Just stopped in for a bacon egg and cheese. He asked what I wanted on it. I said salt and pepper... then watched as he added Adobe, or something else that was in the shaker. As if he thinks hes a master chef. It was absolutely horrendous. How do you screw up a BE&C?

Guy there asked very rudely what my problem is for looking at noodles too long. However they do have stuff and its affordable.

They had the ketchup i was looking for; He let me use my debit card even though i didnt meet the $10 limit (he seemed nice to me); and you can eat off their floors, its so clean.

PLEASE DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!! I live across the street and needed to get a roll of toilet paper after running out. I do not have a car that I could use to go to any store, and this store is the most convenient, which is why I chose to go there today, despite the fact they are vastly overpriced and Ive had bad experiences there in the past due to their extremely poor customer service. I was already aware they require a minimum purchase in order to use a debit card. I dont even have enough money in the bank to make the minimum $8 debit purchase and I have no available credit. I had to borrow money from my stepsons coin jar just to buy the roll of toilet paper. I dont have any coin rollers and dont bank with any of the banks within walking distance so that I could exchange the coin for dollar bills. Most of the coin my stepson had was pennies, so I counted out $2 in pennies and placed each dollar in a separate bag since I had no way to roll it. when I pulled the bag of pennies out of my pocket to purchase the $1.25 roll of toilet paper, the owner immediately said very rudely, No! I dont take those! I told him it was all I had other than the card. He said it needed to be rolled. I told him I dont have any rollers and asked if he would please let me use my debit card then. He grabbed the roll of toilet paper and walked away to help other customers waiting in line at the deli (he was the only one there working) completely ignoring my presence. I have NEVER in my life been treated so terribly by ANYONE!!! I am still in shock and very upset by how I was treated at this place.Do yourself a favor and go down to Mill Variety right down the street! Not only will they allow you to use a debit/credit card for ANY purchase (there is a $0.25 fee for purchases under $10), but they are so nice and friendly!! I was going to pay the $0.25 fee to use my card, but when I told the owner what happened to me at Howe Market and Deli down the street, she asked if I still had the pennies on me and told me she would gladly take them whether or not they were rolled! They have earned my business for life!!
