One of the better Whole Foods that I have been to.It is very clean, spacious, and well designed. The aisles are wide apart and the store is one whole rectangular space that is easy to navigate through, making the grocery shopping experience even more enjoyable.Nice to have a deli corner, and many self check-out kiosks in this store, which usually makes the line move faster.
Pretty well stocked, standard WF fare, I really like the tie-in with Amazon because it makes returning things so simple. Very polite people working there, absolutely zero complaints. (And that’s very unusual for me!) Happy they got more sake finally!
Worst Whole Foods location in United States. 6:30PM they are out of almost all food. Pizza closed at 5:30. Hot food plates mostly empty. Nothing is there. They dont even have basic things like potatoes all 7 times Ive been there.Ive never seen a mess like that in Whole Foods and I traveled through most of states and whole foods locations out there.
Tonight while I was at self-checkout, a bottle of Italian soda fell of the shelf and smashed between me and the person next to me. It looked like someone was pushed it over while stocking the shelves and didn’t notice. My sandals were sticky from the soda and a bit of glass got into them. I’m annoyed that not one employee said anything as I was clearly splashed with soda and glass, didn’t ask me to step aside, and just assumed I would get out of the way of them cleaning while I awkwardly finished ringing up my groceries from the side of the machine. Otherwise, I like this Whole Foods.
My husband saw an elderly woman trying to use the restroom in an emergency situation and no one was willing to give her the bathroom code unless she purchased something first while the checkout line was exceptionally long. Completely unacceptable and would expect better from a Whole Foods. Have never heard or seen this policy at any other Whole Foods location across the country or in Seattle. Store Manager Senait should be ashamed of allowing this policy to impact loyal shoppers.
I was satisfied with my experience at whole foods. I was able to get my needed items. The cashier was very helpful.
Very bright and open layout. Efficient cashier assisted and self-checkout systems. Deli could offer more choices.
This Whole Foods may be one of the best location for transportation. It is right off the bus line for 3 routes and the trolly from South Lake Union to downtown. They have remodeled it a little so that it has like 20 self serve check outs and only 5 manned registers. The only down side is that the items are very expensive compared to Safeway or QFC.
This is the first time Ive been in whole foods since the pandemic. I was very pleasantly surprised to see how much more reasonable prices have become. The quality and selection is still good and now its a lot more affordable. I guess I cant call it Whole Paycheck anymore.
The store is clean and has lots of fresh meat and produce options. It also has lots of shelf stable options and a decent size bakery.
Nice location, has a lot of options but theres always a lot of people. Bathrooms can only be accessed if you have a payment receipt so be aware of this, parking is good and free if you buy for 2 hours.
Wonderful store this is definitely the most high-tech store that I have been to of late. Due to covid-19 they have made some alterations when you go inside otherwise the store is fabulous and very clean.
Ive shopped at them in many large Metro areas around the country. This one I would rate a 3/10. They could do better.
Being a Personal Chef I grocery shop at a lot of different markets. I feel like I have a good sense of service and product. Whole foods had everything I needed today except for shallots. I thought the meat department was a highlight because they had excellent selection of so many types of meats. I also noticed a Mexican food area that was new. My first time parking in the downstairs. All in all it was a very good experience.
Its about one of the few grocery stores Ive been to. Where its not hard to find somebody who is employed. To ask questions. Great customer service
Frankly other than David, my cashier, I was very frustrated by bit being able to use the restroom before I finished my shopping. I am aware people may come in to only use the restroom, but when I asked another associate, his response was I dont know the code. Total BS. Thanks David for being cool even though I really had to use the restroom.
Really good, well stocked the store right in the heart of South Lake Union. Excellent location for grab and go food!
The price of this supermarket was affordable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. In short, our visit was extremely interested and I left and wished that in my home town we had a shop like this.
We have gone multiple times as every time has been fantastic. The owner is really nice and the sandwiches are bomb.
First time I had been here and I absolutely love the store and all of the different types of foods they had to choose from!
Whole foods doesn’t allow you to use their restroom unless you buy something. I really wanted to use the restroom before shopping at the Wholefoods but they didnt allow me to use since they want a receipt to let us use the restroom. Really a poor customer service and bad customer experience.
Usually well stocked and has fresh fruits and vegetables and hot food.
