I have been in the automotive industry for years and I have even worked at a competing Toyota dealership closer to my home, but opted to work with Matt (Sales Manager)and Juan (Finance Manager) when I purchased my new Prius Prime because of the overwhelmingly perfect customer service I received from them. They got me the car I was looking for (even during this difficult time) and remained 100% transparent during the process. Great experience from start to finish. I found Simi valley toyota to have to best deals overall. Not like others that have 5k to 8k mark-ups or accessories. My sales guy Joe Black was very patient and understanding.The financing dept gave me the best interests rate and it seem like they really care. Then again its a family own business. I would highly recommend them. I live over an hour away and will make the drive again for another purchase.

Recently bought a used 2017 Porsche Cayenne from Simi Valley Toyota remotely as I am located in North California and everyone that I spoke to throughout the process was super helpful and friendly. Shane in sales was super responsive and provided all the information as well as connected me with the service advisors to provide details on the condition of the car. Jacky and Juan in finance were great as well to help finalize the financing. When I arrived to pick my car up everyone in the staff was very nice and friendly. So why put it on the website? Other than that I had a pleasant experience. All the people involved in helping me were very nice. I dont know if this place is under new management or what, but I just got my car back after 13 days; for 8 of those days, I was calling to ask for updates without ever getting to speak to anyone other than the operator and without ever getting a call back. When asked about this, they blamed their phone system and said no one ever gave me the message. The work is adequate, but this lack of communication is unforgiveable.(Update after the below response: If they were capable of getting back to me as soon as possible, this review would have no reason to exist.)

Oh myyyy what an adventure we had with Simi Valley! First, even though its a trite expression, I will say that there is a good vibe here with these folks. Chey was my point person and she gets dozens of gold stars for tolerating me. I say that a lot in my reviews, but I mean it! If someone can get through my barrage of questions, provide the answers to me and still juggle my request and repeated requests for clarifying fees, rates, total charges... well, thats a rock star in my book.But beyond that, Chey was so good to us despite the fact that I (inadvertently) totally blew her off Saturday afternoon when we had an appointment scheduled. Thats not my style. She took it in stride and called (as if equipped with ESP) at the perfect nano-second in which to guide us back to her store.She lined up her team like little soldiers when I said, OK were coming but we need this efficient and streamlined because we also have an infant in tow. Chey orchestrated it like a boss! Though she also made it clear the entire time she was NOT the boss... but clearly she and management work in wonderful harmony and that all trickled down to our amazing experience.Go Simi Valley! Service center 0/10. Everytime I come here to get my vehicle serviced they always forget to do things. Once they forgot to put a lugnut on my tire, another time they forgot to hook up the tire pressure sensors, left air caps off tires. These are all things I can see and notice. Hope they didn’t forget anything in the engine compartment! I Will not be going back here!

I was shopping for a new Highlander online. I did the build program and at the end clicked contact a dealer. Shane Miller at Simi Toyota sent me a link with the car I was looking for and specs. Went out Saturday afternoon looking for a truck, but hubby says anything but a Toyota however they had customer parking available so he decided to just take a look. Our intention was to use a broker once we knew what we wanted.Salesman Jared helped us look at what they had, explained about what the features of the vehicles were and about leasing and my husband was sold. Less than 4 hours later we were at home with our leased 2021 Tacoma.Jared was the best and this is the best experience Ive ever had getting a vehicle.

I went to get my routine oil done. I had to get other things done to my vehicle as well, like change the windshield wipers, change the brake fluid, replace the front brakes etc. I go on a Friday and leave my car over the weekend and get a message on Tuesday morning to pick it up. I go and pick it up. As I’m driving and getting onto the freeway ramp, I see a black hubcap roll out. (The left one). As I get home and park my car the right hubcap is barely holding onto the tire. It’s not even placed back as it should be. OMG! I cannot believe it. I remove it with my hand and take it inside my home.I feel like this place doesn’t put my car back together. It’s not the only time something like this has happened. There are two other scenarios I can think of. It’s a nightmare. I don’t want to be those clients that looks and sees what else can be wrong with my vehicle I trusted them to do a good job and they failed. It’s just frustrating when I have to go out of my way to purchase a new set again. Next time I’ll be that client that checks everything before leaving.

