Honestly at this point, I would give this dealership zero stars if I could. Which is relatively disheartening considering all the people that recommended we shop there....Bought a 2012 Tahoe from them that was supposed to have been serviced before it was sold, drove it a week and the truck became unusable. After contacting Yaklin they refused to service the vehicle I bought from them, with warranty. So after taking it to a Chevy dealer to attempt to have it diagnosed and try to make a warranty claim, were handed a mile long list of problems with the vehicle...that were supposedly serviced prior to selling the vehicle to us. Here I sit 5 months later, with a vehicle that has spent far more time in the shop, than outside of it. A vehicle that had literal shattered spark plugs and runs on a grand total of 4 of 8 cylinders.....After countless attempts to speak with someone about this, our constant answer we get is oh we will look into all of this and call you back this has been their reply a total of 13 times. Today we get a call that in short, they are not willing to do anything to rectify the vehicle that was sold to us. Funny, they couldve had a life long customer by just taking care of the customer and not acting like a shade tree establishment. Now, I will personally ensure that no one I know personally, purchases a vehicle from this place.Paperwork has been filed with the Attorney General and legal avenues researched. So to keep this relatively short, If you are reading this...buyer beware....DO NOT purchase a used vehicle from Yaklin unless you are prepared to bring someone along with you to certify the vehicle is even worth purchasing (which normally I would my self but was not in the position to do so at the time of purchase.) It is a crying shame when a business wont even consider making an effort to keep a customer loyal. Honestly, even with someone to look over the vehicle after this experience, I personally will not shop there on principle.

My experience with Yaklin was amazing! The customer service was on point,the manager Dalton was wonderful to work with and, my salesperson Katelynne was so knowledgeable and attentive. I would most definitely purchase from this dealership again, if they hadnt sold me my dream car! Ha!! I highly recommend this dealership!! Never do business here again. Issues from day one when buying our truck. Now cant even get ahold of them to schedule a service. Found a place that cares.ADDED TO YOUR RESPONSE: You all have cell phones. I had a question before I wanted to schedule. I left a message with your online person and they were going to have someone call me which never happened. But all is good. Found a new place.

This has been by far one on the worst experience I have had buying a vehicle. Initially I had seen my vehicle on an ad online. I purchased a Chevrolet truck. When I went in to purchase the vehicle it had a grill guard just like the ad stated I test drove it and loved it. The next day I went it to do the paperwork. I asked to see the vehicle and to my surprise it no longer had a grill guard. I was told it would be an additional $500 to put it on I asked why since on the ad it was advertising with the grill guard on. The salesman told me he would ask his manager and was able to get it back on for free. Had I not said anything they would have charged me.it has now been well over 4 months an to top things off when they did put on the grill guard the sensors were loner working and I have been waiting 3 months to get it fixed and they keep giving me the runaround and will not get it fixed worst experience ever!

I purchased my 2021 Jeep Cherokee from Dustin at Yaklin in Sequin. From the moment I told Dustin what I was looking for, he was right there from beginning to end to ensure all my questions were answered and I drove away with the model I wanted and most importantly at the price I wanted. He was very personable and caring and listened to my concerns. Dustin was very knowledgeable and actually the whole process was very painless. Picking up my JEEP from service dept. Terry and the other service advisors do their best to assure customers needs are met and my car is being thoroughly inspected. Although sometimes it takes a little longer than expected, I dont mind as i know they are doing their best and rarely of ever have i had any issues regarding their work. I bought my JEEP brand new in 2008 and they are the only ones who have ever maintained it. I highly recommend them if you own a DODGE/CHRYSLER/RAM/JEEP/FIAT. A very satisfied customer!

Was offered one price. The price on the actual contract was different. Four different additional products added to the contract without my knowledge (gap insurance, extended service, whatever an appearance package is). The products were never explained or even mentioned. A single digital signature was collected and then copy/pasted onto multiple pages of the contract. Asked Finance to call me, they never did. Asked three times to have license plates mailed to me, they never did.I estimate that Ive been tricked into paying an additional $10,000. Youll probably be fine if you read every single line, ask about every single line, and make them print out the contract in store instead of emailing. But there are other more honest places to shop.

LEFT ME STRANDED for 3 days without any transportation or reimbursement for expenses I had.This Dealearship is by far the worst dealership that I have ever done buisness with. The owner does not know how to run his buisness at all. I bought a vehicle out of state and was doing a bank transfer they knew this and said that that was totally fine. They told me to fly in on Friday to pick up the vehicle when I arrived we began the process of signing papers and getting the vehicle once everything was signed they said how are you paying I told them by bank transfer. This is where all the trouble began. They said oh we can’t release the vehicle to you until the funds hit our account. Well because it was a weekend that wasn’t till Monday. Like what the heck. Dealerships release vehicle all the time when loans haven’t even cleared or if checks haven’t even cleared. The said we will put you in a hotel but that’s all we can do for you. They put me up in a motel smoker room that was absolutely disgusting and in the middle of nowhere even though there was nicer hotels right across the street. I asked if I could get a rental vehicle so I could get around and go see things in Texas they said no. They didn’t pay for any of my food or other expenses that I had due to this unexpected occurrence of being stranded in Texas. I was literally stuck for 3 days with nothing to do they wouldn’t take me anywhere they wouldn’t put me in a hotel closer to the city so I could walk places they just said sorry we can’t help. By far the worst customer service and nothing but not accommodating to any of my needs. Will never refer them to anyone and will never do buisness with them if you are looking to buy a vehicle from them rethink and go to a better dealer near by literally anywhere but there.

