We love visiting here. Always something new and the floral dept is beautiful. The baked goods are wonderful, the meat dept options are great and I love their okra chips!

Love this market. A little pricey but is way choose it over Safeway. The area always looks safe (I ride my bike here for groceries). Definitely going to be my default market for groceries.

We come here on a relatively frequent basis. Good Food Shop! This huge, big store had everything we wanted. The displays of food are so tempting that it is hard to resist purchasing even more than one came up for. The shop is tidy, with polite workers.

Great store! More expensive, but great produce and meats and cheeses. Very clean, really helpful and pleasant staff. They also have a terrific deli.

Prices are a bit higher here than most grocery stores, but the quality of everything (especially their produce) is superb.

I really like this market. Love the products, love that there are options I cant find at more standard grocery stores. Honestly, I dont go in for the more all natural or else approach to things so its a bit of a bummer when I cant find, say, very wide selection in the first aid aisle, but understanding the benefits and limitations to specialty stores makes it easier to shop there with well-set expectations. Things can get pricy, but its worth looking through. I use it as a supplemental store to more standard grocery options.

This place is so good for fresh fruit and Veggies and we really like their hummus and chicken sausage.

This store is delicious but pricey. Be prepared to drop cash on beautiful eye candy. If you’re looking for a good substitute for restaurant Margaritas, during Covid social distancing, you MUST buy the Agalima Margi mix for your fix. Take it from a San Diego Native that has sampled a few...my fellow SoCal cohorts agree. Cheers!

The best part of the shop is that you can do anything you want quickly and easily. Theyre always where I get my frozen food, and its delicious! Many of the items are reasonably priced! The room is large and immaculate! This is such a lovely place!

I think this is a pretty good grocery store. Nice, kinda bougie. They have a unique selection, especially on things like beer (international imports!). Its not the most expensive but its not the cheapest. Theyre union but theyre not Kroger.

The best market in Seattle! They have the best fruits and veggies, most amazing food (from soups to mexican rice to delicious pasta) We literally think they should open a restaurant :) On top of it, everyone is super nice and friendly!

I have been coming to Ballard for years and love it. The store is massive and have a great variety of food. The quality of food and produce is very high but also comes at a cost. The prices are a bit higher but I am happy to pay them when I know Im paying for quality.

The store has a very organized setup and it is easy to get what I need. All the offerings are of high quality and very reasonably priced. The vitamin and supplement selection is awesome too. The staff is friendly, helpful, and insightful. This supermarket is great! I love everything about the store. Highly recommended!

If you want quality meats and produce in Ballard proper, the ol BM (sorry) is always there for you. Also has great imports and a fantastic beer and wine selection. Used to be 24hrs but I assume thats been adjusted for covid. Only doesnt get 5 stars because it is pricey. Ill come here to get a few highlights for a meal, but staples are too $$

4.5 stars. Love Ballard Market! Best produce in the city, friendly staff, cool owners and tons of gourmet and natural foods populate the shelves here. Their sales are decent and their weekly Big Board Buys offer 6-10 great buys, some, simply amazing deals. They stock lots of regional/local items and their bulk section rocks. Wish they had more stores! This is the only Town & Country market in Seattle, though they own 5 other markets in the burbs and the Islands.

Plenty of parking not overly crowded had Wells Fargo shelves can easy checkout Pleasant cashiers ..... AAA+++AAA

Really aswone place, great food and it is not an uptight place to shop and did I mention they are a safe place to shop.They do onlinedrive and pick ups and they offer a senior hour Mon,Wed,Fri,from 9 am till 11 am.they do follow all C.D.C and states Covid-19protocols

Great staff and selection, but poor handicap accommodation. The customers are like strange pod people whove recently taken over Ballard #NOCD. Staff, against their better nature, seem hellbent on bending to those peoples needs.

Lovely store with great inventory! It’s what Whole Foods used to be before it went downhill. This place is actually enjoyable to shop at with quality ingredients.

Little pricey but the quality matches the price. Tasty hot food and the hot sandwiches are my go to item. Good quality meats and workers here are always helpful. Best part is they allow you to return anything. We love to try new things and this policy is the main reason we come here. It allows us to try new items that we wouldnt have tried if it wasnt for this place.