We were looking at Tacomas, trading in our f-150, was just going to look then move on because of the previous bad experience we had there about 2 years ago when it was the previous owners. We were blown away at the change in attitude and customer service there.so much that we left that day in an awesome 2020 tacoma TRD 4x4 sport and left our f-150. We had a great experience there and absolutely love our new Tacoma. Summary (TLDR): Quality cars, no pressure or games. They can get busy, know what to expect. Details: I spent a month shopping used. Ordered a car on Vroom.com and they sent my deposit back 10 days later, no explanation. Looked into Carmax, many vehicles had a dubious history. When buying used, how the car was treated is paramount. First dealer I went to said they didnt have the advertised car on the lot. Was in storage. Went back the next day after negotiating a price, and it was a car with different features. Some places lowball/bait. When shopping online, average the expensive and cheap, and youll know what the car is worth. Simi Toyota had a good price and the car was in great shape w/one previous owner. Tips: When ready to buy, go in person. Payment options were borrow/finance or cashiers check and small amount on credit card. You might be there a couple hours, bring a book. They sell a $250 option to return within 48 hours. I didnt do this because they let me have a mechanic check it out. Title and registration arrive in the mail within 30 days. Unfortunately my experience at this dealership was an absolute disappointment to say the least. I was contacted right away by Shane who was very nice and said Simi Valley Toyota would match the price I wanted for a new Highlander Hybrid if I came in to buy the car on Sunday but the car hadn’t even arrived at the dealership yet so I said I didn’t want to buy a car I hadn’t even seen yet and asked him to contact me once it arrived. He texted me yesterday to let me know the car had arrived so my husband and I took off work early to go in today. Well when it came down to it face to face with the Sales manager Marlon we were told that there’s no way they would honor that pricing and we were basically told tough luck for a mistake made by them. Even after showing the text messages and lack of specific details on their side, minimal effort was made to even try to get close to what was promised, excuses made with no solution, and zero attempt to keep us as potential customers. They wouldn’t even honor the price listed online by stating it was “a mistake.”Left the dealership with a very bad taste in our mouths and frustrated on the time wasted and the bait and switch tactic they ended up using. This whole situation could’ve been handled better, and maybe a different manager could’ve made things right, or maybe that’s just how the “family at Simi Valley Toyota” works.

Extremely irritated with this dealership. I work in the same industry aswell as customer service, and if I was working here I would be ashamed. We confirmed before coming in THE SAME DAY that we were not budging on the price, and was still told to come in, no problem.After doing the test drive (car wasnt even prepped) and sitting down to go over everything they told us there was no way they could offer that price because it was no longer the end of the month and that the price was to meet a quota. Come on, really? What kind of dealership are you running, if this was the case you should have told us that before we both left work early to drive 45 minutes to get the bait and switch.The biggest red flag should have been when we were contacted the week prior that if we came in that Sunday they would sell it at that price and when we asked for pictures they turned around and said it wasnt actually there yet. Niceee.Im just baffled at how poorly your team took care of my family. It was a guaranteed sale and all you had to do was honor the price you gave us.

BUYER BEWARE: Mike Lenhart was the consultant who assisted me.To the point: I saw him pulling up the Credit App and told him not to run my credit because I was pre-approved. He said no matter where you purchase a car, they have to run your credit. I found this odd as I was not going to finance with them. He said becauase of identity theft. I told my friend and she thought that was odd too. She told him I was pre-approved and he said the same thing. Wow! What a pleasure to do business with Simi Valley Toyota!I had done my research ad nauseum, test drove almost every model of SUV with three rows at least once and sometimes more (just to make sure...) After all my research was done, the Toyota Highlander Hybrid came out on top, and I dug deep to decide on the features I wanted (yep - I like creature comforts coupled with great gas mileage and decided on the Platinum Limited), the price I was willing to pay, and made ready to buy. I called every dealership that had the vehicle with the specs I wanted and gave them every opportunity to earn my business.One dealership was spot on - except the color. I guess the other dealerships thought I wasnt serious, so when I shared this information with them, they told me they couldnt match the deal.OK...I was just about to acquiesce and except the compromise color, when I did some more sleuthing and found Simi Valley Toyota with MY CAR! I called just before 9 PM on Friday evening and spoke with Matt. When I shared the deal I had brokered and the proof, he asked to call me back in a few minutes. I was startled when just a couple of minutes later he called me back and met the deal.The next day, I showed up at the dealership (it was a trek - more than 40 miles from my work), introduced myself, and was put in the capable hands of Doug. I test drove the car, decided it was indeed MY CAR, and we sat down to the business at hand. A few hours later, with the additional help of Marlon who worked on getting me the price I wanted for my trade in and Ricardo who prepared the reams of paperwork for me to sign, I was driving home in MY CAR - no haggling, no slight-of-hand, and a better deal than when I walked in.If you are in the market and are considering Toyota, really, you need look no further than Simi Valley Toyota. And what do they do. I start to get alerts on my phone capital one auto just checked your credit. So I got up and asked them for my keys and I walked out. No help whatsoever, the internet salesperson has no idea how to help. Four years ago I had the best experience in a trade in even with bad credit. Internet salesperson did not want to help any situation at all.

This was the first time coming to Simi Valley Toyota to service my Sienna. Angel in service and the parts department gave me a very fair price and were very professional. There was a minor issue with repair, but Angel fixed the issue immediately. I definitely recommend this dealership after previously going to Northridge Toyota.

WARNING.....we were ready to buy a new car from them had a set price via text...had traveled 2 hours when saw they had put 1200 dollars in fees for things we didnt ask for and were told we had to get them that is why they can give you a good dea this is the way they make there moneyl ....we tore the contract and drove 2 hours back home without the car....they said it is what they do with all the cars their standard practice according to one of the managers
