Good ole Freddys... Yet another cookie cutter big chain store system found all over the place, similar to Safeway or Wal-Mart size and product availability, and yet also with a different feel and ambiance from the aforementioned two above! Pricing of products is also similar in ranging, although recently, Freddies comes in at a better savings in food costs than their competitors... Good meat and seafood sections, very good veggies in the bag your self section of the store, helpful and attentive staff at almost every location. Shop till you drop folks!

There is always a wonderful selection of many items. They have great sales. However, there are never enough open lines and its possible to be in line for over 10 minutes.

Do not get your grocery pick up at this store! What a cluster! Waited an hour and half after my pickup time to only have them come out missing a lot of items! And I said specifically they could substitute anything. So after I tell them to take the order back and I dont want it I go into the store and everything they said was missing from my order is right there in the store! I knew they werent out of onions and melon and cheese and deli turkey! The manager said they were understaffed which I understand, most businesses are, however you cannot call and tell us before we drive there and wait an hour and a half that our grocery order is behind? If this was the first time it happened I would be okay and understand however it was the third time in 6 months that this has happened. Yeah theyre produce might be better but Im going to stick with Walmart from now on Ive never had an issue in the year that I did grocery pick up with them.

This place has great customer service and a very good layout and variety of grocery and health care products... I just wish that this was a fred Meyers that carried everything but unfortunately its just a grocery store...

We love the grocery pickup and have had nothing but awesome service from the folks managing that! Today, Neahmaiah (I am probably spelling that so wrong I am sorry) brought the hustle to replace a broken milk jug for us and was super communicative and helpful.

This Fred Meyer always provides excellent service, a large selection, and a much nicer shopping atmosphere than any other grocery store in Shelton. It is always my first choice in grocery shopping. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys fantastic service and a very clean place to shop.

Came in to get my vaccine and the pharmacy staff was awesome!However, I am stunned to see many employees, mostly white men, with their masks below their noses as I sit here waiting to make sure I dont have side effects if the vaccine. Really ignorant and ridiculous after more the 3 million people have died from this disease worldwide.i wont be back to shop here.

This Fred Meyer is awesome because its in a very very convenient location you can get anything you pretty much need theyre pretty quickly and also that Fred Meyer always has a very great selection with discount club prices and customer service is very friendly and theyre always hiring and its just pretty much Good vibes all around Id highly recommend it

Like most of the recent bad ratings I am giving a bad review based on the fact that they dont ask customers to wear masks. It makes me worried about my safety. I am really disappointed because Fred Meyer used to be my favorite local store but now I cant shop there anymore.

I was nice to find a large grocery store so far away fro the big city! Good, standard neighborhood Freds with all the usual departments, that I could tell. Busy parking lot in a generally busy area but conveniently located. If youre headed North this may be the last real grocery store you see for a while.

The sushi recently took a huge dive in quality. Overall this store has a highly commercial selection with only items that move large amounts. Smaller selling and more interesting items are tested and dropped regularly. Dont get attached to anything, especially in the freezer section. It will be removed forever after two weeks of low, sales.Anyway, the only things this store has that walmart doesnt (and for less money), are the organic section, and the fresh deli section, such as their nicely made hot soups and sandwiches. Those are good things I like about this store. Otherwise? Lack-luster and too commercially minded.It is the only place ive ever seen this particular Formaggio. If they ever drop this Formaggio from the organic section, it will break my spirit and I will never come back.

The bad news is that this is a small store (no clothing, furniture, etc.), but the staff and Natural Foods section make up for it. During the 2020 pandemic, Ive enjoyed excellent service from Click shopping---Tami and Tony go above and beyond. Mike in Produce, Brian up front, and the weekday morning self-checkout people are friendly and helpful, and the Natural Foods section is fantastic.

I purchased chicken tenders from the deli using instacart. Normally the tenders are very good. This time they were visibly burned (rock-hard) and the chicken itself so dried out it was brown and completely inedible. Theres no excuse for this; they literally sold me garbage. Im going to assume it was because I wasnt there to seet hat it was burned. They know they are selling garbage but was told I must drive to the store to get a refund. I paid for delivery of garbage

Food prices were outrageous. The worst was the Mens bathroom. The was no paper towels or soap. The floor was covered in piss and smelled like an port a potty in August. The toilet seat has holes in it and is peeling. This is clearly weeks and months of not caring.

The past 4 times I’ve been here, I’ve been treated horribly, all by different employees. I never usually write complaints or call the managers, but this is the only store I’ve had to make several calls to. Why is it that every time I decide to come here, I regret it instantly? They hire so many rude bitter people into customer service positions.

