Busy store, pretty good selection of liquor & wine. Parking is at the back but my suggestion to park in a garage across the street. Despite thats a kinda a state store it does have tasting - mostly vodkas & gin.

If I could give less than one star I would!! Do not go this place !! If u Park ur vehicle their parking lot which is located behind the liquor .. they will call someone grab ur car and hiding somewhere else!! This is ridiculous totally ridiculous. My relatives went their buy some liquor, they parked vehicle and bought some liquor but with in 10 minutes their car towed away, this is insane

I buy my alcohol from this liquor store, and it’s always a pleasant experience. The staff is very nice, the store is always clean and usually fully stocked with whatever I need. I just had to leave a review after my last visit to also inform the public that not only is the staff very nice, but they are very knowledgeable. I went in their explaining to them how I wanted to try new liquor and what I was looking for and they gave me a few options, with very thorough explanations and practically a history lesson on the different types of alcohol. I never thought I would learn so much that day, and I am very thankful for that. Their recommendations were perfect and I love the new alcohol I purchased!

Great well priced selection of liquor, liqueurs, wine and beer. Loved the wide variety of pre mixed drinks like Iced coffee and Lemonade. Three kinds of Patron liqueur, and Almond milk Baileys. Friendly staff, great location right on Colesville Road. Will definitely take my wine and Bourbon loving friends when they come to visit.

This shop is at a very convenient location near downtown silver spring. All the products are well organized and pretty easy to find even for a novice. Theres a pretty good selection here and they make it through the lines pretty fast. No issues here.

Excellent selection of popular adult high-octane liquids, and quite a few rare and aged ones as well. I tend to favorite bourbon, but I am a man of wide horizons, and Ive found their peaty liquids tasty as well. Those are best with a pipe blends, whereas I find the bourbon tends to favor the good cigar. Those in the know understand these things, and some will argue with me, which is highly acceptable.This store has an efficient, friendly and knowledgeable staff.On the way in, there was a table for tasting gin. I tried all three, and that added to the visit nicely. Their juniper one would be good for the tonic summertime standard, whereas the citrus one tasted like Skittles, and the pepper one was what it was. If you like rye whisky, then thats your thing.This Montgomery County thing is my go-to for the best prices, a solid catalogue, and helpful people who work there. Dont forget to sample free booze when you are ever offered.

Decent selection of liquor, prices dont reflect whats advertised on county site, a bit of up charge. Bit only spot close to work. Lines for pretty fast depending on time of day, week. Cashiers somewhat friendly, seem more interested in chatting up with each other than giving good customer service, dont engage too much with customers, so could definitely work on being more welcoming.

Mostly all the clerks are extremely nice, helpful and knowledgeable of all the products... One even sang, its a great atmosphere in there. Also I only get liquor from the top 2 shelves and they so are good!

I asked the woman at the front if they had a brand of liquor she said yes. I wasnt floowed around the store. You can pretty much stand in one spot and see just about anything. She asked me if i wanted a bag? Told her no. The liquor is cheaper there too. 30 oz rum for 10$

As stated by other reviewers, this place sucks. This is the result of a government mandated monopoly - the business is in no danger of closing because it is run by the county. The employees dont care about the customers. Anyone from silver spring goes just out of county (for example to the nearby Morris Miller) to get a reasonable selection and service. Plus, the tax is lower in dc.

Their beer is warm but then again what county run liquor store has a fridge anyway? So besides that, they have a good selection and theyre lines (if there are any) always move quickly. Not a lot of parking btw

I just walked into this establishment with my husband of 14 years. We are both black and 44 years of age. We both have lived in the DC area all of our lives. It was shameful that both people working in the establishment, a female of African descent, and a male of Indian descent, both very dark complexions had my husband and I followed around the store like common criminals. The African woman thought she was whispering when she asked the Indian man to follow us. My husband and I heard every word, and zig zaggeg around the store, and there he was, the Indian with skin the color of dark molasses. Following us around like one of those police dogs from the 60’s. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING from this disgusting place. We are hard working Americans, dark skinned as well, and we felt like we were in the middle of the plantation with 2 Uncle Toms.

Unlike the other reviewers, I actually had no problem with this liquor store. Sure the people arent jumping all over themselves to help you, but its actually one of the cheapest places Ive found for a lot of the things I buy since theres no store mark up. And they arent going to give you a bag without charging you. Thats Montegomery County law (plastic bags are five cents a piece). Anywhere you go youre going to have to pay a nickel for those. Perhaps it would have been helpful to offer a bag, but having to pay for it shouldnt have been a surprise. Overall, I actually quite like this store.

They have a good sales, and a decent selection of beer, wine, and liquor. The staff is helpful, but there are only two registers, so checkout can sometimes take a while.

I love this liquor store. This particular one is open on Sundays, the staff is friendly and responsive. The selection is excellent and on occasion when they havent had something I was looking for, they were able to get it before my next visit. The only criticism I can think of is that sometimes the parking in back is all filled up.

They charged me $26.30 for one bottle of wine but on the receipt says $11.99 for the bottle when I read the rest of the receipt it said I was charged for two bottles I walked out the store with one bottle and noticed this the next day. When I checked my receipt this is when I noticed it. Be careful and make sure u check what u payed for.

Surprisingly solid collection of wines and liqueurs in a store that is much more expansive than it appears from the sidewalk.
