care of. The recall was from 2016. I must have missed the notice. I had a service agreement with the Ford dealership so my car had been in the Simi Valley dealership to be serviced 3-4 times since the recall. It was never mentioned to me. I went to get my car smogged. It passed fine however I was told by the tech that unfortunately I would not receive my tags until the recall that I was not aware of was fixed.Apparently Ca. DMV is in the loop with recalls.I called Simi Ford. They said they would come pick my car up. I made clear that all I wanted done was the recall taken care of. I had a full tune up just the day before at an independent mechanic. Two hours later I receive a call from my service mgr., Mark Nolte telling me its time to have my spark plugs replaced. I told him again, I just had a tune up on it yesterday. Spark plugs were replaced. I just want the recall fixed that’s it.About 2 hours later I get another call fromMr. Nolte now telling me that my SUV needs the fuel pump replaced. I asked how much that would cost?$780 he said. I told him no thanks I couldn’t afford that right now. He told me, well your car may not start and it will stall. My car had been running beautifully. No problems with it whatsoever. He said you could hear it andyou could see it was worn some.Side note, I found out later my fuel pump is in the gas tank so there would have been no way for the mechanic to have seen it.I told him it would have to wait because I was out of work.About an hour later I receive yet another callfrom service mgr. Mark Nolte now telling me that unless I replace my fuel pump he cannot go ahead and replace, the flange, the recalled part.I told him I want my car back. He said ok but I can’t sign off on it. I told him, again just bring my car back.I immediately called over to Thousand Oaks Ford to get the recall taken care of there. I did not mention a thing about being told earlier that I needed a new fuel pump. They had an appointment opening first thing the next morning. Later that next afternoon I received a call telling me my car was ready to be picked up. No problems, no up selling nothing and not one mention about a fuel pump issue.I showed the mechanic my paper work thatMark Nolte had given to me the day before. He told me what he wrote did not make any sense to him.Simply put as far as I am concerned whatservice mgr.Mark Nolte tried to do to me was nothing short of extortion. Either get your fuel pump replaced or I won’t sign off on your recall. He knew I was in a spot because I would not be issued my car tags until the recall was taken care of. All I wanted was to get my recall fixed that was it. But what I was getting was up selling and threats of what I needed to do.I had heard other stories besides my own experiences with the frequent up selling at the Simi Valley Ford.If you have a choice take my advice from experience, the best place to take your car for servicing is the Thousand Oaks Ford dealership. They are much more organized and professional there. You can see it’s a much better run facility. You Really get the sense you can trust them there. I say this after 7 years of dealing with them at the Simi Valley Ford dealership.S.V.
