Cassandra was very good at calming this freaked out ol lady...got me in, I explained the situation, she had a quick chat with the mechanic, he knew what to look for, no diagnostics, no extras.... i came back when the parts were in, and it was easier for me to leave it overnight...easy, peasy...have had no troubles since....Also, I had checked several auto shops and they all were similar fee wise. So, Thank you to D & L !!! They are great !! and of course I will use them again should any weird !@#@ happen....

Ive been 5-Star happy with their services for a while, however I couldnt believe what I experienced.Here is MY review buddy!I just read your reviews. If you are getting bad reviews perhaps its because of something your customers are not happy about. Insisting to a customer to change their review because you do not appreciate the negative comments is easily construed as a threat. Is their wallet, or worse, going to feel it because you dont get what you want? You have all the personal information you need to make all the hell you could want. Just wow.For the most part, I have been ignoring your cost of labor. After reading I ran some numbers and did some online window shopping. Sometimes I find the same product for a fraction of your stated price. That seems to match a negative review. You guys did forget to top off some fluids before, I took care of it without fuss, and again that matches a neg review. Im starting to find a pattern here.I really do not understand what is their problem with just doing their job when they are getting paid good money.Should stay professional at a place of business, and keep personal issues at home.

Too expensive for the level of quality. Couldnt competently do the simplest of tasks, and even forgot to put fluids back in the vehicle after a total system flush. Im lucky to had checked the engine a little after leaving the shop, because if I hadnt the commute travel would had probably damaged it.I was recommended these guys because of the great service they have done for others. I wouldnt go back to these guys if my vehicles life depended on it.Its unfortunate there are companies around that take advantage of their customers like this. There is no excuse for what they did.

I have been going to D&L Automotive ever since I moved to the area back in 1984. Noel has always been a part of that automotive team. He nor the former owner have ever let me down in any way, shape or form. Their diagnostics have ALWAYS been correct and the work has always been exact, and precisely executed. I have referred several/many people to D&L for work and they are as satisfied as am I. Due to the excellent work and the reasonable charges I do not plan to go to any other automotive shop. D&L are the best. I actually look forward to my periodic visits to Noels shop.

I brought in my Toyota scion because The air wasnt working and it was leaking water into the passenger side. They diagnosed it quickly, were able to get the motor needed and installed it super fast. The receptionist and mechanics are very personable and helpful. They were an absolute pleasure. This is definately my new spot for any mechanical issues.

Hello guys, I just wanted to say that I had wonderful service today from D & L and recommend you go and get some work done. I got friendly service and my car is working much better than before. Actually, it works like as if it were new but its not. Its a 97 Ford Escort lol. To those who have also had terrible service like I have at other places who has told me there was a profound amount of issues with my car when in reality there wasnt hardly any. D & L wont give you any BS here. For the service, including how knowledgeable they are, with cheap prices on services, you truly cant beat them by going some where else. Just had to say what I need to say for outstanding work. Thank you. :D

Took My car in that I bought from a less then reputable dealer and told him I was very afraid of what he would find. He did not take advantage of my fear, but rather gave me a realistic list of a few issue that needed to be dealt with and said that the car was in great shape. Spent less than $400 for a list of stuff I KNOW would of cost more from certain other local establishments. Got the work done within the day, and they were very courteous; which I am not used to from auto repair places. Well done guys... we will be back!!!

Appreciated their timeliness and competence. Also that they stopped working on my car and gave me a call when they realized the problem wasnt simple and might be under warranty.

I have been taking my car to Noel for the past 5 years and I have never felt like he has tried to talk me into unnecessary repairs. He is professional, courteous and does a great job. Always leaves my car neat with no grease on the seats! This is a fair company that you can trust to do the right thing.

Have a bad bearing, told me nothing was wrong. Told me I had a coolant leak even though i did my own coolant flush and I had no leak. Told me it could have been a vacuum but I tested my own vacuum and in normal tolerance before I brought it in. Also my car runs at 300rpm at idle when it needs to be between 600 to 800 normally. Said there was no idle problem. Also you can hear the bearing at 10 mph but they hit over 70mph and found no problems. The reason I know is I have a device plugged into my obd2 port and it showed that twice the car was turned on then idle for a few min then turned off. The others showed it was driving for about 12 min which at that point would have warmed up and showed the low idle. But there where no problems with my car I guess. The only reason I didnt do my own diagnosis is because I didnt have the time. I know there are a few problems because I already fixed a few problems and left the others. So I guess I will do it myself to make sure that the no problems get fixed.

I went in there about 4 weeks ago because my check engine light came on and my jeep was hesitating when I give it gas. My code reader said it was code P0404 which was an egr sensor. I scheduled an appointment and brought my jeep in. Even tho I told the lady at the front desk what the code and symptom was, she insisted they run their own diagnostics so they could pinpoint the issue. I decided to play their game and let them run a diagnosis and it came back with nothing because I erased the code. So she told me to come back when the check engine light came on and they wont charge me again for their diagnosis. So I came back a week later with the check engine light on, they ran the diagnostics, and low and behold they got the same information I already gave them. It was a code p0404. So she told me once again to return the next week because apparently even tho I scheduled an appointment they only had time to run the scan. I came in a week later. My third visit they once again insist that they must run the diagnosis. So I said go for it. I come back after eating breakfast and my jeep was in the parking lot (each visit they never called me to tell me they were finished) and so I ask if they fixed it. The lady once again tells me they couldnt do anything because the code wasnt there... the code that she erased the week before. I didnt question her any more I just left. Im down a little over $100 because of their games and my jeep had got progressively worse over the course of those 3 weeks. Thats my experience with these guys so I will never return to this shop.

We called yesterday and got an appt this morning. We had our vehicle fixed and we picked it up in less than 2 hours. We love this shop as the workers and owners are so honest and friendly. I recommend D and L automotive to anyone that needs their car repaired. Great work! Thank you.

I would like this company for being so patient and understanding. I had several medical, family, and Financial problems hit me all at once. I couldnt pay for repairs right away and they were amazing. I was trying to help my mom get her car fixed. Shes been walking to the store or wherever she needs to go. Shes getting older so I had to do it! But then everything fell apart for me in my life. I couldnt thank the owners of this company enough. As soon as I can walk again its one of the first things Im doing.

We have two vehicles, both 2002 with 135,000 miles. Both have been serviced and maintained only at D&L. If you have a mechanical or service need Noel and his team can be trusted to diagnose and repair the need with speed and quality workmanship.

Polite, courteous, and when the unemployment gal was late getting there to pay for service they stayed open till she got there to pay. highly recommend and will go back myself.

My water pump failed en route to camping at Lake Cushman. Noel (the shop owner) worked his tail off to get it fixed in a day despite being first sent a broken part. He helped me and my kids find a hotel for the night and even ferried us back and forth. A lifesaver! And the final price came in under the original estimate (which I would point out to the other reviewer is called anestimate for a reason). Outstanding service,
