Devon came out to check out our shower door which was older and off the track and leaking. He added silicone around the door to stop the leaks, fixed some old problems, tightened up the rollers, and now it works great. In my opinion if you are getting a glass shower door installed then NW Shower door is the best company to consider. Many glass companies dabble in shower doors but if they encounter any difficulties they may not only fail but may also not back up their work. NW Shower Door will back up their work.We have a complicated issue with our glass shower door due to construction problems at the point of attachment. Dave has always been available to come out and adjust the door at no cost. After a few years we again started having problems with the door but misremembered the company name and called another glass company. This was a costly mistake. The people that were sent out clearly had no idea how to solve the problem but were fine with charging us money for making the problem worse. In the end we checked back with our original contractor and got the correct information. The other company was trying to sell us a complete glass reinstall. Instead Dave came out, worked around the other company’s half-baked hacks and fixed it. At no charge. Years later.I’ve never had this level of support from a contractor and I’ve worked with many good contractors that have gone out of their way to fix problems. I think Dave sees issues like this as a personal challenge and enjoys solving problems. When he showed us the source of the problem there was a degree of analysis that was way beyond the capability of the other installers.If you want a glass shower door installed and that installation done right and backed up by a company with integrity, use NW Shower Door. They were more knowledgeable than our contractor, making a few recommendations that greatly improved the look of the installation. This year, we called them back because the wheels on the shower doors were not working as smoothly. Even though it was a repair and not just a new sale, they were responsive, prompt and helpful. This is a story of a company that puts their reputation and its customers satisfaction above everything else.Last year, we have our bathroom renovated and wanted a walk-in shower with glass door for my mothers wheelchair. Through our general contractor, we were introduced to Northwest Shower Door and we selected a design that works for us. During the design process, David Greer had graciously guided us through the considerations to fit our need and ended up recommended a product that fits our need.Since it was part of the general contract, the shower door was installed by our general contractor/builder. Again, David stepped in to provide technical supports to the installation team.Fast forward... a few months after door installed, the doors become stuck and heavy to open. We called David after desperate attempts at contacting our original contractor. Since, the door was not installed by Northwest Shower Door, we prepared to pay for any work performed by NSD (at this point, the doors become stuck). I recently had a glass shower panel installed with a digital printed grid embedded within the glass. The final product turned out great and all the staff I interacted with were pleasant to deal with.Unfortunately, they were let down by their manufacturer on multiple occasions requiring two remakes of the glass and several slipped delivery dates. This led to my five week (granted its an estimate) delivery timeline instead becoming an eleven week wait. Whilst I understand that problems happen I would suggest NWSD make the following changes to improve customer experience in the future:* Make the additional time for this specially processed glass known to the customer prior to them ordering.* In cases where there is a delay, double down on your communication. I had to ring multiple times to get an update as opposed to being reached out to proactively with status updates.* Make sure that your manufacturers have the same high standards that you do to reduce the number of remakes required

Tbh not sure where to start with a review of NWSD generally, and Dave specifically. Dave and his team have done a number of glass and mirror projects in our home over the years; weve come to know and appreciate them more and more and heartily, heartily HEARTILY recommend them to anyone, and with pleasure. Contacted, appointment for measurement was done in a few days, received quote in less than 2 days, down payment and BOOM I now have two beautiful shower doors that open with one finger - silently. Excellent quality materials. They arrived on time, as scheduled - did a beautiful installation, were done with both doors in less than 3.5 hours, cleaned up everything and left both bathrooms in beautiful condition. 3 piece shower door, measured, fabricated and installed. The clamps for the side pieces were supposed to fit above a row of decorative tile that ended at the glass, but they put the clamp behind the tile Instead. Now I have a big gap at the end of the tile and it looks odd - seeing the top clamp but the lower one is partially hidden.

We had just bought a 1930 house with the tiniest bathroom. We did a full bathroom remodel, the only problem we had was finding a shower door that fit the small opening between the sink and toilet. Dave came in and did a great assessment while we were still in the middle of construction. Pretty unimpressed, the guy came and they accommodated our need for swiftness for the install but... the glass was rectangular not the special cut I was hoping for and the install damaged our ceiling. We didnt notice till after which makes me suspect the installer was trying to hide that fact. If you come here they will do the job but probably not well, which is what I gathered from other posts but thought I would give it a shot, oh well. I lost this time.

Ordered 5 pieces of glass for my door. It took about 3 phone calls and 2 emails to get a quote from them. It should have been a sign that this company is not going to care much about customers. I decided to go forward with the order. Unfortunately I had to call in several times to check the order status because none of the former promises to send me an email or call me with time estimates realized. On the day of delivery (after about a month) I had to call in again to ask what happened to my delivery time slot of 8am. The lady on the phone told me that they got held up with something and that the glass will be delivered sometime during the day. Its almost the end of the day and I am still hanging with no glass and no update from them. I dont think I will choose this company ever again.

Great installation back in 2011, and door adjustment about three years ago. Timely and responsive. I requested another door adjustment about 4 weeks ago and was told they had to make a proposal. After no proposal showed up, I called again and learned that there is a $100 fee just for the house call. Thats for a 15 to 20 minute adjustment to keep the door from hitting the adjacent glass panel. And thats after they adjusted the door once already. Way too much. Ill have to look elsewhere.

My elderly parents bought a shower enclosure from Northwest Shower Door to complete a bathroom model to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary and host 10 family members from around the world. Dave said it would be 3-4 weeks to installation. After my parents paid under that agreement and waited 3 weeks, they called to find installation wont happen until almost 5 1/2 weeks. This is after the big day which was disclosed at the measuring phase. My parents will have to share one bathroom with 10 guests as they celebrate their anniversary thanks to the delay. Shame to take advantage of them and ruin what should be a happy family event Northwest Shower Door.
