The dry bulk section was great and easy to use. The meat selection was fantastic and the butcher very friendly and helpful. The produce was way to expensive for me.
Its pcc, generally the same. The pizza is burnt and dry here though. Staff is great.
Great market. Everything is clean, well organized and nicely displayed. They have an amazing selection of grab and go dinners that are prepared there same day.The only reason I dont give them 5 stars is because the prices are a bit inflated.I saw things I can find definitely cheaper at QFC for example, same exact product, although of course, QFC doesnt have the amazing organic selection that PCC has. Even the Met market seems more affordable than this store. So yes, Ill go back for specialty products only, but Ill rather buy my organic produce elsewhere. I paid 7 dollars for a small bag of mandarins and they were just ok.
This place is AWESOME, the coffee is actually Equal(Fair) Trade, the deli food section has SO many choices, so many things I’ve never heard of that I want to try. They have a membership program too for the discounts, $60.00 for a lifetime membership is BEYOND WORTH IT. This place and the people who work there are fantastic. 1001/10 would and will shop there again!
Whats not to like very friendly efficient always answering questions and of course PCC markets are the best take the time and go here
Fantastic grocery store! Modern, clean, organic and or mostly natural ingredients. (Check the labels not everything is as healthy as you might think) Fresh veggies, fruits and prepared foods.
Best picks for produce and amazing take out selection. I shop here 5-6 days a week.
Great grocery store in West Seattle. Fresh food, decent prices and a nice selection on the salad/hot bars most days.
Staff are always respectful, kind, helpful, resourceful, knowledgeable, and just all around wonderful humans. Its clear they they are friends and my impression is that management treats them better than most places (otherwise customers would probably see it with high turnover and short/negative experience). I appreciate that they took COVID seriously from the beginning. Have been a dedicated customer at West Seattle, Fremont, and Canyon Park (where ever I lived or worked) for years and highly recommend them to anyone I know looking for a great place to shop. Love that they help me live a healthy sustainable life, thank you PCC!
The prepared food is fantastic. I love the pasta. Any desserts are professional better than restaurant.
Love this location! I usually stop in just for the pie and cake but the overall selection is unmatched when it comes to quality and freshness. Whole Foods who?! Seriously, its all there!
Super clean I am able to buy vitamins and high quality supplements here not carried by any other grocery store including whole foods
It was clean and the staff was very helpful.
If you want a safe, convenient place to shop, look no further, this grocery store is what you need. Theyve got everything you need. They have anything for you, from fresh fruit to vegetables and fresh seafood. I like the width of their aisle. It was huge and spacious indeed. The counter team are as friendly as they were.
Amazing place for a quick lunch to pick up!
Wanted to find sage essential oil but it was sold out. Ivy was terrific and found a product that had sage as an ingredient....it so worked! Thank you for always coming to my rescue.
They have a decent liquor store, a nice bakery, and fresh fruit, among other things. Similarly, the employee was not rude and worked quickly to meet the needs of the customers. I really, really want you to go!!
This is a new big store where we can reliably find the Macrina oatmeal bread that we like. They have beautiful produce and delicious bakery treats. They also have a grain bar where you can select rice, brown rice, or mixed rice and put toppings on it, like Korean BBQ and a lot of vegetarian options. There is plenty of free parking and the staff members are friendly and efficient. Even when they are really busy, the lines move quickly. PCC is fun for specialty items, for instance, I found a purse size spray bottle of hand sanitizer that my wife loves. Smells so good!
Wow, what a crew. The folks who work here are really sweet and make every shopping experience pleasant. Also, awesome interior design and great prepared food selection.
Big clean place. lots of bulk food items like, nuts and cereals. prices are comparable to boutique markets
A ton of organic and natural foods.
Great selection of organic and local food. Friendly and helpful staff.
Only one checker and dont like the self check out.
Has a great selection of dairy free ice cream. However you are going to be paying a lot more for the products here.Their dairy free and gluten free options are more extensive then the other stores around.
