Have always had amazing customer service at the Shakopee store. Today I worked with Mark and he was a pleasure to deal with even with the store being VERY busy!
All the guys who work in this store are All mid age tools. They are strait up losers I swear to God! Every time I go in this store it’s depressing!Never will I go back in to this store ever again!!

Mark was awesome! He was attentive and really understood what I was looking for, and asked questions to help fine tune my service. When a device I was bringing to Verizon wasnt compatible unexpectedly, Mark was incredibly helpful and directed me to a current deal for the brand I asked for, and I never felt pressured. He seemed genuinely interested in making me happy and he definitely succeeded! I live an hour away but had other errands to run in Shakopee, and Id definitely go out of my way to get Marks help again!

No one even greeted me when I came in. Stood around for about 10 minutes without any worker saying anything, not even an Ill be right with you.
I went in for an upgrade with my boyfriend who was then going to take over my old phone. Charlie was wonderful! He made the process extremely smooth. My phone took a little longer than I had thought (thanks 29,000 + photos), and he was great to talk to. He was very personable yet professional. He also knew exactly what to recommend. You HAVE to go to this Verizon store! Hands down the best customer service I’ve ever experienced! The store has a welcoming vibe the minute you walk in. I worked with Mark & Jay- both men were so easy to work with, professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Jay even drove to the Chaska store to pick up the space grey 256g iPhone 11 Pro for me which was above & beyond and I appreciated that so much! It was so sweet to watch how patient they were with the senior citizens that came in with phone issues too! It definitely takes a special person to deal with that level of explanation. Can’t say enough great things about this experience - do yourself a favor and go here for all your phone needs! They are truly the best of the best and make phone issues a breeze to deal with! Never have I had better service at any cell phone store. I had very strange issues with all 5 phones I purchased. It really upset me because other then the strange problem I had with the phones I loved them. Back to the store I went. The thing I always keep in mind is if I am a good customer, I will get better service and the employees behind the counter are more likely to help me become a happy customer. Cell phone issues can take time to resolve, its just the nature of the devices. It did take some time to get things worked out, as I expected, but I cannot say enough good things about all the employees that pitched in and helped my family, especially Jay. They all went above and beyond to resolve the issue and i could not be happier. Best experience i have ever had at a cell phone store. I always live by remembering this.. a good experience is more likely to happen, even from a bad situation if I treat the people that are there to help me with the utmost respect and that is exactly what happened. Did it take time... Of course it did, but I would suggest this store to absolutely everyone. I am now extremely happy with my phone and so is my whole family. That all has to do with the employees at this store. Cant thank them enough!!!

I was having trouble setting up my phone with the prepaid card I bought. So I decided to go to a Verizon store for help. Dylan got my phone up and running in no time. He was super helpful and did a great job helping me fix the problem. Now I gotta figure out why I can’t send text messages to android phones?! Hmmm!!!

Wow! This was the best customer service I have received in years. If you go there have Jay help you. If he is not available they are all very capable but Jay is the one that helped us the most. We had to go there twice but it wasnt his fault it was ours. Both times we were there he was going above and beyond to help us. He should be employee of the month or year or whatever they do for their employees. Great job!

I got my original phone from them, but they were also willing to help with my insurance replacement when it wasnt working. Excellent multitasking and service when there was 1 person working and multiple customers. Im just very thankful to have had a functioning phone when having left the store to get calls and texts. There have been some stores with better customer service than others and this store is excellent.

My visit took 3 hours to transfer lines and purchase two new phones. Also, this store will tell you that you can come to their stores to use a device that will get water out of your phone should you happen to drop it in water. However, they never tell you it’s $30 per phone. I don’t need to pay for this as I don’t want to use your redux device, shouldn’t your sales associate advise people it will cost them? The experience at this store was less than pleasant.
I could not have had better service than what Scott T provided. Scott helped me order a phone, put the glass protector on it, activate it, and ship it to my son in CA. Scott was knowledgeable, friendly, and patient. I hope he is still there when its time to get another new phone!

I went in back in July for an Apple Watch and to update info on my account. I cannot remember the name of the man that helped me, he was very kind. The other male there standing behind the counter with him on the other hand seemed misunderstood about what I was asking. At the time I was attempting to get the discount on my bill for being a volunteer firefighter. He stated to me in a snarky way that i couldn’t get one because I was “just a volunteer firefighter”. I bit my tongue and left after the nice employee and I were done with my purchase but without the addition of the discount on my bill. I didn’t want to give a bad review prior cause the one employee helped me and was very kind. But it’s still 6 months later weighing on me. Fire is fire and cardiac arrest is still cardiac arrest, I just don’t get paid for my response. I will continue to give verizon my service, but I hope maybe this gets seen and the employee can understand that it’s still the same job regardless of paycheck or not.

