When me and my mom visiting from Mexico went there the clerk said the two cards we used were decliend when we saw the transaction was successful, other staff member showed up and claim transactions were declined, so we paid in cash and upon calling the banks indeed the two cards were charged $135.19, our receipt for Cash purchase showed the transaction was actually through the card, so cashier took the cash for herself and charged us twice on the credit cards, now one of the banks is not returning us the 135.19 dollars.. Great this place should be called Pirate Thieves
Just a cute shop with lots of souvenirs.
The most rudest store employees ever! Once they have your money all customer service goes out the door. Far too many shops in the area to spend your money here, please support another local store who will appreciate your business!
I love this place. They have wonderful Pacific Northwest-themed items that are fun and of high quality (like soft t-shirts with prints from local artists and whimsical nautical housewares). I buy all my flannel pajamas here - more than I need because the selection is adorable.
Fun store to take in. Caters to kids and adults.Like the tee shirts!
I love this store! If you want to shop at a fun interesting place with a bunch of fun and playful items this is it. You never know what your going to find there. Plus the cute pirate baby clothes are great gift items
Great place to shop for all things Washington and Seattle,Gay pride memorable, and awesome skull clothing, even in plus size. The only reason I didnt give them 5 stars is because they took down their website, which sucks for those of us who dont live in Seattle!
Cute store with touristy items and Washington souveniers right right near the water the Great Wheel of Seattle. My boyfriend and I stopped in for a couple of shot glasses as gifts for friends ($4 - $6 each) and some postcards to send home to our parents (4/$1.00).The woman working was very nice (VPatel was her name on the receipt). Prices were reasonable and they had a good selection of items for sale.
Awesome pirate themed souvenir shop. Great place for people to shop here.
I have been here many times over the years and every time it has been a pleasant experience. Someone posted a review saying something about them being racists? Ummm My adopted son who is obviously a person of color as well as many others who are as well, work and shop there so Im not sure what that is about... pirates plunder is clean, fair priced, and the staff are always helpful and smiling... While your down there, check out the Ye Old curiosity shop.. both are fun and interesting shops
I was charged 95.00 from this store, I live in CA, I have NO IDEA how they got my cc number. I have called 75 times, I am NOT KIDDING, they do not answer and the mail box is full. I do not know what this is all about and I am hoping that they see this and will respond to me. I have disputed the charge and cancelled the credit card, something is VERY OFF with this company.
Fun place to be around the Seattle waterfront. Lots of places to eat delicious food
Fun place to pickup pirate themed items along with tons of other Seattle branded souvenirs
Very amazing. I couldve spent all my money there!
Lots of fun stuff in this store, even my husband, who isnt fond of shopping, found lots of little items he wanted to take home.
This was my nephews first time leaving his home state and cruising around Seattle with family. Visiting this gift shop was the only negative notch on our mini adventure. I havent left many Google reviews and the fact that my fiancé previously did regarding our trip here may speak to the level of disappointment we encountered when stepping into your shop for a mere few minutes. Wearing our crab hats from the nearby restaurant, the silly, novelty pens here that feature pinching crab claws when clicked were a great addition to a quick vacation video and/or photo w/ my nephew. We didnt even have a moment to snap a photo before a voice from around the corner told us to stop clicking them and that its annoying. I couldnt see the person speaking, so I walked around the corner to determine whether someone was messing with us, it was another shopper, employee, etc. It was an employee near the counter. I kind of let it sit for a moment and then walked back to ask for her name. She said it was Valerie and immediately asked, Why? Are you going to report me? I replied with, Yes. That was incredibly rude. She then explained thats not what the pens are for and again reminded us that we were being annoying. I get it. Maybe the clicking is annoying, but I am fairly certain a kitschy pen that has pinchers on one end is meant for more than just writing. Its meant for enjoyment and goofiness that involves a little clicking every now in then. Perhaps she was having a bad day (we all do), perhaps she had even heard those pens clicked hundreds of times already that day, but as a manager you are held to a higher standard and at the very least are expected to remain professional and courteous. She exhibited none of these attributes and instead acted in a very childish manner. We were actually quite surprised when we grabbed a card on the way out titling her as a manager. This is a gift shop in a tourist-laden area. If you cant get onboard with a little frivolity and families snapping memories then perhaps you need to re-evaluate your position or stay behind the scenes where you wont encounter more annoying customers.
Super cool, kitchy store with very nice staff! Great time browsing here and some prices were reasonably cheaper than other souviner spots around the same area.
Family came from halfway across the country to visit and all they could talk about was how polite everyone was... Then we went to Pirates Plunder... had a great dinner at the crab pot and after we went to do som gift shopping. My fiance and her nephew had purchased crab hats at the restaurant and while at Pirates Plunder they spotted pens with crab pinchers that clicked together when you pressed the button. They both grabbed two of them and click and clacked toward me in a brief moment of goofiness. I was going to get a quick phone video for memories but the moment was interrupted with an employees voice saying The pens arent for clicking, thats very annoying! My fiance and I both stopped and had to take several moments to figure out if the person that said that was indeed an employee. The funny thing is that I had just overheard that particular employee speaking to another co-worker about someone else being unprofessional. My fiance asked her what her name was and she said it was Valerie. And quickly followed it up with, why you going to report me? As if she was well aware of the fact she was incredibly rude. But she was right, that was our intentions exactly. I grabbed a card from the front counter only to find it was Valeries card and she is the manager. I guess the next best thing to do is write a review because she is clearly unprofessional and the type of person that will do what she can to cover up any complaint we submit if she has the capability. I know this sounds like a very small problem but her attitude was enough to be a buzzkill for our entire family during our visit. It was a shame because the store showed potential to have several good gifts that we would have purchased but it was so simply ruined by someone with poor and rude social skills that somehow slithered her way to management... wont be back, thanks for the memories.
This is not a costume shop! Google has it listed incorrectly. Its a novelty/tourist/gift shop, and its incredible. A fun place to stop along the waterfront
It is a fun little novelty store with knick nacks.
Great souvenir shop: great selection, good prices, friendly service. All Seattle visitors should make a point to stop by for your souvenir shopping.
Fun store with some very entertaining products.
Always one ofy favorite stops while visiting! Decent prices and excellent selection!
Pirates, mermaids and Bigfoot oh my. Crowded but nice, didnt feel hassled and I had little kids with me
Racist. If youre a person of color please do not support businesses on Pier 58. #piertrump
Good place for souvenirs
Typical tourist destination. Little pirate stuff
Typical souvenir shop, but had a very off putting odor to it.
I tried to walk in just now. The girl saw us approaching the store and she locked the door 10 minutes early. 1/18/2018 at 7:51 pm.
Most racist experience ever!
Great selection
I really liked this place.