Very modern and good quality foods
Workers were fairly confused, cart attendant seemed very tense and rude about the carts. A customer dropped his bag after paying and stepping away and the cashier pretty much shut her line down while he went to get new product and she re-bagged his groceries unpacked them and repacked them a 2nd time. Then cleaned her space, slowly. We waited and so did many other customers as only two registers were running. Otherwise decent product selection, the store was very clean and the product was faced nicely.
PCC is honestly amazing. Their produce is better (in both price and quality) than their competitor across the street. Their bulk section is great. They also have the best coffee! It seems like they care about their employees. Highly recommend!
The meat counter is incredible!
Hands down one of the best supermarkets in the city. Even among PCC’s this one is a real exception. West Seattle has got it so good!
Makes me all warm and fuzzy inside.
Friendly, helpful employees, clean environment. The food from the deli is fresh and delicious. Wonderful baked goods.
This market is amazing! Their team is super friendly and helpful and their items are top notch. Every vendor sold is vetted by PCC and if that wasn’t enough, their membership is over-the-moon worth it. You get a 2% dividend back each year based on what you spend plus they send lots of emails about free items that you only get if you’re a member. So glad to have you guys back in West Seattle!
My favorite west seattle supermarket, and they have really good pizza.
Today was my first visit to the new West Seattle location. I found it to be bright, spacious, clean, well-stocked, and well-organized. It was later in the evening and business was winding down, but the vegan items I wanted from the hot-bar were still available. I grabbed a few more items (I can only find at PCC locations) and headed to the check-out. Sean was cashiering and Owen was bagging. They were both very courteous and personable. I will definitely be back in the future.
Great PCC! Friendly staff and great food selection. Produce is top notch. Deli is wonderful!
Pizza lady is really nice. Deli is always kind. I really like they yummy food
Had an amazing experience today and Everytime I shop here, but particularly today due to James the cashier. He discovered that it was my fiances birthday and he then became very jovial and proceeded to sing her a happy personalized Birthday song. His actions not only lifted up our day and our spirits but they were appreciate and beyond memorable. His friendly approach to customer service makes one feel welcomed.
Love this place even if its expensive. Also Nanda, I have hearing issues and I dont ignore you when I go through your line. Sorry if it seems like it.
Please bring back the espresso station. When COVID-19 started and high school closed, I understand why no one was getting drinks or sandwiches. Sometimes it would be open and other times not. When there is no consistency, then people stop trying. Now you have removed it, accept for drip. You never really got it going properly, once you opened. I think using the machinery for hot sandwiches was underutilized. Display and being welcoming is everything. I know that during Covid, everything has to be different. Try rearranging. Right now seems very maze like. Please advertise and bring back espresso. I have to go elsewhere. You are losing daily business. When it gets cold outside, we really would enjoy a hot espresso drink. My stomach cannot take the acid of drip coffee. Columbia and Burien are too far w/o the bridge.
Just came through for the first time since their remodel.Well-lit (the store not me). Wide aisles. Great products. The only competition they have is the Metropolitan Market. But they beat them handily. Most notably by the friendly staff who were very much available.I have been shopping at the Metropolitan Market for years. I don’t think I have ever been smiled at by any staff members walking around the store. To be fair I have been treated in a friendly way at the register. But it’s like everybody else gets daily beatings or their dog just died or something.Maybe I don’t look rich enough for them to waste their time being courteous. It’s a leadership problem. And whoever is in leadership over there needs to be fired. But whoever is in leadership over here needs a raise.Cause I felt welcome and I felt like sticking around. I spent extra money and I’ll be back.
Awesome selection of organic produce and other groceries. Huge bulk food section. Dont expect to find a lot of big-name grocery brands here though, they specialize in organic and healthier options. The space is nice but can feel a bit crowded when its busy.
Loved the old store and shopped there weekly. There was a PCC-shaped hole in my heart for a couple years, but the new store is bigger and better than ever! Love all the high quality, locally-sourced products and the friendliest grocery staff in the city.
Our very favorite store! Everyone is always friendly and helpful, and the deli has lots of treats to explore. I especially like the grain bar for healthy options.
Excellent selection of organic food. Friendly staff. Like new building and layout. Most customers are considerate enough to wear masks too.