I bought the iphones recently at this store and was charged $20 for Set Up and Go Plus for each phone. Therefore total of $40 was charged on my bill for Set Up and Go Plus on 2 phones. The Sale Rep was not very transparency on this fee. I wasn’t aware or understand of this fee for. I assumed the bill was just for taxes on the phones. It would be helpful in the future, if the Sale Rep would disclose all of the fees beforehand so that customers are aware of these fees. I will not go back to this store.
Waited for close to 40 mins to pay my bill and get a phone upgrade for my wife’s phone for her bday. Sat there, walked around, and nobody acknowledged our presence. Not even a simple “hello. What brings you in today?” Nothing, there was a person who couldn’t be assisted cause he didn’t have the head of the account phone, but they kept trying by calling whoever they needed and asking if they got a code, but nothing. Secondly, there was a mother and son who had a mishap with his phone and they brought it in to get a new phone or something. The two continued to work with them and ignore our presence, and finally after 30-35 mins the guy who was helping the mother and son asked what we came in for, first initiation of contact since we been there, and i told him that we want to upgrade my wife’s phone and pay my bill. It took 5-8 mins to get what we went in there for done, could of been done between the visits of the person who couldn’t get his phone serviced or when the guy who working with the mother and son had to update their phone. I give them my business monthly and never had an experience like that before, but it hits different when your not taking as a priority. We could of left, maybe we should have, but it was something I wanted to for my wife. We got our business taken care of in less than it took for them to actually notice us. Smh, I hope this is the only time we experience this type of situation.
Horrible overall experience, after long wait times we were up-sold for products we had already declined for a good 30 minutes. Sales people panic customers about their devices to sell more expensive plans and products. Have started driving 20 minutes further to get a better experience.
Walked in for a quick question. Stood there for over 10 minutes and never once was even acknowledged. The guy working at the counter was with a customer, I totally get it, but at least acknowledge my presence. I ended up just walking out and he didnt even lift his head.

I had a horrible experience with this store. I had purchased a recalled Note 7 and they kept telling me that it was safe to use the phone until a replacement arrived. Even though the recall stated, Since the affected devices can overheat and pose a safety risk, we are asking consumers with an original Galaxy Note7 or a replacement Galaxy Note7 to power it down and contact the carrier or retail outlet where you purchased your Galaxy Note7.It had been weeks since Samsung had phones available and they still hadnt replaced my phone. FAA said not to fly with the phones and I had a trip planned. There were repeated news reports of damage and injuries.They also said unless we had all accessories and original boxes, we would be charged restocking fees. Pretty sure its illegal to restock a recalled phone and to charge a consumer for a federally recalled device. I complained to Verizon Corporate. I hope this store loses its Verizon affiliation. Dont shop here unless you like being taken advantage of and treated poorly.
$20 set up and go fee is this store only. That was not explained as they called it an activation fee which i was ALSO charged by verizon so doubling the activation fees. A little transparency would have been appreciated as i will not be coming back to this location.
Big store. One or more of their employees is exceedingly qualified.Ive been with Verizon for more than 7 years. I had to keep 1 daughter on ATT because the higher ups at Verizon were stupid.The change back to Verizon was good because their employee new how to get the job done.

Some of the worst service I’ve ever gotten.Bought a new phone, said I wanted a screen protector.. it took the guy probably a half hour to do it with no word of what was going on. Also wasn’t told that the protector was SIXTY dollars?? Why would I think/know it would be that much? (P.S. you can get the same one on amazon for 20....)Then he added insurance to my plan WITHOUT my consent, and I did NOT have it on my plan previous to going there. When I went back the next week to get it taken care of, he says “it was wrapped up in the new total I told you”.. that’s f’ed if you ask me. I’m supposed to know how much my new bill would be on the spot? No.Will never be going back.. and if I were you, I would run as fast as you can from this place.

If you want to be treated with disrespect and want to lose your time and accomplish nothing this is the right store for you. Justin (Assistant Manager) was very rude when asking him about options for my situation. My Turbo2 died and Im still paying for it, so basically I had no option but buying another phone. My wife asked about a 2x1 promotion on the Galaxy S9 phone and Justin said that it only applied for new lines - to which I reply So, if I cancel my line and give up my number and add a new line to our family plan we could get the promotion, right? to what he very rudely answers That is fraud, and we do not do fraud here, you could go to Best Buy or Target if you want to do that. He obviously ignores the definition of Fraud, I have the right to cancel any of my lines as I please and also to add new ones. After that, I didnt say anything else and we left the store without anything. Im emailing corporate about this.

