We ordered feta fingers and a medium pizza, presentation was great and pickup time was about 20min. But it went down hill from there, we ended up with half Pesto- half Terminator instead of the intended half Pesto- half Mediterranean. The pizza was suuuper greasy, like see the sky in the reflection of the box greasy(pic), oh and an entire artichoke heart smack dab in the center of the slice. Not sure this is our type of place.

The onions and tomatoes were left off my sub sandwich. So it was just meat and cheese. Kinda a bummer.

Visiting Seattle & the area from IL, I actually chose this place because I was trying to find the pizza joint my friend went to when he was little. Unfortunately this was not it, but its the best pizza we have had so far and we have been to 3 local places.So flavorful, the cheese was really good, the pizza bread was delicious, my friends thought it could use more sauce but I like less so I loved it. We got just a regular pepperoni pizza and also some mozzarella sticks which were AMAZING, possibly the best Ive ever had. The marinara sauce was delicious too.I wish I could take this place back home with me. 2nd most expensive, but this one has come in 1st place for me.

I have been eating at Varlamos for a very long time and it never disappoints. Whether you are ordering out, dining in, or visiting the new bar, its always great. The best calzones in town!

This local pizza spot is hard to beat. The switch to counter service in response to Covid has created a safe and fun dining experience for the whole family. The food, as always, was exceptional.

Not impressed- Theres way better out there. If youve lived and discovered legit pizza on the east coast, and have something authentic to compare it to, youd know better.

Probably the best pizza place in the area. Kind of a thicker crust with tons of cheese and a lot of toppings to choose from. This is one of the few pizza places that has capers as a topping. Great bar great service great owner who will always come out and talk with you. Will be sending a Syracuse University football jersey to hang up in his establishment very soon. :)

The pizza was a little salty. The wings were juicy but they were not crisp on the outside and overly caked with seasoning. It wasnt bad but I definitely didnt feel this was their best.

3 stars for the food. I ordered online & they tried to short me on my food. I paid for mini pizza, spinach fingers, & two juices. The juices they gave me were not the juices I ordered and they told me nothing. Furthermore they forgot to prepare my spinach fingers. The host told me that those were not on the order. I showed him the receipt assuming he actually looked at the order recorded through seamless and he looked confused. He then told me it would be 20 minutes and asked if it was ok. I didn’t have a choice, y’all already took my money of course I’m going to get what I paid for. Terrible customer service experience. If the pizza wasn’t bomb, I would’ve given a 1 star.

Great quality Italian-American comfort food. I ordered one of the pan pizzas, and it was extremely delicious - sauce, cheese, dough all right on point. The starter salad was also tasty and very generous. Service was efficient, and the atmosphere/vibe the kind of non-pretentious family-run joint where you dine with friends/family without breaking the bank. Definitely worth a visit.

We come here for the calzones! Comes with a simple salad. Makes for a great weeknight meal that will have enough for leftovers! Generous with their toppings. Good, fast service, even with large groups.

I like Varlamos. The food is good. The service is good. They have a calzone thats the size of a football. I usually get the mini pizza and salad, its just enough for lunch. The food always comes out on time. They have sports going on the TVs and music going while you eat. Parking in that area is a bit tight but we always manage to find somewhere to park. Looks like they just remodeled and added a bar area as well. Always go back..

Quick service with great pizza, discount if you have a patient at the Childrens hospital. Pizza is deep dish style and delicious. I got two of the specialties which were fantastic. They also have a happy hour and bar area open after 4pm.

Been coming here for years. The people that work here could not be any nicer, they have all our orders memorized. The food is spectacular and we are eagerly awaiting the opening of their new bar area.

I have passed Varlamos everyday for over 6 years, and today we decided to stop in. While it was almost empty, it took several minutes just to be acknowledged by waitstaff. But, once we were seated, the service and food were wonderful! I absolutely loved my dinner and will go back soon.

We were here on vacation and this restaurant was right down the road from us. We got take out by ordering online which was quick and easy. The portions you get are huge and it was some of the best Italian food Ive had! If youre in the area I would definitely recommend stopping by!

Went here because I was nearby and looking for food with my family. At first it seemed pricey but the portion turned out to be about 3 meals worth for someone my size, so it was actually pretty great! The sub was tasty

Beat Calzones in Seattle! My family and I have been going here for years. It is a wonderful establishment with great customer service!

Ive been going to Varlamos for over a decade, and Im as big a fan now as a 30-something whos downing my weekly carb intake in one go as I was when I was a college student turning one calzone into lunch, dinner, then breakfast the next day. The food here, all of it, is just GOOD. Quality ingredients, recipes that have been perfected over time, and a quality beer selection to round out your meal. Combine that with a super staff, and you have a pizza joint Ill recommend to anyone whos listening.

Why is it so difficult to find good pizza in the Seattle area? It wasn’t by any means bad, but it taste like a pizza you would buy in a box at a grocery store and heat in the oven yourself.

I was invited to dinner at this casual, clean and cute pizza place. It was easy to find, has parking around the corner, tasty cocktails at the quaint little bar, friendly service and great food. The Monday night special of a HUGE calzone & salad for $ 8.95 was unbelievable. Ill be back!!

Very dissatisfied. I spent my entire lunch (30 minutes) waiting for the mini pizza cook, which didnt even come out how I ordered it. I asked for bbq chicken with pineapple & olives, & got hawaiian. Salad was lettuce & a single tomato wedge. Inside the restaurant was pretty slow too so its not like they were slammed. Not likely to come back since wait time was so long for such a small order.

I have had a number of fine experiences at this establishment, unfortunately tonight was not one of them. I was greeted by a very nice bus person who seated me at 9PM and gave me glass of ice water, much appreciated as I was on a bike this hot day. Next to me was a large party finishing their meal, and in the booth behind me was another party who got service. I was ignored for the next fifteen minutes by a tall young lady and a tall young man who I assumed to be the waitpersons, each of whom walked by me several times without acknowledging my eye contact or even my presence, or the menu I put on the end of the table indicating that I was ready to order. Im an older guy and I was sitting alone dressed in my bike commuter clothes. Still I found this to be a somewhat surreal circumstance, I felt like the invisible man. After the guy walked by me the fourth time and the young lady walked by me the fifth or sixth, I finally decided to just get up and leave. I walked past the woman on the way out and she at least said hi or something. I told her I had been seated, waiting to order for fifteen minutes, and she was very apologetic. I said thanks, went next door to Jaks Grill and received the great service and a fine meal like I always have there. I have lived in the neighborhood 20 years and cannot say this experience is typical of Varlamos, but it was definitely a Twilight Zone evening. I wont be back. Dr. Jeffrey A. Short

There pizza is phenomenal! Very generous with their toppings and cheese. A little on the pricey side, but if you want fancy pizza loaded with toppings its worth it.

Pizza so good! I made the mistake of having a slice while walking out with my pickup order. Pizza so good that I couldnt stop eating it hot out the oven. It was burning my lips, tongue, mouth and I believe I burnt my teeth and gums. -) So good.

The brand new bar is awesome.But the pizza tastes awful. Paul Newmans Frozen Pizza tastes better than Varlamos.

Nothing to brag about, it was extremely greasy. At around closing time staff doesnt want to do much. Damn near had to beg to get a pizza made for take out none the less. They acted like I owed them a tip. I worked in the service industry and lived off tips. Thats not a way too get tips for sure.

Pizza was awesome. One tip if you can help it do not sit in a seat facing the kitchen. I spent all night looking at all the awesome looking food come out and questioning my order. In the end I was very happy that I did get the pizza.
