They have some amazing variety of tasty empanadas! Also a good spot to find very rare spices from across the globe. This is also my go to place for eucalyptus leaves which makes a great ingredient for my herbal tea.

For my American friends, this is a wonderful store if you are into cooking Latino food or Brazilian food. They have a large selection of Spanish typical brands, they sell fresh Meats and Poultry and Spanish pastries. The staff is friendly, warm and very helpful. They are Bilingual.Pessoal e muinto Carinhoso. Atenção total. We highly recommend this store. I am of a Latino background and I speak three languages. We do not have this type of store where we live so we took advantage since we were in the area. There is plenty of parking and please park diagonal with the front end of your car up on the sidewalk. Parking is tight. Dont block store entrances.Lets get Cooking!Vamos a Cocinar!

A collection of amazing fresh seasonings, all the sauces, cookies, breads, canned beans and all things goya! So nice to see a piece of culture tucked into the crazy pike place market. Love supporting the culture bought some snacks and spices cant wait to open them up!

A lot of Goya products, but extremely overpriced. Only if you are in rush and missing some sofrito or craving on spending to create a latin dish.

I went to El Mercado Latino to buy masa harina for tamales. I thought it was my best bet for authentic, high quality for a basic product. I purchased the 3-pound bag for $10.99 (not cheap) on November 17. I got it home, opened the bag and disappointedly saw those web by clumps that mean bugs have been there. The best-by date stamped on the bag was November 16 — the day before I bought it. I tossed the whole thing. And won’t be shopping there again.

Three words, Kurupi Yerba Mate. Was really excited that they have it there. Its hard to come by Yerba Mate to begin with, particularly Kurupi from Paraguay. They have it here, bought a couple of kilos before heading home to Phoenix. Love this little shop.

Wow.If you havent had the triple cream Brie with truffle, honey and hazelnut, you havent livedThis concoction gets my coworkers and I running to the kitchen when we know the office manager has ordered it for a get togetherDont get me wrong, the other platters of cheese and meat are tasty too...but we literally huddle around the truffle Brie confection and scrape every bit of it clean before moving on to the other platters. Sorry other cheese platters

9 dollar bottle of hot sauce? Yikes! However at the same time theres a lot of stuff here that you cant really find anywhere else for some reason so I suppose it just depends on how badly you want that imported bottle of sauce etc.

Over priced but you can get products that are hard to find elsewhere in Seattle. Most grocery chain stores just carry a small variety of MexTex pseudo-Mexican products. This store carries products and ingredients for all types of authentic Latin American cuisines. Personally I love Cuban cuisine and the mextex products available at grocery chain stores dont cut it, too spicy and variety too limited. I found all kinds of awesome ingredients here for making my favorite Cuban dishes but paid 3 times what they go for in cities where these same products are available in any grocery store. But... sometimes its just worth it when you cant find the products anywhere else. I would give this store 4 stars on product variety but 2 stars on price. So lets average it out to 3 stars keeping in mind that you can find almost anything you need for authentic Latin American cuisines not easily found elsewhere in Seattle and of course price and location, location, location go hand in hand.

Its great to have a place like this to get the necessary ingredients to cook dishes from our countries. We mostly get Items from Argentina like aji molido, filo dough crepes to make empanadas, spices to make chimuchurri, dulce de leche and Argentinian oregano. We used to get organic Mate there but the place is expensive and they dont always have it, we consume it a lot so now we order the Mate online from a great site. Its just fun to go to all the little shops at Pike Place Market. A very colorful, creative and eclectic place!
