My teen son comes here for guitar lessons and we bought a beautiful guitar for him from this store. They are wonderful people with excellent choices. They worked with us on guitar payments which was so awesome! I definitely recommend this place! My son loves it and my husband will be buying his guitar here and getting lessons eventually too.
My son and I went in today 5/2021 and met an amazing woman. She let him bring in his new/used guitar and sat with us while he tuned it. She was so nice and explained so many things to us. She was super helpful. It is a drive from tulsa but we will be visiting often. Thank you.
I have always had a great experience here! I jam with them every Friday night and the owners have become great friends of mine. I read the 1 star reviews and it seems sketchy that there are 3 of them that say the same thing. Sounds like badgering to me.
Disappointed by my first impression. I went here because I was interested in both buying a guitar and getting lessons. Went in - the guy didn’t even say hi to me for several minutes even though I was the only customer in the store. Finally he stopped picking out “E.T.” on the keyboard and said hi as he sat down to start “jamming” on a guitar. I asked him about his store and he gave a one sentence grunted answer about how they were trying to get things going then kept playing. I browsed some of the guitars then was going to try one out. It was out of tune so I started to tune it. Guy couldn’t even stop his loud jamming long enough to let me tune the thing. I decided to take another tack. I asked him if they gave lessons. He said, “yeah, I do advanced and my fiancé does beginners.” I waited. No further information, no offer to get me signed up - instead he starts “jamming” again. I look at some other guitars, beginning to wonder if this guy just hates selling things. Finally I just walk near him and look at him expectantly, the way a customer does when they’re politely wanting your attention. More jamming. So I left, and I’m about to head to the “other place” here in Shawnee right now. Maybe he was just having a bad day.
These guys are awesome super friendly I will definitely be coming back who ever says this place is bad has bad tast they would never do anybody wrong Ive bought several guitars and amps from them and Ive never been disappointed thanks guys you guys rock
Neat guitar store nestled in downtown Shawnee owned by OBU alumni! They have guitars, ukuleles, drum sets, and accessories, and offer repair services. In addition to selling equipment, they offer valuable services to the community like jam sessions and rehearsal space rental. Pleased to have this in Shawnee!
A well organized, friendly, and inviting space to either shop or jam! Looking forward to my next visit!!