I appreciate the quality and freshness of the food, especially the produce and healthy snacks. Even though its up there in price, totally worth it.
Organized and clean. Good price and healthy food.
Quality store. All the staff is very helpful. Their meat and seafood counters are some of the best I’ve been to. Bit on the pricy side though, even after being bought by Amazon.
I really like this store. There food choices are great &their staff are wonderful.
It usually has everything I want and the checkout process is quick and efficient.
Shopped here for 7 years pretty good in terms of Whole Foods.Biggest inconvenience is they recently changed the bathroom to only have the code at the bottom of the receipt. I asked multiple attendants and they all told me I had to buy something first instead of just giving it to me first.
If you’re willing to go at 6am, the store is always empty
Wheelchair accessible. Very helpful staff. Good selection and reasonable prices.
Decent overall usually arrive on foot but will park today as I have a dental appt nearby so will be driving. Previous experiences (many) give net 3 stars. The good: well organised, nice staff (not security), great produce and bulk. Great seafood. The meh: lighting too bright, prices still too high mostly, cheese counter just ok, wine selection ok but qfc betterThe bad: They have seattle police in there illegally bcz they are not private security and this is not city property. Incident some years ago with security. Sorry phone at 1%
Always out of food, the workers are rude and slower than my grandma. Not worth going Wont be back
Every employee I have encountered at this location was upbeat (in a good way), helpful and decisive. The training they get must be good.
Roasted chicken, old, overcooked. Salad bar even worse. Expected better.
Amazing service, super kind environment and over all exquisite products
This Whole Foods is tiny, but has a decent selection packed into its aisles. The folks are friendly, the prices are fine, and its my favorite neighborhood grocery!
Good spot to grab quick lunch on the go
I would say just the bathroom experience alone at the WFM fails to “continually raise the bar of the customer experience”. When it takes five minutes to get a Bathroom code so your 2yo doesn’t have an accident because “we don’t know the code” it makes it unlikely for us to return here. Location/parking/general approach to CS (or lack there of) makes it less desirable, surprising given proximity to AMZ HQ. Mask wearing by WFM employees makes QFC look like it takes Covid more seriously. Rather tone deaf. The difficulty in finding and returning a cart from the Main Street level entrance is also not super customer centric.
The AC is on fleek during the heat wave. The food is whole foods food. By that I mean good. A+
This place has a lot of specialty items I like to indulge. Great for lunch although most items don t last till dinner.
Found moldy food all the time here. Check strawberry carefully before you buy it.
Convenient location. But the hot food bar is always finished fast.
We shop here almost daily and my mom needed to use the restroom. She went to ask what the code was and two of the staff refused to give her unless she made a purchase. Thankfully we found a receipt from yesterday that we could use. Staff should take in consideration senior people and health conditions. So heartless. We are always given the code in other states and even in PCC market.
I love this place, and always get courteous efficient customer service. I do hate that some people think customer service means employees need to shuck and jive, do a little dance, or have a five minuet conversation to appease customers. these people have empty lives. thank you Whole Foods for getting me and all others through the line as quickly as possible so I can go about my day.
Great options for food and grocery.
Generally pricy, but also generally good quality. Decent selection of beer, wine, and spirits (and surprisingly bitters as well)
Centrally located store with a good selection of fresh produce, and beauty and health products you expect from Whole Foods. The checkout area has been modified this year to add a lot of self-checkout stands (most likely due to pandemic contact concerns).Store layout does change often, particularly in the bulk foods and produce areas, but the staff are very helpful in helping you hunt down an item on your shopping list.
This store used to be an amazing experience. The layout, the ambiance,, the food, the people working there. All that is now gone.
Wow, they really changed this due to the pandemic. Everything is encased in plastic. Food is still good but prepackaged. Hope they move away from it after the pandemic is over. Del check-in guy was super helpful!
It should have provided a better guidance to outowners about the time of operation and where to park.
Everyone lined up at the assisted register line, and when I walked to the self check out, some people looked at me as if I was cutting them in line.
Its a whole foods like all the others. Staff is really nice.
Conveniently located this whole foods is clean and well kept. I go here sometimes to find deals on yogurt or kombucha. They have free parking above in the roundabout with other shops. Tried to get Thanksgiving dinner here before but they sold out so fast so be sure to check stock on something before you go in if you really want it.
