The service was excellent. They do good work. But, they were going to charge me $810 for less then 2 hours worth of work--no parts, only service. I compalined and they reduced it to $680. This was still a ridiculous amount of money for the time involved. Will find someone else next time.

I question any company that charges you to provide a quote for new doors. They came out and measured the inside openings of the garage doors. Thats it! I was able to provide this info over the phone. So i am not sure why they had to do this. Then they provided me with a quote that was twice the amount of another local installer. Buyer beware!

Once I called them, the technician came out right away. Not only did he take care of the problem, but he inspected the door to make sure it was safe and in good working condition (it’s a new house). Then, he did some preventative maintenance on the door. He was very kind and respectful.

1st guy out was super nice. Gave me the info that he thought was best for my opener. Being a mew build,it was rewired for a conventional overhead. He said I needed a jack opener. Price was high but I agreed. Next trip out another guy came and said I needed a conventional overhead opener. That was confusing for me but when he came and installed, he did a heck of a great job. Im so happy he was sent out instead of the 1st guy. Id give guy #2 10 stars but guy #1 needs about 2 plus some training. Seems to be a solid customer and the guy that did the work I just have great things to say about him.

They came in a week ago and installed a great door, and forgot 1 part. I called the next day and they immediately had me back on the schedule and now it all looks and works great!

Same day service and exceptional price along with impeccable service. They had to drive 30 miles to get to my house and it only took the service tech about 45 minutes to straighten out the track and replace all the rollers. Best service ever!

Called OGD for repair service and their technician Bryan, arrived in about 2 hours, after keeping me informed as to when to expect him. He determined the problem with my garage opener and gave me several options. I chose an option and he then gave me an estimate on the cost. He was very courteous and professional. I had an issue with my garage door arm pulling out of the mounting bracket on the door. A friend referred OGD to me and when I called, they were able to come the same day. The technician was supposed to arrive between 4-6pm and he arrived several minutes before 4pm. The technician was very thorough in his assessment of my garage door and was able to show that my garage door needed added tension on the springs, as well as the obvious problem. He provided me with a quote that I believed was fair, and I authorized the repairs. He quickly got to work and had the job completed in a timely manner. I had a great experience! I called one afternoon, and they could fit me in the next morning. Bryan had the product on his truck and installed it, showed me how to use it, inspected my door and cleaned up his mess. He did this all in less than and hour and a half. He was very cognitive of social distancing. Bryan was polite and very informative. He explained why I was having the trouble with my existing opener and gave me several options explaining in the detail the differences. I was quite pleased with the experience and will certainly call OGD the next time. (They replaced my garage door many years ago when it was damaged).

I have used OGDs services twice and they have been wonderful. The most recent was for broken coils. Called at 7:30 pm the night before and at 8 am the following morning someone was at my door and had me all set within an hour. Both service techs were friendly and pleasant to speak with.

The technician that came out was very polite and informative. The reason for 1 star is that I originally called on sat morning and setup an appt that was supposed to be between 1 and 5 later that day. After not hearing back from anyone by 5 I called back only to be told that no one was going to be able to come out and I would need to reschedule for sun between 9 and 12. After showing up the technician went over the door with me and agreed that the springs needed to be replaced. He then quoted me $500 to replace the springs. I asked prior to anyone coming out for a quote to replace the springs since I knew that was what was wrong but was only told it would be a $35 service charge to come out and after that I would get the quote from the technician. I had springs replaced before by another company and it was only $200 so I felt the $500 price was too steep and the fact I had to pay $35 for someone to come out and tell me what I already was ridiculous. I called a local company and they were out at 7 am when they said they would be here and replaced the springs for the same $200.

Responded to call very quickly. Problem resolved same day. Excellent technician and service. Very pleased.

Garage door opener snapped its bracket, trapping the car in the garage. Trying to unlatch the drive and manually open the door proved something else was wrong. I could not lift it a quarter of an inch.I installed anew opener in order to get the car out, but I knew there was still a major problem.It’s now Saturday morning and requested a Monday appointment to have the door looked st. Within an hour I had a return call and that a repair tech could look st it that day.. door springs replaced along with a few other items. Took about three hours to get things back to normal.Very fast service and tech had everything needed on his truck. Great service!

The tension spring broke on my garage door during the morning. I called Overhead Garage Door and they sent a repairman out that afternoon. He replaced the springs in both doors (the other was on borrowed time!) as well as the rollers in about an hour! I was very happy with the service especially the expediency! My husband and I used Overhead Garage Door for our home in Oklahoma City. My dear friend Cynthia wanted to leave a review for the home she just moved out of in Sherman as she can no longer type. The young man was very nice, prompt and looked like her grandson.

I see from the other three reviews they do good work, but I wouldnt know. I talked to them two different times to work on a rent house I own in Anna. Both times they told me they would contact the tenant to schedule a time to work on the garage doors. Both times (about a week apart) they never did according to my tenant. First time I spoke with Ian. Next time to Dan. I called another place who called my tenant that day and scheduled the work..

My technician, Brian, call to let me know he would arrive in 30 minutes. Upon arrival, he survived the problem, checked for any causes and gave me a price for the job. After the price was agreed to, it took him about an hour to replace 6 hinges and 2 springs. He also re-rest the adjustments on the opener. Everything was done very professionally.

After using another local company (big mistake), I turned to Overhead Garage Door to fix my door at a reasonable cost. They came out the very next day and helped get my moms door working. I regret not using them the first time, but glad I had a good experience with this company and it changed my mind about service companies in general. Note to self and others out there - do your research and find a good company.

This company is a rip off. I called them to repair my chamberlain liftmaster. They showed up an hour late, spent 6 seconds looking at the unit - not the broken part and said it couldn’t be repaired bu they could install a new one for $500. I said I just wanted this one repaired. The tech said the part isn’t made anymore. I had him call his manager who said the same thing.I opened my amazon app, typed in the name and model of the opener and “coupler” $7.95 shipped prime. Fits all screw type openers from 1995 to preset. I only paid them $45 for the service call fee. Wish I hadn’t.These are the kind of people that prey on older people and upsell wealthy. Im a disabled vet and they did their best to rip me off. Shame on them.Stay away from these crooks.

Customer service at OGD is unlike anywhere else. The time they take to walk you through exactly what they are doing really makes you know you hired the right garage door specialist. Other companies I have used in the past just handed over a bill leaving me to wonder what in the heck did I just pay for. I will never use anyone but OGD.

OGS has been a great contractor for me in Sherman. My door broke in the morning and I couldnt get my car out to get to work, and OGD came almost immediately, fixed the door and I still made my meeting that morning!
