I really am glad I found this place. I didnt look for any groceries but was curious about the hot food section. I tried the spicy teriyaki chicken and it was great. Very flavorful with the right amount of kick - in the range of medium-very spicy but great with plain rice. You also get a small salad with it. Service was very fast although I came very early. I would definitely come back for more!

Some people call this place a hole in the wall. I call a hidden gem. Definitely stop by if youre curious and in the mood for some solid Asian food!

I shop less frequently at this location. However, this location has been offering promotions good at this location only lately, which is why Ive been shopping there more often. There is good product selection, and staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful.

Love the teriyaki chicken! Best in Seattle in my opinion. (Spend a little more and substitute for the fried rice). I work in the area on occasions and make a point of visiting, even during the current pandemic.

Friendly crew. Price was right. The taste was good, but its chicken curry without the chicken! Thats all. I may or not return.

In town from Portland for the weekend. After having a VERY mediocre meal in an expensive restaurant, my boyfriend was still hungry and we stopped on our walk back to the hotel. Dont let the exterior scare you. It is an old school, nothing fancy about it and should we even go in kind of place, but do...do go in, you wont be disappointed. If it had any kind of atmosphere, we probably would have eaten there every night. The spicy chicken teriyaki is delicious, but not for the faint of heart.

Easy to pass by from street but shouldnt be missed. Made to order teriyaki menu is excellent, fresh vegetables, quality meat, delicious clean flavor and well prepared, not saucy, perfect amount of spicy kick, one of the best teriyaki in downtown Seattle. Made to order sandwich deli and usual small grocery items and beverages. Old and a bit dingy feeling but courteous service and excellent hot food! Dont judge quality from exterior. Convenient downtown location to hotels, office buildings, library and I-5.

If you work downtown and want terakyi, get it from here. I forget that its a convenience store, because the Terakyi here is so good! Solid specials, if you need a quick drink or random snacks its good for that too. Fast service, reasonably priced, I always call in because there is a line at lunch.

I eat here quite a bit. The Chicken terriyaki is a must as well as the Katsu chicken! The side egg rolls are also worth trying. Ive pretty much had everything on the menu and was never disappointed. If you want more rice with the Terriyaki chicken, ask for no salad.

This is a hidden gem for lunch. However it gets down right busy during the lunch rush hours.Being busy is a good indicator of how quickly they turn over their produce. Which means youre getting youre not getting old twice defrosted chicken served to you.Okay so how about the food???This will be an instant hit for you when your looking for Teriyaki type food. It will hit the spot. For sure.Take advantage of the lunch specials. You get so much food for the price that two people can share!!Youll be able to your typical entree items such as teriyaki chicken or beef or maybe feeling adventurous getting the combo. Then you can order you basic gyoza and egg rolls. Both of which are also yummy.A point of clarification about the name of this place. Its truly not a grocery store where you think of fresh produce, a meat department, and so on, this location serves only food and sells drinks. . Sodas, beer, and wine.Find this hole in the wall and enjoy yourself.