Great selection and self check out so the lines are never long to checkout.
Extremely dirty bathrooms, rude service, everything is self check out service, so huge lines, very inconvenient.
Good quality stuff but extremely costly. The layout of the store is not very customer friendly
Only 10% of stock is reasonably priced, with its hours a joke as long as they close at 9PM! Only rarely will I visit.
Nice place to shop friendly people
Normal Whole Foods. Clean, stocked. What more do you expect of a Whole Foods.
Love my community store stays super clean staff great
The prices are not as ridiculous as I remember. But that’s probably because we only bought a little groceries. You can’t beat the service and convenience.
Always a nice visit.they closer one in tacoma .but they are not friendly.so me family drive to seattle.
Well cooked deli food
Very good and large Whole Foods Market with variety of local coffee, wine and cholocolates collection. Here you can find variety of meat and seafood. The bulk quantity buy section with all kinds of nuts, flours and coffee is great. Only thing they can improve is having loose tea leaves section as well in bulk quantity section. The self checkout is helpful during these times of Covid.
5 stars for variety, freshness and product availability.1 star(sadly cant do zero) to customer service. It was around closing time one fine day and raining outside, a typical Seattle winter day and an employee Er*ca was very adamant and literally shoved us out of the store. She did not even let us spend 10 seconds inside the store to book a cab.It is highly disappointing to be treated this way, especially when it was just a matter of 10 seconds of staying inside the store. Is it too much to ask for? To be able to safely book a cab from inside the store before I could leave with 4 full size bags? She was super agressive and least interested in helping us out. Very dissatisfied!!
Really not fun sitting for 10 minutes at checkout while employees ignore you. Doubley not fun when Whole Foods employees respond rudely when you indicate that youve been waiting a long time. Not sure if this is just a Whole Foods thing, not going to take the chance though.
Really good. Kinda scrunched together, and not the best customer service.
Gone way down hill. This WF is so over run by Amazon employees its not worth shopping her eanymore.
Its pretty great, featuring organic and sustainable produce (EBT cards accepted)!
Being a corporate giant like Amazon, they have done a good job of preserving the whole foods dynamic. Got several items, including salted carmel which is delish. Also, their buffet style prepped food items, while pared down due to the concerns over the spread of a certain disease, is still very tasty and varied. So, do yourself a favor and go there to the Westlake and Denny Whole Foods location. Get yourself some savory and different, fresh hot and inviting dishes for price by the pound today. You cant go wrong.
Whole foods, proving that eating right can still cost A LOT of money.
Best selection of olives Ive ever seen. Great deli also.
You can get everything you need in produce in one go!
The parking garage can be a pain sometimes but other than that, its a good location with more variety than the Cap Hill one.
Very good store for groceries, vegetables and other household things
WF has lost its edge and appeal. Too much tech.
Use reusable cloth bags for groceries. If at all you choose to use the recyclable paper bags, just take few extra because they are not durable and in rains they just tear away.
First time coming here. We are prime members but have never been to Whole Foods. Asked a simple question about how the discounts work and our cashier Jane went into a 15 minute long rant about the customers not knowing how things work. She was extremely patronizing and did not make our Whole Foods experience pleasant. Was shocked at how rude she was. Will not be shopping at Whole Foods again.
This is a well-run Whole Foods, with a nice cheese bar, self-checkout in two separate areas, and the self-checkout technology is really easy to use. All employees I have ever interacted with have been phenomenal, especially Elodie. She helped me when I was looking in the health section. They have a huge selection from health and beauty products, including a great toothpaste area. They have a sandwich bar and pizza bar and the hot food is now back open! The only thing that is sort of unfortunate is you have to buy something before using the bathroom, because the bathroom code is printed on your receipt, and the employees wont tell you what it is. Considering I spend about $500 a month here, just let me use the bathroom before I go shopping if I have to go.
I love stores like this! If you are someone who pays attention to what you are consuming this is the store!
Expensive but decent food
The lady who was as cashier on 12 Dec 2020 at 8:30 pm.She was so rude. Simple snatches things from hands without speaking a word. Stuffed things into the bags which made it difficult for us to carry. She did not have courtesy to ask. In the end, just threw the bill into the bag with no due respect towards customer.Very Bad Experience.
Such a big variety. Food so good I can feel the healthiness.