New shellfish, Indian tandori, Korean, French macarons, Mexican dishes, organic fruit and vegetables, nuts, berries, honey, and both a blues artist wailing on his harmonica and a bluegrass party plucking mandolins and banjos were among the offerings.

Great store and great staff. Not the largest store or the best selection of products but what they have is nice and the people there are the best.

Ballard market is not only convenient for me but it is like a good place to find just about everything you need.

Absolutely love this grocery store! In particular, I got for their bulk foods section as I am trying to limit the amount of waste I create. The staff is very helpful and super friendly. If you use your own bags, the reduce the amount of your total by 5 cents per bag! Very easy to walk to if you live in the area!

It is a lot more friendly there than Safeway!!!!!

DO NOT GO TO BALLARD MARKET IF YOUR ASIAN UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE COMPLETELY IGNORED!I have gone to Ballard market for about a year because they have a healthy selection of quality food, but the service there has gone down drastically to deplorable.I was waiting in line with the person at the register looking up but not acknowledging me for over a minute with no one in front of me. I waited to give her a chance to do her job, but had to go to the other lane that opened up to get no acknowledgement again. The guy on the register was talking to his colleagues about breakfast items while he was ringing me up. I smiled and thanked him for giving my receipt and left feeling upset and sad that this happened.I am posting this just so other Asian people can avoid this mistreatment.

Nicey but pricey. They are in the same price point as Whole Foods but with better service. Outstanding meat, poultry, fish department. Their produce is probably the best quality you can find in the north end, you pay for it but it never disappoints. I miss the old Equal Exchange Coffee place however,

Tasty and warm food bar, salad and soup bar. There is also a fresh sushi bar! They have a variety of beer, wine & an incredible produce section. It has a high level of quality and the staff has always been helpful to me.

This is my neighborhood market, and I consider myself very lucky. Great veggies, meats, fish, good selection of prepared foods. Focus on locally grown. There is always something on the big board that I want to stock up on. I dont need or want to shop anywhere else.

My family loves this place. We prefer the Met Market, but go to the Ballard Market when we are close by or coming back from that direction. They offer many options and the sandwiches made to order are delicious. The prices and sales are not always as great as other places, but they continue to deliver high quality food that I can rarely complain about.

They consistently have some of tne best produce of any market in the area. Its hard to resist filling the cart with all the great items they have on display. Big selection of organics. In the summer the fruits are great and the variety is also very good. Dont shop here if you are looking to save money. The prices on fresh products reflect the quality on offer.

Besides being conveniently located for me, I love the offerings Ballard Market has. I may not only shop here, but its great for my rotation.Everything is always fresh, and quality is great. I keep an eye on their sales and always find something new and interesting to try.

Best grocery store in the ballard area

I am 82 and live at Merrill Gardens Ballard so we must take this into consideration when rating Ballard Market. Lovely huge clean well organized store,very helpful happy people.All the food well presented,and large selection of prepared things.A five star shopping stop for occupants of surrounding mega-apartments.It was fun and I did buy a lot,their spice and condiment section is grand.It was fun.

Quality fruit and vegetables. I didnt buy any of the fresh flowers but saw a couple bouquets being delivered, beautiful design. My main reason for shopping Ballard Market that day was to pick up a quick snack. The hot food and salad bar has a variety of delicious options.

Best grocery store around. Fair prices with top notch food quality. Best produce in the region and a huge selection. Meats are always fresh. Dairy section has many local products. The staff is always wonderful and friendly. Usually has an outdoor BBQ on the weekends in the summer showcasing local products. Cant say enough praise for this place. You need to support them so more grocery stores like this exist.

Great except I wish they had Resers potato salad. You can only buy there potato salad. And the quantity I want would have cost me $30 which is an average size of Resers potato salad which cost maybe $8. They just need another alternative to their own potato salad otherwise very nice store.

Not my regular store. I stop in once and a while when Im in the area. It has a nice selection of upper end products, a lovely produce section and a much nicer deli than the chain supermarkets.

Friendly and helpful staff, I love them! Fresh produce. Great meat & fish guys, help me figure out which cut &/or how to cook it. They have food demos & recipes, and samples of yummy dishes. I depend upon the floral selection for seasonal new gifts for the people that already have everything else. Just remodeled, sushi cafe added, growler dispenser, and more :D
