This place is so cute and fun! Knowing its literally all vegan is so awesome, and they have a great little pig sanctuary! Really awesome products to pick from! Will return for sureeeeee!

Its an awesome place! But I spent $120 on two grocery bags lol so its definitely pricey but I think its because the money goes towards the pig sanctuary but definitely the best place to find the vegan foods that normal stores dont sell.

This place is so awesome. I hope they can open again soon. They had some vegan products that weren’t easy to find, and a wide range of snacks and candies, ready made sandwiches, a jerky section, and a ramen section. Support them when they open back up.

Vegan Haven is the best! Theyve got a ton of gluten free /allergen friendly food, beverages, and goodies, and the whole store is vegan!

Large selection of vegan items. I was impressed with the variety of products. They had jerky, ice cream, mac n cheese, etc. Im not vegan but I would definitely try some of the goods they sell.

Yeh! The owner and a crew were cleaning the store and doing maintenance to be able to open soon. This is our favorite place to shop. She couldnt lock down to a definite date yet... But she does have intentions of reopening. My wife and I are looking forward to that. This store has such a big and loyal following.

This store is amazing. Been on the hunt for Vegan Robs Dragon Puffs and they had them and much more. Prices are reasonable, and everything is high quality and humane. Good spot to hit on a Saturday along with the U District Farmers Market.

I love coming to Vegan Haven. Its almost an hour from my house, but worth the trip every time. The store is small, but its nice to know I dont have to check any of the labels to make sure if something vegan. Its also very nice to know Im supporting a local sanctuary. All proceeds help Pigs Peace Sanctuary. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The store sells a lot of vegan products I cant find anywhere else so I make special trips about once per month to stock up.

Love this place a lot. It really is nice to not have to worry about reading labels and you get just anything that captures your eyes. The only down side is that it is a little cramped inside but overall, not too bad!

Amazing little vegan store! We are so lucky to have a store like this in Seattle. The store is in place to support Pigs Peace Sanctuary so I always feel good about purchasing from here, and its all run by volunteers. They have such an awesome selection of vegan brands all in one place. Its so great to go into a store and know that you can buy anything you pick up! Love this place!

Vegan Haven is my go-to store when I am looking for unique vegan food and products. I love to shop there because all of the proceeds go to a pig sanctuary and the volunteers are very nice! Support small businesses!!

They have just about everything you could need at home for your vegan lifestyle I loved the selection of meat alternatives especially!

Staff is always friendly, tons of options. Definitely love it during the summer weekends when they are having the farmers market on the street too. Also Aryas is just a couple doors down.

Fantastic selection. One of the first things I saw when I got there was the Herbavorious Butcher products, and I had to remind myself it was a vegan store. They have just about every protein product worth buying. Also, fantastic chocolate/dessert selection. Definitely a place to go to spoil yourself.

Very cool vegan grocery store, they have quite a bit of stuff including snacks, frozen food, even stickers and candy. Downside here is that prices are high and some of the chocolate on the shelf looks like its not surviving hotter days as it melts and solidifies again. But a great little shop.

Great place with so many vegan items all at one place, and it is peaceful to the mind not to see cruelty products around that make you feel immensely sad. Staff are very friendly and try their best to help.

Omg! How have I never been here?! This place is great! Its a small store, but packed full of foods Ive never seen anywhere else. So excited I finally made it. I will be shopping here more often.

Such a wonderful experience! It is so fantastic to be able to not have to read every ingredient list when shopping for groceries! A lot of the more uncommon vegan goods that you wont just find at your local grocery store. The staff are extremely helpful, since my husband and I are new to Seattle, they gave us a list of all the veg-friendly places around the city! No fresh produce, but definitely my favorite place to shop for groceries!

Nice little store. Lots of product considering how small the space is. Love the proceeds going to a pig sanctuary. Definitely worth checking out. Get some good stuff and donate to a worthy cause all in one Fell Swoop.

An all vegan grocery store that donates to charity. It doesnt need more of a review than that 🖤 But I will...the people who work here are truly amazing. I drive up here from Graham just for Vegan Haven! If I go to Seattle at all, I HAVE TO stop into Vegan Haven. They deserve all your money. Buy all the stuff, but leave some chocolate sea salt truffles in the fridge for me 😈

Vegan Haven is truly vegan food heaven. Bring an extra buck to spend on fun treats. They have all the mock meats and cheeses but they have other hidden gems too. You never know what amazing things youll find. If you are vegan curious, vegetarian, or a long time vegan take time to visit this store. The volunteers are friendly and helpful. This shop is also run for Pigs for Peace sanctuary so thats an awesome bonus!

While this little shop doesnt have produce, it is packed top to bottom with specialty vegan goods that may be hard to find elsewhere. Though they support a pig sanctuary with their profits, the prices are still quite reasonable, and the staff are always friendly. They are also often very knowledgeable and happy to talk about good vegan options.

I cant in good faith shop here any longer. Encouraging cat owners to purchase vegan cat food is an early-death sentence for those poor kitties (or at least a life sentence to terrible health issues). Its a shame as Im sure many other vegans with the same issue against this store would agree with me that theyd resume shopping here if they removed the vegan cat food from their shelves.Additionally, the message of the store has confused me on a number of trips here. I was under the impression that 100% of proceeds go towards the pig sanctuary they advertise, but at checkout they ask if youd like to make a donation. I think they should make it clear whether your spendings are already a donation or not.

Its so nice to have a store where I can buy food and other items without having to look at every ingredient label to make sure what Im getting is vegan. Its extra special that the profits support an animal sanctuary. I go here every time I visit Seattle.

