The staff are helpful and funny. You can purchase guitars for women of different sizes. Even this small woman was able to purchase a guitar!

Nice guitar selection of guitars for a smaller GC. Some nice used gear at reasonable prices as well. However, they always seem to be out of the PA gear I have been looking for and I end up buying online. I overheard the guitar tech talking repairs today too, and he seemed very knowledgeable. Good service, including helping me with enter/exit with a disability. They have a wheelchair lift, but its somewhat a poor design since the entrance is only 4 steps. I find its easier to hop down the stairs with my one leg than use the ADA lift... its kind of a PITA.

Im only giving this place 4 stars because every other time I go here an associate is rude or condescending to me. I always try to get my stuff shipped to me at this point to avoid going into the store and just being disappointed. I do like the different choices they have and the fact they have a better location with an ample amount of parking.

Great, but they didnt have a pedal section like theyve had in the past! I went in to ask the pedal employees to check out a pedal from my own collection and couldnt. Also, they had a HUGE selection of Fenders and Gibsons, but outside of huge names like them, the selection was quite limited (not many Gretch, or PRS). Im sure itll get better as they settle into the new location. Ill be back to check it out.

Its pretty much exactly what you expect, except with a reasonable selection of used instruments which was a surprise to me. There was definitely more pressure to know what we were shopping for than I have felt at other locations in the past, but I also understand that it may have been that just browsing isnt so acceptable in a pandemic even as its winding down.

Bought a cool little Acoustic Guitar Kit for less than $200...it sounds really good...came with a tuner, yay, a carry bag, picks...when the original strings went dead, I took it to their tech guy who made a knowledgeable recommendation geared toward the music I play...I got it back quick and WOW...now it sounds really good...great Sales and Customer Service, Thanks!

Loved the sound proof drum room and wall of electronic pianos and synthesizers, and the fact that they were open despite covid. The store appears to be super clean. Lots of staff to try to help you navigate through their vast array of choices. Nearly too many to decide. Though rushed I have no buyers regrets. I got a sweet deal and something that is much more than I expected. Cant wait to go back

Great experience got a good pa system for playing music outside

I bought a Schecter Synyster Gates Standard online. I was contacted by Jesse to make sure I was ok with an out of box model. A few days later I was having second thoughts about it and called to see if I could cancel and just wait for a new one to be shipped in. Anthony could not have been nicer when I called. He totally understood my reservations and reassured me that it was in good shape. Then he knocked some dollars off the price because it had been on the floor. Ben brought me my guitar when I picked it up curbside and was also very nice. Great experience all around and the guitar is fantastic. Thank you!!!!

Big dealer of musical equipment. The selection is second to none, the security of buying through a big company is always honored here. The sales people are great but pitted against each other to make commissions, so not their fault they have to focus on sales. Otherwise, staff is generally knowledgable and can help you find your way. Do not expect any great deals but consistently the best price in town at retail. Also expect to get low balled if you trade in equipment.

I wouldnt touch any of the guitarz without a good wipe down first they were pretty greasy the $6000 gibsonz on display were covered in greasy finger prints so beware take care and rock out!!!! plus im kinda mad they sent my guitar to wrong address and only god and the person who stole it knows where it is now....

This place has far more items in stock vs. the South Center location (which is kinda a sht hole). Customer service is always lacking and at a snails pace... but thats pretty much with and G.C. ...If you want to sample any of the DJ controllers, be prepared for a lame excuse for not being able to unlock their MacBook to let you sample the controllers... potential sales lost... oh well. Ill stick with my 1200s :)

If they dont have what you need you dont belong in music. They have it all and more! Great people, great shop, the best in town I promise.

Came in looking for a hard guitar case for a flight, and two team members walked me through pricing, pros and cons of a hard versus soft case, guitar dimensions, etc. didn’t end up buying anything but very knowledgeable folks at the Udistrict location. Removing a star because guitar center is pricy compared to some other places.

I purchased a Mitchell guitar that was back ordered everywhere and with Christmas around the corner it unfortunately wasn’t going to get here on time but with the help from Anthony and Nate they really provided great customer service and I can’t say enough how much it is appreciated. Very nice selection of instruments to choose from, and at a surprisingly affordable price range. I will definitely be going back there soon to pick up a new Jembe or Doumbek hand drum, or maybe a blues harp to start practicing on.

Big selection of quality instruments and equipment, both guitars and other types of instruments as well. I wasnt very impressed with books for beginners guitar lessons which was the reason for my visit.