Service department the older guy with the glasses you need to do a better job. Rolling around your chair for 20 minutes, it doesn’t take an hour for the scanner to read codes homie. If you hate your job stop going. Worst experience ever! (Comic book guy voice) pay attention to what the customer tells you instead of asking the same question 80 times. Deceptive practices from the very start. Ran my wifes credit after being told multiple times not to. Told them we had a pre-approval thru our bank, they said great we work with them all the time. They did not contact the bank. They used a new app after running my wifes credit. Said they needed her info to connect to the pre-approved app with bank. Claimed misunderstanding by sales. Very suspect dealership. Will not do business with them again.

I called to confirm the price and availability on a car listed online before making the trip to complete the purchase. I was told the car was still available, but they would not be able to honor the manufacturer incentive of $4500 retail consumer cash or their own Yaklin Discount of $3765 if I did not go through their own financing as I have already been approved elsewhere. The price online was listed as $32,525 including these discounts which totaled $8,265 off the MSRP as part of there advertising within the description. Fair enough, I oblige and agree I would go through their financing as long as it matches or beats my pre approval, which the representative stated they would have no problem doing. The sales rep then quoted me $36,000 that included both discounts that was considerably higher than what was listed on their website. I asked why that was the best offer they could provide referencing the $32,525 they have the car advertised for to be told that they must have made a mistake on the online price. I was a motivated buyer planning to make this purchase, but I am glad I called to confirm these details before wasting my time being swindled in person after being baited by false advertising. Their website stills displays the incorrect pricing of $32,525 that the representative stated was incorrect.

I had bought several vehicles from this place when it had a different name. I have a small problem with my truck but a dangerous one and I was told that due to parts supply issues they would not even be able to look at my truck for over 2 weeks. Talk to Dalton the general manager and he tried to get the ball rolling but it is now nearly 72 hours since I asked to get my truck fixed and I have not gotten a call back on when to drop it off. I guess I will look for another dealer and I will update this review if they end up trying to do what they should be doing and fixing the vehicles they sell.

Katelynne is super polite and does everything she can to help her customers. i would definitely recommend getting a car from her!New rating: I had originally posted a 5-star review but NEVERMIND. Katelynne is only helpful when you’re in the process of buying the car, but not once the car has been bought. As soon as I got my used car from them the battery light immediately turned on and the people at Auto Zone said I wouldn’t even make it to the dealership to get it fixed so i ended up buying a new battery ($220) for the car i had just purchased. Katelynne said she would send me a reimbursement but it’s been weeks and still nothing. She ignores my emails. I even called the delearship wondering if she’s out on PTO but NOPE. She’s there, she’s just not responding to me. I am a low-income person who budgets all my money and $220 is a significant amount for me but she can’t be bothered to even update me on the situation. Meanwhile, I email Victor asking why he added on 2,000 to the cash price of the vehicle without telling me and he sent me a response that didn’t even make sense, and when i questioned him he also didn’t bother to respond. My emails have all been professional but I guess their customer service skills go out the window once they have your money.Since nobody will answer me, I left a voicemail to Mr. Yaklin asking for him to call me back so I can explain my situation. I’m sure he’ll be interested to hear about how unprofessional his employees are.So basically, don’t go here if you want anyone to answer your concerns, because they won’t bother to help you once you’ve signed the paperwork. Katelynne even told me that they knew the battery needed to be replaced but they had “forgot” to replace it, and now they won’t reimburse me. I paid for all the warranty but when i called asking about it someone told me that the car was “so new” that the warranty had not even started yet…???I am someone who is very patient and level-headed, and i can honestly say i’ve never been so frustrated. This has been a horrible experience and I just want my $220 back and an apology.P.S. my battery light is still on.

He persuaded that we was gonna look at a Honda and I was ok with that.After he quoted 458.00 as monthly payment I then go to the restroom and he shows my wife 519.00 on a used Ford smh worst part isnt even this .He never showed us a car at all my father in laws credit was better so we asked to use him .They ran his credit and still denyed us basically asking for a down payment trying hard to reach into your pockets. So my wife saw a car on the lot that she really liked. So we turned around to go look at it. After a few minutes of looking through the windows and the exterior of the car a salesman approached. My wife explained that she would like to see the inside of the vehicle. The salesman went and retrieved the keys. My wife had a few questions she wanted answered, but had already decided that she wanted the car. My wife asked the following: How much horsepower does the car have? The response she received was that its not much. The salesman proceeded to tell her that he drove the bigger, better version of this car and this car did less. He did not provide numbers, or even an educated guess. He only answered that it wasnt as good as the one he drives. She then ask the salesman how many foot lbs of torque does the car produce, and to our surprise he responded with the same previous response. This dealership lost not only a sale for that car, but for the farm truck we were looking at as well.