Went here the other day to finally be able to activate my new iPhone I spent all day driving to get from someone online, staff was inattentive, rude, and when they found out I was just there for a simple service, not a new phone sale, they tried squeezing a $25 fee out for the service and later dismissed me. If youre not there to buy and feed their commission, dont count on them to help. Clearly others feel the same. Avoid this store.
Quite disappointed! Ive been a Verizon customer for years and have never experienced the lack of help as I did tonight at your shakopee location. I guess I should have read the other reviews But on the other hand, why? I shouldnt have to read these negative reviews. I should be able to walk into any Verizon and get the help Im used to. Im having issues when I make phone calls. My phone is at the point of the screen going black/blank when I try to make a phone call. I have no screen or abiity to see the dialpad.. so what does the sales associate do? Hands me my phone and tells me to dial 611 and ask for tech support. None of your associates had name tags on and my husband was too annoyed to bother finding out.. tonight is the first time Ive questioned myself and my loyalty to Verizon.

They gave me a “free” android tablet that I did not want. Found out I paid a $40 activation fee and $10 a month for a new line for two years. Tried charging me $175 to cancel the line. What a scam!
This is a Victra Store NOT a Verizon Corporate Store. Victra charges you for everything. Victra charges me $10.00 for a SIM cards, if I would have gone to a corporate store it would have been free of charge. Victra charged me a set up and go fee of $20.00. If I would have set it up over the phone or at a corporate store if would have been free. PLEASE GO TO THE CORPORATE STORE IN EDEN PRAIRIE.
Existing customers will get no help at this location, and the reps are reluctant to solve your situation. They are only interested in selling you new equipment and new plans. Go to a corporate location!
Today is the second time I’ve been in the store and they haven’t been able to help me. And for the same reason they couldn’t help me before. They are not a corporate Verizon store, they are an authorized retailer. I bought a premium screensaver with a lifetime warranty with my phone at a Verizon store in Burnsville. It cracked so I came in to get a new one. They said I have to go back to the actual store where I bought it because they don’t have the same products that all the Verizon stores have. In his words, “The store in Burnsville is an actual Verizon corporate store we are a premium retailer.” If you’re going to put a 10 foot wide Verizon sign on your store you should be able to do all the things corporate Verizon stores can do. Like honor a simple screen saver warranty replacement. I do wish we had an actual Verizon store in Shakopee. Not just one that calls themself one.
Great customer service
Stay away from this store. They are scammers who place charges on your invoice without your authorization. They ask for passwords, claim that the upgrade is taking about an hour so if you have shopping to do, come back then. Ya right Ill give you my passwords and leave all my info for you to steal while I am gone.
The store was well maintained, and the clerk was helpful but he didnt seem very nice.
This was one of the worst stores I’ve ever been in. Tried to upgrade my phone and have insurance on it, but because I had a crack I would have to pay 589 dollars instead of 190, didn’t even offer an explanation. Don’t go to this Verizon store or get the insurance because Verizon insurance is an oxymoron.

Went there 9/28/16 for help installing sim card in my new Galaxy s6. A short man, with facial hair, informed me I couldnt use my current sim from my core prime phone. I told him I got he phone from ebay, he immediately stated it isnt our phone. He gave me attitude when I pointed out its Verizon logo on the back. He stated that didnt matter, its not our phone.He stated I needed a new sim card, $25, with my account info on it. I hesitantly agreed, gave him my info, SSN but forgot password. He then had me on the phone to reset my password, as he couldnt get into my account without it. I sat on hold for 15 minutes, and never spoke to anyone. I finally left with no results.The next day I went to another Verizon store and received courteous support, with no attitude, phone calls or money spent.All i had to give was my name, no SSN or password, or $25

BEWARE --- We bought phones on Dec 3rd, 2013 and we were sold on one of the Protection Programs by Global Warranty Group and the staff has no clue what they are selling! We were told and given a brochure that states it is a deductible of $125 if something happens to your phone. Easy right $100 a yr...Yeah right I accidentally dropped my phone and my puppy grabbed it and of course the phone is cracked by the sensor and down the screen. I went in to the Verizon in Shakopee on 1/5/14 and next thing I am told is Global Warranty requires a $301.00 hold on your cc and you have to pay $75.00 deductible for the phone. They simply NDA a reconditioned phone, email a pre-paid label and the $300 is credited back ASAP. Well still I have no phone, my money is on hold and Global Warranty still has not called me back, no email..it has now been over a week. I did not even get a call back from Josh I had to drive to the store for anyone to talk to me and try and get help. I strongly suggest sticking with a corporate Verizon. Look online for the locations. Also, look at reviews online for this Global Warranty Company they are not good.

If you can get an associate to help you, (usually they dont have what you need, or every answer is nope dont have it or nope, I dont know). I dont know what it is about this particular store but its really an awful Verizon store.