I asked to pay with cash. Cashier said they needed exact change. I told him to round up for their little tax write off charity promotion. Cash drawer opens and is full of coins. Just another reason to hate this place.

I like this Guitar Center. I find the sales people help you get the instrument you want to try, will help you get plugged in with the amp you want and then dont bug you too much - let you play, switch amps, etc. I also find them to be helpful with info if you have a question but also willing to say they dont know something. Overall I like shopping here and Ive bought a few items including a used guitar. Its a nice addition to the neighborhood, and way better than hauling down to south Lake Union.

I have occasionally had difficult experiences at Guitar Center being a female musician e.g. sometimes male staff members have talked down to me. THIS GUITAR CENTER IS GREAT! The personnel are friendly and non-pushy, respectful, professional and helpful. What a pleasant surprise! I really appreciate that. Also, the showroom is clean and very well-stocked. I am not afraid to go back there.

As a kid I loved shopping at Guitar Center in Westlake. As I got older I learned a lot of their sketchy sales techniques but luckily had a great trustworthy salesman that I would always call for and he was excellent. This new location felt like it was still being set up. A lot of sunbursty Les Pauls and Strats as expected but not much variety. Repair shop was in disarray and I even saw a violin on the ground in awful shape. Somehow even during covid three sales people were on the phone and I was waiting around per instructions at the door. Just a bad overall vibe, I tried to banter with the guy who checked me out, they said I should go to electrician trade school when I said I was thinking about repairing my own guitar pedal. I would rather shop online instead of dealing with overpriced stuff, poor service and messy shop.

Went on after work on 6/17. Had a couple of questions about stuff, DAW and a keyboard. On my way out there was a Road Runner soft guitar case on clearance. Had a nice hard foam inside. Was told by the worker, (Kaity or Caitlin?) that it was dreadnaught size. IT ISNT. Its meant for a hollow bodied electric or anything thats only 3.5inches wide. She needs a coaching and the website needs updated. I spent $48 dollars for a case that cant hold my guitar bc I took the word of an employee. Whos supposed to know this stuff.AND I CANT RETURN IT. Clearance items are final sale and with Covid returns arent accepted. I made a joke about not needing the receipt since i cant return anyways, so I didnt get the receipt . She was super nice and helpful.. but obviously not very damn helpful.

This is an amazing organization and store concept. Their customer service levels are right up there in the 9 to 10 range. Everyone knows their product and is likely individually skilled in the product as well. In my case I purchased a used acoustic that I noted a few issues with. I called the customer service number explain the situation that I had it shipped to me they suggested that I bring it to a local store let them look at it and report back what the resolution would be. I cannot say enough about how true they speak to their customer satisfaction goal which is if Im not satisfied theyre not satisfied. So now I own two used left-handed acoustics and both of them are up to Snuff.

Of course GC is a staple, Im glad they didnt move far. Easy to find the new location and park. The new spot has some weird arrangements, including putting nice guitars on clearance fourteen feet in the air above the doorway to the synthesizers, but overall its your same ole guitar center.

Bought a guitar less than 6mths ago and the guitar started warping. Brought it back to the shop and the tech wanted to charge me for repairs and won’t take responsibility for the lemon they sold me. Disapppointed.

The decline is obvious. Anything fun or cool is bolted down.

The store layout could be a little better (like putting the Audio Interfaces next to the pedals) but overall the employees there are nice and the support is also nice, they also have drums there and they allow you to play on any of the guitars or drums there.

Anything and everything you could possibly need for instrument related stuff, but its almost sensory overload.Plus, the day I came by to get some strings and a guitar tuner, the guy behind the desk just pointed to the area where the guitar tuners were and said there over in that area... that was the extent of the customer service given.Not super impressed, but there arent also a lot of options for other places to go.

Same old Guitar Center, new location. Employees go out of their way to avoid helping you. Go down the street to Trading Musician instead.

Friendly staff but pushy, I get the sense they make commission (they do). Not super knowledgable either. Dont have any nicer brands besides the major two. Guitars are never set up well and feel a lot worse then they possibly are/could be. Employees have no autonomy when it comes to used gear, they will type your gears specs into the computer and it spits out a number. If you know what youre getting, its really straight forward.

Lot of good gear, not terribly expensive, I just need more money...

I bought I mic shield there, I asked the salesman if I could check inside the box, he said it was not possible, when I arrive at home the shield was not there...I sent a claim by e-mail with no answer, I called them and they answer that they are not allowed to ship or refund me. Apparently I was stolen.