(Update almost 1 month with the new car): My new car’s battery died and was completely drained in less than a month. After consulting with 10 people, everyone thought I should contact the dealership. So when I did, I was told my car was not covered for a new battery. It’s a let down for sure.We were very well taken care of. There were no hidden fees, everyone was up front. Jovi, our salesman was super! Very friendly and funny, and personable. The whole process was fast, less than 3 hours. Great dealership and great service.

Pricing on the website was correct except $1800 upcharge for a dealer add on. However, the team was very clear and upfront with this unlike most other dealerships. Jovi did an amazing job made everything clear, understandable and fast. Eddie also provides exceptional phone support when I called to ask about current stock. Victor in finance didnt pressure me to buy unneeded add-ons. Dalton was able to find me a lower APR than my bank had promised for the same term. Skip San Marcos and all the other dealers, buy here. It is well worth the trip. I have not been paid to make these statements but I am open to the prospect :)

I was interested in a vehicle online priced at 13,685 after Jose Ybarra communicated back to me the price changed to 14,999. After Emails, texts and calls to me from Yaklin, I finally asked about the price change..From Jose.WE WILL HONOR THE ORIGINAL PRICE TAG I drove over 1 hour to the dealership and Jose pretended he knew nothing about me. Someone else helped me and my wife, and stated to park the car in the sold lot so we could get the vehicle sold to us. After dealing and negotiations he came back with 14,250 and stated they were going to sell it to another customer if we didnt pay more. The entire interaction was BAD and MANIPULATIVE!I asked what about HONOR what does HONOR means to Yaklin? Apparently, HONOR was not the best word to use.From the salesman after we started the process to purchase this vehicle.Dont waste your time driving to Yaklin in Seguin!

Shady! Dont trust them! Drove down to look at a new 1 ton. The salesman called about 8 am we told him we would be there between 11 & 11.30. we were also told truck would be ready for us. Washed and have fuel in it. When we arrived, the truck was nasty. Boxes in the back seat. And a nice scratch on back of cab. This dealer wont do its make ready. Ill make sure to steer anyone I can away!

My car recently stopped shifting gears. It was the shifting cable bushing that had broke once again. I was attempting to fix the part only to find out that it was a recall part that had to be fixed at a dealership. I took my car to the Yaklin dodge dealership in seguin. The staff was friendly but 4 days after my car started making horrible sounds. I pulled over and my front drivers wheel fell off. The lug nuts broke off into the wheel bearing. Dodge tells me they didnt take off my wheel to fix the part. The same day my ac/heater fan stops blowing. I had no issues with my car besides this cable bushing and as soon as I took it to the dealership to be fixed I came home with two serious issues. Definitely not a satisfied customer.

I just bought a 2020 Challenger from yaklin and the salesperson I worked with was named Jovi and he was unbelievably lopressor and very nice to work with I traveled an hour and a half just to use him I could have bought the same car much closer to my home however Jovie was so nice and even a Sheard me he would hold the car for me without a deposit of course he could tell I was very serious about buying the car the entire process was seamless and very easy he gave me locking wheel nuts so my wheels could not get stolen and expedited the process stress free I certainly would recommend calling Jovi and buying a car from him because he sincerely cares about the buying experience and also understands that the customers bottom line is whats most important I got a very good deal on my vehicle actually it was unbelievable because Im 66 years old and have had horrible experiences with dealerships this dealership is different than all the rest and one of the reasons is they have Jovi working for them he really rocks I know thats a pun once again thank you for everything and have a nice Christmas Joby made my Christmas

The customer service was outstanding. Upon arriving at yaklin we were greeted by Quinton he was not pushy he was very knowledgeable about the vehicle we test drove. So yes we did purchase the vehicle. Jacob was very awesome as well. These two guy get two thumbs up. Never in my life did I ever expect to buy a vehicle from yaklin. But these two guys made our first experience very good. And in the future I will be returning back as long as I can do business with these two guys. My Jeep sat there for a month and a half and was never touched. I called about once a week and the service advisor said they are having difficulty figuring it out. A couple days ago the service manager called and said it was ready to be picked up and asked him what was wrong with it. He said it was out of warranty and other excuses. HE then said he needed to pull the transmission pan and look at it, I told him that was done by another shop less than 30 miles ago. They pulled the pan and they said it was clean I explaind to him again that that had already been done.

When we arrived we were not greeted I actually went inside the sales office and went to the bathroom then walked back outside and back into the sales office and had to request for somebody to help me look at a vehicle which was over 10 minutes. There were no salesmen available at all. The individual that helped us and went on a test drive with us was not knowledgeable and to be quite honest did not seem very interested in convincing us to purchase a vehicle. I was extremely interested in a particular vehicle I saw online but will not be back to purchase it because of the horrible customer service experience.

The service department is ok. Sales is typical sales, playing the numbers game.I bought a 2020 3500 with a Cummins which turns out to have a fuel pump thats been giving people problems. Lots of reports that it isnt covered under warranty. Well see how Yaklin treats me if/when this fuel pump blows up.