I do all my grocery shopping there and save so much with lower prices and the produce is very good.

People don’t wear mask. They socialize and hug each other. They dont give anyone else including me any social distancing. They kept shopping around casually endangering the lives of others. The employees and managers dont care.

All employees are very accommodating and it times I share my event with employees and managers in regards to how it went.

There are too many employees not keeping their masks up or on. Visit on 7/16 meat department, one female employee mask down, working on fish area. Three Male employees wearing masks around necks while stocking. Manager talking to non working employee about schedule while standing near meat depot. She was not masked, apparently on a day off and doing personal shopping. There are not enough people employed at Shelton taking this seriously. Will be going to Olympia if we have to take this kind of risk. This casual attitude has been going on for months.

Sushi and staff were super helpful and professional, self checkout machine gets 0 stars for being slow scale needs calibrated because it kept telling me to put item in bag for every single thing wasting a ton of mine and everyone elses time waiting on the stupid thing.

I usually love shopping at this Fred Meyer. However, today I was shopping and still they are not requiring patrons to wear masks even tho now its required. Other stores are not letting people in if they’re not following the law. Very disappointed

We went shopping on Saturday February 8th for groceries and got 2 of the beef roasts that were supposed to be buy 1 get 1 free but we didnt get the second one free, it wasnt taken off at the register. Thank goodness we looked at the receipt, If we shop there again we will check before leaving the store. We had to drive back to Shelton for a refund and Trudi at the customer service desk was Very Rude. She told us to make sure our receipt is in perfect condition next time or we wont get a refund. What it comes down to is that we werent the only customers that were charged for the meat that was supposed to be buy 1 get 1 free, sad considering how much groceries cost now a days. Moral of the story is Always check your receipt before you leave the store and expect to be treated poorly at the customer service desk

I do not often give the big chain stores 5 stars. They are usually missing something. But this Fred Meyer is great! Staff is very friendly and they have great stuff that is fresh. Prices are good too.

Its my favorite grocery store. The Shelton Fred Meyer is very clean and welcoming. Their produce dept is colorful and fresh. The shelves are organized. The meat dept always looks good, and Ive never had a problem with any meat Ive bought there. The employees are friendly and helpful. There is always an employee standing up front, if you have a question. I have never had to stand in line at the checkout, they always have an abundance of checkers on hand. I love our Shelton Fred Meyer.

Liberal ideology has taken over the magazine section. Leadership edits publics reading material and dramatically cut back on magazines that feature firearms. As if someone who has a hobbie in firearms might be better off not reading about them. At least Safeway has not gone the liberal way.

I have been shopping here for many years and it has always been a good place to go. Clean store, friendly and down to earth employees and the prices are not bad. I love Fred Meyer and always will.

Probably the best grocery store in Shelton as far as quality of selection and service. Everyone Ive ever talked to here is very knowledgeable about their store and location of their items, unlike other places where its difficult to find anyone to help you and if you do, they have no clue as to anything in their store. We usually have a great experience here, even with the pharmacy.

Fred Meyer has awesome employees at the Shelton, WA location. I went shopping there and forgot my purse filled with all my things including my wallet with all my cards and money in it. I was freaking out and rushed back after I realized it was missing. I went to customer service and they had it! With all the the contents in tact. I was so grateful. Thank you Fred Meyer, you guys are the best!

I did an onine order from Fred Meyer and Wal-Mart to pick up both on Saturday morning. Wal-Mart emailed me wanting to substitute an item with something completey different. It was too late to modify my order online so I called Fred Meyers and they were able to locate what I needed and add it to my pickup order. I feel like they went the extra mile for me and I really appreciate every single employee there. Thanks for saving my mothers day weekend!!

Good selection and surprising values on many everyday” products. The sale items generally make Fred Meyer a better deal than the big yellow happy face store across the street. Plus, the produce section is always the best in town and the staff are fantastic and always ready and willing to help.

This is a great grocery store for any area but an exceptional one for a more rural and out of the way area like Shelton. They have excellent produce and a good selection of grocery items including a small section of import groceries. Definitely the best grocery store in the area.

Bought some yogurt for my infant son from the baby section to find out that they expired mid-september and I just bought them a few days ago. Also a lot of the employees dont know how to social distance nor keep their masks over their noses.

Love shopping here. Lots of healthy choices and bulk. Prices here are cheaper or close to the prices at Wal-Mart across the street. I can shop here quicker for groceries and get awesome customer service. Minus a star cause pharmacy seems to have lots of computer problems but still use them.

