Great little spot in Wedgewood with great pasta, local and imported cheeses, etc. Loved the warm service! The fresh pappardelle was still perfect the day after, and we’ve been enjoying the spread for a few days.

This place is a real gem. Ive worked my way through almost all the pasta options and everything has been delicious. Their sauces are on point, too. This place also has a well-curated selection of add-on, various veg, in season, amazing mushrooms, a selection of wine and beer, plus some stellar dessert items.

Was looking for lasagne noodles. Not a lot of variety of pasta. Two big freezers, one full of meat, the other, ravioli. A variety of miscellaneous artesianal products being sold by in their showcase up front. Meh.

This place is a local gem. The pasta is the best fresh pasta we’ve had outside of Italy (so much better than fresh pasta bought at Met Market, etc) and a better price. Very friendly and knowledge staff.

Let me tell you about how special this place is! They handled a special order just for me, 3ft long spaghetti noodles!! We wanted to have a massive party with enormous spaghetti and they delivered! Rather than just get the regular cut they made us a special batch and we got 10 lb of crazy fresh pasta. Everyone at the party was having a blast. Weve never had so much fun eating spaghetti and it was so tasty and fresh. Not only that, it only took 3 minutes to cook! They also offer pasta infused with red bell peppers and other crazy ingredients if you want a slight kick instead of the classic flavors. Be sure to try their sauces too, the orange one is the best!!

I work with Alessandro and the team on a business relationship and theyre always so accommodating and eager. Ive had in depth discussions about supporting local businesses and Alessandro is a young (ish) guy who will be around for years to come, investing and strengthening our local food economy. Excited for what lies ahead!

Hot Dayum. This place is phenomenal. I found this place by browsing the food delivery apps since everything is closed for Quarantine 2020. I decided to buy some for my boyfriends birthday, and thankfully the store was open! I bought the regular spaghetti, the tri-colored gnocchi, and both the palomino and pomodoro sauces. I was very pleasantly surprised. The Pasta: The spaghetti was done in 3 minutes just like the package instructed, and it was perfectly al dente. The pasta had an excellent flavor, exactly what you should expect from fresh pasta, and its made using semolina (which any good, self-respecting Italian pasta should use, thank you very much). Have yet to try the gnocchi, but since I prefer mine in a non-red sauce, ill be trying this later. Im sincerely regretting not picking up any pesto since I have no doubt theirs is divine. Now for the sauces. The Sauces: Bravissimo. The palomino sauce was delectable. It wasnt too sweet, acidic, or greasy, and it had the right amount of texture from the tomato pieces. I think this was my favorite. If youre used to a sweeter sauce, then get the palomino sauce. Its not sweet (I dont think red sauces should really be all that sweet anyway), but is sweeter than the pomodoro sauce. The pomodoro sauce is not sweet, and though it has red pepper flakes, dont worry, its not spicy, but has a shadow of heat that perfectly balances the other flavors. The sauce is similar in look and texture to Buca di Beppos, but the flavor is better and it isnt sweet (and dont get me wrong, I LOVE Buca di Beppo, but this sauce is better IMO). The pomodoro was enhanced by a good-quality asiago/parm blend (none of that shelf-stable shaky cheese with the green lid!) since the cheese lent the sweetness the pomodoro didnt provide (and rightfully so). I felt this sauce was slightly more acidic than the palomino. The Bread: I dont have a clue why that *one review* mentioned the baguette was small and over-priced. The baguette was $5 and was definitely a full-sized baguette. Even if I hadnt read that the bread was locally made, the freshness gives it away. It was damn good quality baguette. Well worth the $5, and Im sure as heck glad I bought it from La Pasta instead of QFC. I turned half of it into garlic bread, and used it to soak up the sauce left over on the plate (as you should). The Service: Very nice man with the slightest of accents. He was so helpful and patient since I kept saying oh and can I also get a... As in true non-american fashion, you have to ASK if you want help or have a question, which I LOVE because I hate being bothered when Im browsing. Ill definitely be coming back.Truly, well worth getting your pasta here. I love that I didnt have to go into Pike Place to get something special. Everything tasted great and was fresh, and exactly what I was hoping it would be. This was the most excellent dine-in birthday dinner and I didnt have to bother with any real mess. Its the best pasta Ive had since Italy. Bless you people at La Pasta!

Ran in to buy bread on a whim. The person seemed upset that I thought it was a bakery. I had seen bread in there before. Its a pasta house . The bread is meant to compliment the pasta. Really? Didnt want the $3. 1/10 of a bagette anyway, or your little dose of attitude.
