Not the speediest service, but the workers are knowledgeable and thorough. They also offer notary services. Very local vibe. I was a bit put off by the Jehovas Witness materials, but to each his own.

He refused service to my ninety some years old mother because she has a heavy accent and is barely walking. According to him she didnt speak English.

Very convenient location and much quicker service than post office. However dont purchase stamps here. I selected the Sesame Street stamp sheet of 16 stamps. Sign in store said $11, I was charged $13 total (taxes I guess?). Some of my letters were overweight so I needed extra postage and I was in a hurry so I bought them. However I went home and checked the prices of stamps at USPS (Id never bought stamps before) and the same Sesame Street ones were only $8.80, $10 after tax. Cheaper to buy stamps on USPS.com

Unlike the Post Office the customer line was 6+ feet of space between us. Although swamped the Mailbox West staff were friendly, calm, good natured and efficient! Easy to support a small business like this! Will definitely be back!!

Been a customer for about 2 years. Owner is very kind and reasonable. He recently stayed open 10 minutes late so that I could pick up a package after close.

Head and shoulders above the post office, Staples and FedX and UPS stores. They take care of all document copying, scanning and emailing, FedX, USPS and UPS pickups, mailbox services and anything to do with shipping with attentive and expert care. Always a place to park, too!

Most unprofessional business Ive worked with in the past 10 years. They are slow, incompetent, impolite, useless ... the owner shouldnt run a business based on simple logistics. Every pickup, every drop off over a year was a disappointment. Now they just cost our business over $600 despite clear instructions that have been provided twice and agreed to. Never again.

After using the place for a while I realized they are always busy, a lot of people utilize this service. The owner is a very patient and nice person. He is as nice of a guy as there is. The level of service to each person is fantastic. Be ready to wait a little as he gives everyone help.

Good resource for the occasional shipper: They sell boxes and can handle your packing and shipping needs no matter how large or small. Full service for postal and other parcel services, send or receive.We rent a small box here and all our package deliveries are always safe and secure . Lets be honest: In todays urban environment if you expect your packages to be safe and not stolen from your front porch, you are not living in reality. Thats a fact. And if you think the shippers are responsible you are wrong because if the package gets to your porch and it is subsequently stolen they are not responsible. Sure Amazon may absorb that and resend your item... but not forever. And a small business (you are supporting small businesses I hope) cant survive by replacing items that are taken from your porch. Their responsibility stops when that package touches your property.Vince and his gang are great. All postal and other shipping can be purchased or sent to/from from here. The most courteous, helpful, friendly mailing services center I have visited. Went above and beyond to help me ship a keyboard.

Went it for a notary, and was amazed at how friendly and knowledgeable the staff was. It was a quick (cheap!) easy process and I found out that I can drop off my Amazon prepaid returns there for free, as well as ship other items. Great local store!

With Vince buying the Business, every decision by him has been made with the Customer in mind, I feel Vince and all his Employees treat customers exactly how they personally would want to be treated. Weird And UnfriendlyI didnt think it was possible to create a worse Post Office than what our government has come up with -- and then, I came here.The second star is there only because my package was actually delivered.Shipping something here is so surreal and strange. You ask about pricing and numbers are quickly thrown at you. If you ask again what those numbers were, you are given a dirty look and treated poorly, and you swear that the prices were different that second time. The owner mostly just hovers and judges you the entire time.If you bring your own packaging and they give you the runaround about how you need to use a standard box (which they sell; theyre just recycled boxes). They cant tell you when the couriers typically come for package collection, despite the fact that they do this for a living.Youre finally ready to pay and they tell you about their card minimum limit, and youre forced to just sacrifice a few bucks to hit the limit or just leave.Just leave.If you ever need to use one of these middleman couriers, the only decent one Ive ever used is Sip & Ship in Greenwood. Its a shame we dont have them out in West Seattle.

I went to mail a box, and found that if I used a different box I could save some money in chipping. The guy who helped me, the owner?, was super friendly and very helpful. I would use them again for sure

I love this place! One of favs in West Seattle! It used to be owned by this old dude, named Barry, who smoked like a chimney and cussed like a sailor. Since Vince bought the biz last year, the place has a great vibe. No more smokey smell! Its clean and bright. Vince, Natasha, and Jay are so cool and super nice. They remember my name and make me feel like Im part of a community. They feature local artists. (Yea, West Seattle!) And, theyve got some fun cards, plus tons of boxes, office supplies, stamps, plus they take drop offs for UPS, the Post Office and Fedex. I rent a mailbox here so 1) I dont have to worry about giving out my home address and 2) No packages stolen off my porch! Around Christmas I was running around with my baby in the car and called to see if theyd come out to grab some packages out of my car. Not only did they come running but they did it with a smile. Thanks so much Mailbox West! West Seattle loves you!

So nice to have a place for my packages to be delivered that I know will be safe, sound and dry. Vince is fantastically caring and helpful as are the other employees.
