Horrible customer service from a manager named Shawn. Called in about a product lookup and all he did was argue his viewpoint of my request, despite being instructed by the manufacturer to call and request this information before buying. I was on the phone for over 10 minutes while he persistently went back and forth with me over a question that took him less than 30 seconds to answer (when he finally went and looked). He then proceeded to let me know that it was just him and one other person working, which Im sure is why he didnt want to go look for me in the first place. I understand the times were living in, as well as the disadvantages to being understaffed. But no manager, clerk, cashier, whomever should ever take on an argumentative and disgruntled demeanor because of it. Completely unprofessional and rude. He couldve politely let me know that they are understaffed and unable to go look for items on the sales floor. I appreciate an honest reply, but not at the cost of poor customer service.

Great selection of fabrics and crafts! I enjoy going here, the staff are friendly and helpful. Especially on types of fabrics to use for projects. A few quilt tops I have done in the last few months.

Date of Visit: 12/15/2018 - Dropping my rating from 3 stars to 2 stars because I had to use the restroom while shopping at this location today and let me tell you... I wish I hadnt! It was FILTHY!!!Date of Visit: 10/30/2018 - Very unimpressed with customer service and store organization/cleanliness. I was not once greeted by a sales clerk-not even the cashier! She just grabbed my stuff, scanned it, and then read me the total. Additionally, the store was crowded, lots of boxes everywhere with items that needed unpacked and put away! Hard to navigate and lots of trip hazards. Thank goodness Im not a 300+ lbs. individual, as I wouldnt have been able to fit through some of the aisles (including the center main aisle) in the store!

They could use more help with checkout. The cashier was very friendly and quick but there were quite a few people in line.

New remodel is fantastic. Friendly people as always.

The reward coupons are deceiving. They say you can use them on on anything but then at the checkout, it turns out that you cant.

They have bins full of stuff marked 60% off. However you get to the checkout and they dont ring up 60% off. Said the item was in wrong spot. But there were a lot of the same items in the bin I was looking in. So this has happened to me at this store more than once. Time to find a different craft store.

I went here to get some fabric for my Mom to make some face masks and the price were pretty reasonable. Forty to 50% off on most items and I also got multiple coupons to use for using the app as well. Overall it was a good experience. Recommended.

Not enough staff in busiest times. They placed a nice lock on hanging items that require staff to unlock; in reality all I had to do is tear the item off and purchase. Cashier didnt even ask how I got the item off. Its probably the most stupid implementation of security. I know that they can do better.

Drove from Lakeville after confirming that the item I needed would be available in store only to arrive and no one was able to locate the 5 yards of fabric I needed. Call ahead, dont trust the online inventory. Staff was friendly and otherwise store was upkept. Parking lot was in dispair.

I went in here for some knitting supplies. The store was a typical store and I found about half of what I needed. The girl working the counter was nice but clueless as well about something as simple as loom knitting hooks. She thought I meant crochet hooks. But not a bad store.

Verbally humiliated by the female cashier! Was told loudly to stand back from register and to move back about 20ft!! Social distance is 6ft not 20ft. Because of your actions little lady you cost the store $75 in gift cards I was planning to buy and approximately $55 in merchandise I was going to purchase. Never again!

Didnt have the fabric I needed, but Ill check again in summer. They had more than I needed in craft/spring decor though! Always something great at JoAnn Fabric.

Very friendly staff but this store does not carry wooden stamps and has almost nothing for scrapbook/card making supplies. I am happy with the envelop maker but they did not have embossing powder. It is a great place to get fabric and sewing supplies.

Love this store! If you love doing arts and crafts like me, this is the store to go to! They have so many crafty items as well as decor for your house. Plus they always have coupons! And who doesnt like coupons!?

LOTS of fabric, my girlfriend loved picking out different pieces for DIY baby blankets. Polite & helpful staff, clean store, abundant parking, nice atmosphere.

As far as Joann Fabrics stores go, this one always feels small and disorganized. I go in frequently to grab something quickly for a craft, and it always takes much longer than anywhere else. Things are difficult to find quickly. That being said, they have a good variety of fabrics - best in town. They have a little bit of everything.

Nicely organization. Bolts of fabric standing upright, easy to grab and replace. So much better than Apple Valley Joanns. I found some really pretty fabrics here at Shakopee. Ill b back.

It is a nice JoAnns. Its just not super huge. Seemed to have all the stuff you would find at a regular JoAnns. I couldnt find a pattern I was looking for. But they did have choices. Lots of quilting supplies that were directly inside the door. They did have yarn, embroidery supplies, sewing machines, thread, buttons, sewing baskets, upholstery material. Not much in the way of Christmas decorating materials. Which is nice to see. Especially so early in the year. There were a sufficient amount of employees walking around. The cashier was very nice! They did have a good sized cutting desk for material cutting services. I really like the signage up high in the store! It was easy to find the self checkout area too!! Nice to have those in your store! Not much in the way of $ deals at the checkout area. Very nice to see!! The Apple Valley JoAnns in Minnesota does too much of that.The only thing I would change is remove the empty shopping bag racks throughout the store. Overall, a very nice JoAnns for the size of the store!

I shop here all the time they have a HUGE selection of different fabrics, threads, yarn, you name it baking and cooking supplies. The employees are very nice, the store is clean and large

I had purchased some items on line from the local store. I had some questions since store is closed. Woman who answered the phone was so rude, not even let me speak and treated me bad!!! I like buying in there but, with this kind of person with attitude I will have to think twice about going in there!So disappointed!!!!!!!!

Great place, helpful, friendly and creative staff. I am knocking 2 full stars due to those stinky freaking pinecones. I know it is Corporates fault they send them to you by the pallet load but the make me SICK! I now have a headache and I left the store 20 minutes ago and I walked as quickly through the entry way as I could. Set those stinky things OUTSIDE and ban them in the store - its as bad as cigarette smoke!

They dont have a big inventory of different craft items. Several times i have tried to use their widely advertised 40 or 50 percent off coupons, only to be told at checkout that i wasnt able to use them on the regular priced items i was going to buy, or certain brand names dont apply.....AND it doesnt say that on the coupon, or have certain product exclusions on it either. Very disappointed. I wont be shopping there again.

I love the store and staff, but the fragrances by the door are so strong I cant even go in because of my fragrance allergy. My throat closes up and I cant breathe.
