Super charming, friendly small business. Lots of HiFi stuff crammed in there. A small selection of records to browse. Got my turntable repaired there. Belt swapped out in minutes. Now it works and I can listen to my collection again. Haven’t shopped the “Trails” aspect of the shop, so I can’t speak to that selection.

I was looking at their inventory of vintage stereo equipment that they sale. Great local store and website if your looking for vintage stereo equipment. They have a large selection of components to look at.

Interesting. Your typical white owned, white pardoned shop where everyone becomes silent and attentive as soon as a brown or black person walks in the door. It’s basically a Thrift shop focused on audio systems, used outdoor gear and some legos. Off-street parking.

I have visited turntables and trails numerous times and time after time let me tell you this place is amazing! The owner, Spencer, who works there most days is a great person and a true master of his craft. Being a novice to the audio equipment industry, going into a new environment can be intimidating, but Spencer makes you feel right at home. He knows basically everything about all of his gear and knows how to get you the set - up that will work best for you AND your budget. He is also just genuinely fun to talk to. Overall, a gem of Seattle, make your way out to Turntables & Trails and you won’t regret it!

We had a great experience looking for a turntable, receiver, and speaker setup! The owners passion for hi-fi gear was contagious and his knowledge was impressive, but most importantly he was able to convey it all in a way that us novices understood.

I have seen this place around but never been in. I met a human who loves it so much that we went there and OMG. I didnt have an idea what I was walking into to. Its one of those places that you go in if you forget last minute what you need for a camping trip or any outdoor related experience. There is story in the back for kids that gets them to get creative with their choices and for those who can count money, be very smart with their purchases. I loved it!!! Pokemon cards for daaaaayyyysssss!!!

Rent, buy & sell! Audiophiles, wilderness enthusiasts, and video game geeks will have much to enjoy upon a visit to the Greenwood local shop Turntables and Trails. I discovered them via a Craigslist item I had been on the hunt for. I found an amazing deal on high-end crampons for mountaineering, and I intend on dropping in more often to see what other deals await at this gem of a place. Free outside street parking, open 12-6 most days, see their website for more of their gear updates.

An incredibly rad place that has everything you could imagine so far as music and the outdoors are concerned. They have second hand and new items comparable to REI but at a better price, paired with an awesome record collection and a huge assortment of turntables. If you want to support local business then go here, really all you could ever want in a store.

An amazing place with lots of terrific used and vintage audio equipment. My friend found the perfect Soundesign combo unit with a cassette and 8-track player (that he needed) and the owner (Spencer) even negotiated a lower price so my friend could take it home today. Lots top-name gear (McIntosh, Marantz, Pioneer, etc.) to choose from. Will definitely come back again.

The only place in Seattle, maybe even the State, where you can buy an amp and speakers and a backpack to put them in. Eclectic, yes, but a fun shop to peruse. Any day I find an album Ive been looking for is a good day, so this store gets a thumbs up.