I was there for shopping I spend more than $245.00 grocer. When I need help one care about me . For me this people are not well come and disrespect. I ask them where is manager. They told me . No here . But I feel so bad . I wish Im the owner . Why they are here for work go help customer. If you have customer, how come you get payment. Sorry dear owner but tell them the true to work hard. Thank you and I hope you get my message
This location recently reopened. Great layout, nice lighting. Wide variety of foods. The prices are too high for me to consider being a steady customer. Great staff,!
I do like PCC however the hot bar offerings are getting old. I really wish they would change it up a bit. Also, went to check out the new location in West Seattle and they dont have their coffee bar and no oatmeal. Whats the point of having breakfast with no coffee!?!
Great place, great products, great people
PCC used to be that quirky granola place that offered hard to find organic items for beatniks and wannabeatniks. The granola aspect has left the building even though you can still buy granola. Now you get your off-the-grid, flip-flop and shorts lifestyle products in a fancy, cold, glass, metal, and concrete building that gained in convenience but lost character and its community feel. Wholefoods? PCC? Metropolitan Market? They are all good and expensive, but its getting harder to tell the difference.
Love this place!!
Im so glad PCC is back in business here in west seattle. Produce is fresh and mostly local. Supplements are brands you can trust. Great selection. Not sure why anyone would shop anywhere else.
PCC is always good. The new store in West Seattle is dark and ceilings seem low compared to other PCC stores in the area. Burien, bright, well laid out, Columbia City the same. West Seattle, awkward layout but same consistency of product and customer service as the other stores.
Absolutely delicious fresh food from the deli... They know when to stop and not over cook or over do it with to many spices ! Then the healthy selection of seasonal as well as other groceries is excellent. For me taking away all the concern about reading how many additives or marginal ingredients have been added, gives me peace of mind . Their fresh produce actually tastes like it should! I adore their commitment to the environment, particularly Farmland Trust! What a great grocery store...so accountable an should be a model for others! Thank you board members of PCC and Members! What price is YOUR health worth?
Great beer and quality food!
My favorite co-op in Washington state! West Seattle is lucky to have a PCC. Stop in for delicious pre-made pizzas in the deli. The vegan pesto pizza is a crowd pleaser at parties! Also, some say PCC is “too expensive”. But if you shop based on what’s priced valuably and/or on sale, you can save money. I stock up on what I can with the deals etc at PCC. Then I get all other things from Trader Joe’s or Whole Foods.
I love everything from PCC I trust their products and foods they are so healthy, it’s not that I am obsessed with organic
PCC is a great market place with delicious organic food. Sometimes it can be on the pricey side but not always. Their fresh food is the best! Pizza is super good and always hot. They also have a great array of hot foods and soups.
Workers are not friendly is not good atmosphere went there once
I love this store and its employees. Always personable, lots of healthy and tasty selections. They always have at least one Vegetarian or Vegan options in hot bar, quite often they will even have vegan pizza available. Yum.
Expensive but good quality.
Great store. Knowledgeable staff and good variety of organic, locally sourced products. I love their hot foods for a quick bite or easy dinner.
Love this place! Heathy, organic foods in great variety. Helpful staff, and great hot food. There mac and cheese is the best in the world! prices are reasonable, go here to do all my shopping.
Good food. 1 out of 10 employees are kind. The rest act like youre tolerated. No Hello. How are you? Thank You. Have a Nice Day! Disgustingly unnecessarily snobbish. Its food for gods sake - not an elite club!
Deli is great. Staff engaging
Good selection of quality food products. It is pretty expensive. I think the same food would cost $50 here vs. $30 at Safeway. But like I said, its better quality so thats a trade-off you need to decide!
Great place for lunch. You can go there everyday for a week and get something different.
I had no idea this PCC Community Markets until my significant other told me we were going here. I was surprised! There it was, tucked away across Van Ness.
My instacart/covid store of choice.
Bright, clean with amazing fresh food selection!
I never knew I would feel so passionately about a grocery store, but here we are lol. Honestly, I love this place so much.Today I was walking up the stairs with food and kombucha in hand, lost my footing, tripped and fell. The kombucha shattered and glass went everywhere. Without missing a beat they told me to go grab another one free of charge. Didn’t act annoyed one bit. I’m a little jaded by the service industry myself... and I know I would have rolled my eyes lol.Everyone here is just always so kind and community oriented. The food is always quality, with so many healthy options on the hot bar that are actually delicious. Thanks for being the best grocery store ever.