It is great that this place exists and I will continue to support the good work that they do, but to anyone with PTSD or personal space issues, it is a nightmare. There is no room to move around the store with even three or four customers, and somehow neither the regular customers nor the staff have any respect for personal space. The staff are constantly shelving during business hours, making the space even smaller and making it impossible to get what you want without incurring more trauma. Hardly a “haven.”

This place is absolutely amazing. I didnt even know an all vegan grocery store like this even existed. Not only are they all vegan, but they also have specialty vegan food that Ive been looking for since I became a vegan 2 years ago! Like corn dogs and tuna. What makes this place EVEN BETTER is that its a non-profit store. All of the workers are volunteers, except for the manager, and all of the money you spend here goes to a pig farm sanctuary. Every vegan should definitely visit and support this awesome place!

Vegan Haven is the only all Vegan store and supports Pigs Peace Sanctuary. It is an awesome store and not only are you getting awesome products but you are literally saving lives when you shop there. Can you say that about everywhere or even anywhere else you shop? I doubt it. If you havent been there, you absolutely have to go for great products, a fun shopping experience and a store run by volunteers which says a lot. When people volunteer to work somewhere, it has to be great or they would choose to spend there time elsewhere. After all, they arent getting paid to show up!

[Update 1/2018.] This is a specialty store, so the selection for vegan foods is the best in town. However, my most recent visit indicates that after the pretty new sign went up along with local sales tax, they started practicing price-gouging (anywhere from 20-65% on many food items). It was great to have a store that could sort of compete price-wise with the local stores (QFC, Trader Joes & Target) for vegan foods, but its no longer the case. Would love to see veganism become more accessible and not an elite diet. The store is the same size after renovation, but they carry more brands and the selection has gotten better. For specialty items you cant get elsewhere easily, its the place to go.[Over a year ago - 5 stars.] Been going here for over half a year, and they have a great selection of vegan items you cant find elsewhere. Even though its a boutique store, some of the prices are better than the major grocery stores in the area. The all-volunteer staff is always pleasant and helpful too.

Vegan Haven is amazing. Wide variety of vegan comfort-food favorites at pretty damn reasonable prices, too. Although I dont mind spending my money there at all as the money supports Pigs Peace Sanctuary.

Maybe a little on the pricey side, but definitely worth the gander if you are vegan. No worries if you are vegan as everything here is good to go. Some product maybe cheaper elsewhere, but if you live close its probably the better option because of convenience. Very nice customer service as well.

Dont forget your reusable bags on your delightful trip to Vegan Haven! Prepare for a small, friendly shop with helpful staff and a nice selection. A staple for any plant-based people in the U District.

Great market for vegans! I bought BBq Korean veggie ribs and they were phenomenal I also bought vegan beef jerky! Very rare stuff to find they have it here, plus is run by volunteers and profits go to animal sanctuaries. Support consciously local

I find shopping at Vegan Haven pretty awesome because they carry so, so many products needed for Keto and Paleo recipes! This is my go-to place for sugar substitutes, alt milks and alt flours.

This is one of our destination spots when we roll thru Seattle. Great prices and an even better cause. Cant say enough good things about them.

What a treat! This store even has everything from wholesale size bags of beyond meat, to vegan necklaces, wallets, and belts. Leaflets and free reading materials are scattered throughout the store, I was happy to be able to update my Seattle vegan restaurant list. They even have Miyokos cheese!! (at affordable prices, I might add) The employees are of course very friendly and helpful. If you want to feel like a kid in a candy store, check out Vegan Haven!

Vegan Haven, formerly Sidecar for Pigs Peace, is a mini market and fund raising arm for Pigs Peace Sanctuary. They offer all the vegan basics plus specialties you cant find elsewhere. Vegan twinkies, red velvet cake, and sandwiches from the Wayward Cafe. They also have beauty products and a small collection of books, wallets, and belts.

I have not been to this place yet but was looking through the photos and noticed the vegan cat food and needed to say something important. First, I am a vegetarian transitioning into a vegan. So I understand the importance of being vegan and wish that my beloved cats could join me too. However, a vegan diet for your cat will eventually kill it. Cats unlike dogs domesticated themselves and are obligatory carnivores. This means that cats digestive system is built for digesting meat and that is it. They can have things like rice here or there but overall, grains will cause serious damage to a cat. This is very important, cats CANNOT be vegan or vegetarian. If you cant deal with purchasing meat products for your pets than a cat isnt the right pet for you. Please, for the sake of your cat do not make it go vegan or vegetarian.

Youll find everything you need here, from food to accessories, as well as sweets. We get all of our groceries here when we can. Youll be spending a pretty penny but its worth it.

Great selection, but the staff tonight was not knowledgeable about the products at all. I can read labels forever, I expect a specialty vegan store to help me avoid that. They were very sweet to my dog :)

Excellent vegan store benefiting a pig sanctuary--what more could you want? I snagged some tasty eats, a small backpack, and some cool eye makeup (which was a lot cheaper than the vegan makeup at Whole Foods!). I wish their cosmetics selection was bigger but the food selection wows.

I live all the way in white center and am perpetually broke as hell but will still always come here for soy curls and tasty treats. Not pretentious either, unlike every PCC ive been to. Actually feel welcome here. Great little store.

I love this place so much! They have so many products that I cannot find anywhere else, and the volunteers are always so kind and helpful. They have the best vegan accessories too! I bought a vegan wallet and a vegan belt there, and they are both fantastic. They are one of the few stores carrying gluten-free, vegan taquitos and a stevia-sweetened ice cream that I love.

I love Vegan Haven. Its an all vegan store and there are things I get that i havent found in other places..Its across from Wayward Cafe so when I go there to eat I stop at the store... I like that money goes to the Pig Peace Sanctuary.... I live in N Lynnwood and even tho it doesnt take long to get there, i wish we had places like Vegan Haven and Wayward Cafe around this area..
