Jose was very kind and helped us get our 18 year old his first car, a 1999 Chevy S10. It runs great, lots of new parts, and making the transaction was not a hassle like any of my previous experiences. Jose knows his way around vehicles and engines and will get you into a new vehicle at a great price. Im a mechanic by trade and I highly recommend Vara Autoplex!

Price was fair for the vehicle and everything was great until the owner cracked my windshield replacing a mirror. Was told he would replace it since he was at fault. After he rescheduled a couple times he stopped returning my calls, voice-mails, and text. I ended up replacing it myself because it would not pass inspection. They probably are great people but not being a man of your word does not sit well with me. Will not go back for this reason.

My husband is a merchant mariner and was out on is ship when he found this amazing Ford excursion that he’s been looking all over for. He reached out to Jose who was so helpful and polite during all our interactions over email and crazy time differences. Then when I came up to see the vehicle, he made sure to reiterate what he had told my husband and to also answer all of the questions I had. Paperwork has never been my forte and I wasn’t looking forward to doing all of it without my husband there but Jose was just seriously so nice and thorough, couldn’t have asked for a better experience. He even reached out later to let me know when our plates should be arriving, he really took care of us the whole way through. I had been looking for a used car for my son for over 6 weeks. We drove up to DFW and south to S. Antonio after not finding a good deal on a used 4Runner in Austin. The big dealerships always gave you the same bait & switch tactics. Additional fees, etc. But Jose was different. He communicated with my son from Day 1, gave us a drive out price before we traveled the hour to Sequin, and was a pleasure to work with. No surprises. We had the car inspected by a professional service and the firm commented on how good of a condition the 14 vehicle we were looking at was in. Great working with Vara Autoplex. Although I didn’t end up buying due to timing and logistics, Jose was completely upfront and honest. He did everything he could on his end, was punctual and very responsive. Will be reaching out to Vara and Jose again in the future.