Great place!
So ridiculously overpriced but if youre into super healthy extremely natural clean eating, this is the place to shop. They have lots of options and great premade food. Decent size with ample parking and friendly employees.
This location is currently closed. A new PCC is scheduled to open at the same location some time in 2019. The new store will be on the bottom floor of a multi-floor mixed-use building and feature underground parking. Stay Tuned.
One of my favorite PCC Natural Markets - West Seattle location. Its not as crowded as the other locations. The produce is always fresh and their breakfast tacos are AMAZING! The staff is very friendly. Theres always plenty of parking available.
It was very good. But now its closed. I heard it would be reopened once they are done with construction on that plot. Not sure if they will reopen temporarily somewhere else during construction.
Great little market for organic & natural foods and products. Their deli serves awesome food too! Best place to get soup 🍲😌.
Love shopping at PCC. Only the best produce.
High quality produce, vast bulk section and friendly, helpful staff
Another wonderful PCC store. Has the wide selection of produce, bulk goods, snacks, meat, wine, and more that most of the bigger stores have. The deli here has a decent number of choices.
Impressive lots better than Burien great choices & selections
Have always loved this old store. Nice layout and they have everything a tricky digestion could want. Always busy, always fresh, and always friendly.
Great little food co-open with good selection and great, helpful service. Prices are high, but comparable to other co-ops and Whole Foods type markets. Great atmosphere for a shopping experience.
Wow! The new West Seattle store is amazing!
Went here while visiting Seattle. Prices are good for the area. People were friendly. They also have a nice selection of take away food
Always a great selection - and a fantastic bulk section. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and always ready to help.Bring your jars to refill!
Love the new building! Fabulous as always!
Great natural grocer in West Seattle! We stopped by to pick up a few ingredients for a dinner and had a great time picking from their great selection of natural products.
Great neighborhood store with a selection of quality produce, meats, and other staples. Leans towards the granola end of the scale in the best possible way.
PCC: As Costly As Whole Foods; Not As Pretentious As A Metropolitan MarketI dont understand the cult-like dedication to these high-end, unaffordable grocery stores in Seattle. I suppose theyre really nice if you have lots of money, because you price out the riffraff from ever sharing the isles with you. But for me, the idea of spending $100 on a small bag of groceries seems absurd. The selection with most products is fine, and they do a good job on stocking quality produce. Meat is a bit too costly; seafood is downright unaffordable. The prepared foods section is kind of offensive, in my opinion. The food is often some bland, whitewashed version of an ethnic dish, sold for at least twice as much as it wouldve cost for you to go to White Center or the ID for the real thing. I wouldnt recommend grabbing your lunches here. Metropolitan Market, the king of overpriced grocers, has a much better prepared foods operation, as much as Id hate to steer you towards a store that charges $7.00 for a ham and cheese on white bread. Its not a horrible store by any means -- I just grow tired of the trend of pricing people out of food.As an upside, they will typically have the bizarre and one-off item youre looking for; like, say: a giant brick of sustainable bees wax! The Health and Wellness section is stocked with stuff like that.Their bulk section isnt a nice as the location on 99 (but it beats the pants off of QFC), and their produce is comically unaffordable; but if youre really all-in with the whole Organic Food thing, thats the whole point of the store, really.Props for the cooking classes, though. Thats really awesome.
This one is very nice with nice and helpful staff.
Its really good food, I just wish a cookie costed less than $400.
Very good selection, good people working here, adequate parking, good classes.NOTE: They are closing long term later this year due to property renovation. They should re-open in another year or two.
Love the store, the people, and the products. Took a star for the horrendous parking issues.
Brad new in West Seattle! Nice store 👍
Great store,great people!
This PCC is a little smaller than the one I have been to in Columbia City but it is also very well organised. There is a smaller hot food section but in general still great selection and wonderful service.
Great store that is closing May 31 2017 for 18 months.Good deli section, pizza, and natural food section with big bulk foods area.