In mens room, toilet seat was loose and paper towel dispenser was empty. Parking lot cars left in sun with dogs barking. Very slow service at Starbucks. Not a lot of people, just more talk than coffee brewing.

Clean store. Love the produce and seafood quality. Found the self checkout to be rather picky compared to other stores but I suppose I can understand the reason behind it. Next time I will know the rules. Dont remove any items from bagging area until its paid for. Lol 😜 I rung up and bagged several items then put them on bottom basket of cart. The lady came over to my basket, started moving my bagged items off the cart and said dont move items from bagging area, you have two bagging columns. Felt she needs a course in soft skills, no need to be grabby or treat me like a child. Im an adult who obviously did not know their rules. Even when I followed the bagging instructions, the computer was very sensitive saying I didnt bag the item when I actually did. Obviously some things need worked out?Dont get me wrong, I generally like this store just beware of the self checkout. Lol 😜

I love the staff here. We shop here twice, sometimes three times a week. They always have what I need and want, and are so willing and happy to help me find what I need.

For a small town it has a lot and a great produce/Organics section. They also have bulk foods so you can grab just the amount you need or order it by the bag. It is nice to be greeted and recognized by employees who have been there for the years we have been going there. I really appreciate the caring attitude by all the staff!

I never have to wait in line here, the staff is friendly, and the location has a nice, clean and bright atmosphere. In addition, they have a great organic section and I find it easy to locate everything in the store. Recommend this Fred Meyer to any grocery shopper in Shelton!

Good selection of products, including some nicer imported and organic options not available at the local Wal-Mart. Alcohol seems to be cheaper here than at the local Wal-Mart. Fresh-made food at the deli counter is surprisingly good.

Went in to get some warm food. The food was pretty good and staff was extremely friendly. We were taking sometime to pick what we want but the person who helped us was calm and stayed with us the whole time.

The deli and pharmacy are very under staffed. Produce is nice but sometimes out of items on grocery shelves. Was much better when Fred Meyer owned it.

Fred Meyer has a great selection of different items you would need or that would come in handy. They sell grocery products along with cellphones and they have magazines and a pharmacy. The only unfortunate thing is that this location doesnt sell clothes or other electronics.

I only waited outside while my friend went in for vegetables. She says F.M.s veggies are better than elsewhere. They must be, because they were sold out! (?).

They have a great deli selection of hot food and a nice area with tables to eat. They also have a large produce section and bulk food too. Good place to get healthy food in Shelton.

I visit this Fred Meyers at least once a week. The staff on shift for todays visit was by far the best. The store had many customers but the way the store was being managed you wouldnt even know. There was no wait time for checking out my two carts of groceries with Haci, yet I did not feel rushed. My visit to customer visit was swift and friendly as well. I thank her name was Rita. The manager Phillip was hands on and helping not just standing around over seeing busy cashiers. Thank you to the team working today.

Fred Meyer is just so much better than Walmart. The service, selection, and overall atmosphere of the store are miles ahead of the neighbor across the street. Their produce section is top notch, same goes for their large selection of organic foods. When you enter Walmart you can almost feel the greedy and oppressive mentality that permeates throughout the top levels of the company. Fred Meyer feels like a real neighborhood market.

Went to the Starbucks there. Asked for extra hot mocha. Waited for girl at counter to write MON on sandwiches for 5 minutes. When I finally got my drink it was not even warm let Lone extra hot. When I handed it back and said its cold she gave me dirty look and made another one that was equally cold. I also got my granddaughter a drink and it was cold. 19 bucks for cold coffee.

Every time I venture out to this store, I always find great deals. Better quality than Safeway or Wal-Mart in my opinion and I find they even have better deals than Safeway and Wal-Mart. With the shopping reward points, Ive even saved $0.30 off per gallon of gas at their new station.

Well, the store is huge but badly organized. the butter is on an end case somewhere - never found it - and the cream cheese is in a closed case in the middle of the store.... Tiny, tiny bakery department. Really is not a great place to shop. Stars are for the staff, which is always nice.

Average grocery store. Its the Fred Meyer you remember 20 years ago. With just the basics in food. This store doesnt have apparel or electronics, just food. If your looking for fresh sushi you wont find anything like that here. Basic deli with fried foods. I recently talked to an employee who informed me that this spring or summer they will be renovating however because of a contract they signed with the Wal-Mart across the street they are forbidden to make Fred Meyer a full store with apparel and electronics and all the other home goods that we love. Oh well, Ill be happy when I see some sushi.

Looks nice however the placement of product is confusing. For example the 12 pack of English muffins are back by the milk and not on the muffin aisle. They did have most lanes open so the wait time was acceptable..
