Rude and unhelpful. I live near this establishment and I needed a belt. I called to inquire of they had it and the lady that answered was not helpful and just referred me to the website. Due to the quarantine they were not taking walk in customers, which I understand. So I found the part on their website and called back. I asked that if I paid for the part over the phone if they would mind setting it outside the door and I would pick it up. The lady took my name and number. She said she would find out and call me back. A couple hours passed, and by this time I knew that she had no intention of calling back so I called her. She was very rude when she realized who it was and told me to just order it. I attempted to explained that the shipping was too high since I only live a couple miles from them but before I could she hung up on me. I like to try to support local businesses but I will drive out of my way to avoid this place.

Do not do business with these people. Rude does not capture there attitude.I ordered a part and a week later got an email that it was out of stock. I called and was told that their web site is only a big catalog, that it is used to look up parts and they dont have everything in there. They say that the web site has a notice. I went back and looked at it. the only notice is that if a price is not shown they do not have it. GUESS what! the part I ordered still has a price!! even after 2 weeks it is still thereRun away, run fast, run far..

I would HIGHLY recommend avoiding this company when possible. After sending me a defective product, they told me repeatedly they would call me back and never did. Then, 7-10 days after they told me they were sending me the defective part I called to check on the status -- they had never mailed it! At this point, I was highly frustrated and mailed the entire 80 pound package back at my own expense, which was very expensive. Even after verifying that the equipment they shipped me was defective, it took four more phone calls to get a credit issued. In addition, some of the staff is quite rude. There is no way I would ever do business with these people again!

As listed by Cub Cadet this company services and performs warranty work on all CUB CADET PRODUCTS.I took my recently purchase cub cadet trimmer for warranty work as authorized by Cub Cadet. Upon arriving to Smiths, I was told by the lady behind the counter, We do not perform warranty work on Cub Cadet Trimmers, hmmmmmmm, they sell these but wont perform warranty work authorized by Cub Cadet.I was told if I wanted to pay for parts they would help me, why pay for parts under full manufacturers warranty.I contacted Cub Cadet again while sitting in the Smith Equipment parking lot, they were very unhappy and stated they would investagate, in the mean time Cub Cadet offered to send me a complete head for my trimmer even though it only needed a small part. My compliments to Cub Cadet themselves for making things right.As a company (Cub Cadet) I would pull my name from this company as well as my equipment for refusing to assist a customer.They offered nothing but to alloy me to purchase or pay for repair.

Ordered part and was a week later the order was canceled. I was not notified until I called looking for the part in the mail - I was then told it was an over sight and parts were all re-called. but I could get them locally from my dealer. Because she said they were shipped bad parts and no one else
