What an excellent friendly local gaming store! I have gone to several of their Friday game nights, and always had a great time. The staff and the patrons have all been extremely amicable and Ive made new friends there.The library is extensive and fairly current for those in the cult of the newand youll also find several modern classics. They also have some drinks and snacks for those long games youd be playing here. Cant say enough good things about the store!

So many puzzles! Lots of games and different age ranges. They have a have library where you can try games before you buy them, they buy used games, and give you points in money spent that goes towards a future purchase. This place is great!

If Mox is the fine dining of game stores in Seattle, Blue Highway is the Soul kitchen. This is the place you go when you want to know who everyone is, and you want them to know you as well. Its cozy, its well kept, and its a fantastic place to hang out for a few hours, play some games with friends, and chat with the super cool people who work here. They have a great selection of games both to purchase and to play, tons of table space, and they let you bring food in from the local restaurants. I couldnt ask for a better local game shop.

Lots of games and puzzles to pick from. Probably the most puzzles I have seen at a game store before. They also have a program to buy used games for in-store credit, and you can get points for money spent there that can go towards taking money off future purchases.

If you want a Carcassonne expansion kit, this is the place! My family really enjoys playing this game and expansion kits are a great way to add variety to a game we already enjoy playing. When were ready for our next challenge, well be back.

They make the most of their space! The products are well merchandised. They have a section in the back where you can play test most of the games before you buy them. They also have a used section upstairs and its the only store Ive seen that does that. They have lots of games that started on kickstarter which I thought was cool. I drove up from Olympia to visit them again.

I enjoyed a recent visit to Blue Highway Games. A very well-stocked store with extremely helpful and friendly personnel.Not only do they have a great selection of new games, but also sport a large collection of used games. They are doing the gaming community right with a large number of events, many of which seem to be aimed at bringing people together and highlighting/teaching newer releases.They were very patient and helpful with me last month during my visit; answered my questions and even opened a game and scared up players for a demo for me.My only disappointment not living closer!

Everyone here is incredibly approachable and knowledgeable on all things board game related. They have a great board game library and have a wonderful environment to play in.

This place is awesome! You can come in and play any of the games in their library at their tables for free, and their staff are super friendly and fun! Their game is selection is simply rad, and theyre quite knowledgeable about board games! They also know a bit about card games as well as tabletop gaming and even teach classes for each! If you happen to be looking for a group to play certain games with, want to learn about some games, or want to start your own gaming group, they have a poster board in the back for people to post bulletins for such occasions with info and times for meetups!This place has tons of events too so grab a calendar and see whats up! :D

A great spot on top of the hill, very friendly and knowledgeable staff to help you pick out a game. They have a wide selection of games, from family and kid friendly to heavy strategic games, to classics and bits and pieces for games.In the back of the store, they have a library with most of the games they sell that staff are willing to help set up, and anyone can come in to test out which is amazing!

The atmosphere is amazing the folks running the place couldnt be any cooler then they already are. I had never even heard of the place till a friend of mine mentioned that these folks were putting on a Board Game Life Auction. Not only was it supper fun to have a day out with my friend but the people all there were just a blast to be with. 10/10 would do it all again and totally plan on it too!

Best game shop ever. Generous game library and table space downstairs and in the loft. The employees are always welcoming and helpful in finding a game and giving gaming advice. I like their best of/top selling game charts by the register. The cherry on top is that you can have a beer too!

There are two stores in Seattle that gave a great selection and a knowledgeable staff. This is one of those two stores.They have a free play library of board games, and some great neighborhood food options that they seems ok with being brought in ( bring some napkins and keep those games separate of your food ;D ).In addition, Ive found that this place also has tons of harder to find games, and usually is the shop that has certain games if my closer game shop doesnt.

Fantastic game shop! They have the latest new debuts, old favorites, and unexpected finds. They specialize in board games but you find a selection of RPGs and card games such as Magic. Board games are divided out by theme, with a whole wall of family games and a section for 2 player games. The staff is super knowledgeable and they have a fabulous selection of games to try out.

I had a great online ordering experience from Blue Highway. I ordered from them instead of *cough* a certain larger online retailer, because I was buying for friends who lived near Seattle and I wanted their gift to ship from nearby to show up on time. This is the only shop that focuses on selling board games! For most board game shops, they need magic for the income. But this place only has magic once or twice a week! Its very family friendly and you can meet some great people here. The owner Scott is very nice, and he has a HUGE board game library, that you can play in the store.

This cute store had a BIG selection of games to select from. A knowledgeable staff member assisted me in selecting a great game for our family. This is quite a challenge as we have a lot of games already. I also added that we needed a smaller sized game given the constraints of our luggage. I was also able to find the invisible ink yes and know books there!

My husband and I moved to queen Ann recently and we are hooked on this store! The staff has recommended so many great games for us! They have yet to lead us astray. And if you arent sure you can always play it before buying it. Best game store!

Blue Highway Games is a rock star in the board and card community of the Puget Sound. Located right on the top of Queen Anne Hill, I almost view Blue Highway as a sort of palace. Its fun and exciting, with a huge library of games to play in the store for free, and they host Magic: The Gather, Pokemon, D&D, and other games and tournaments weekly. The staff is friendly, and will always point you in the right direction for new games to buy and try.Theyre open game nights on Friday and Saturday evenings cant be beat: full of fine folks from around the Sound, and lots of games to play!

Amazing selection of board games

Quiet little shop down in Queen Anne with a great selection of board games and card games along with a couple of tables and a library of board games that you can try with your friends. In terms of price nothing here is cheaper than something like Amazon but I find it more meaningful to spend the extra couple dollars to support a local store than a giant like Amazon.

Seriously my favorite store in Seattle. Whenever I am within a few miles I have to just pop in, even just to look with envy at the game selection. They have an awesome library of games to test out and play, plenty of space and it even smells normal!!Staff are amazingly friendly and knowledgable. Went there with my parents and wife to check out a game once and the employee sat down and explained all of the rules in an easy to understand way.They have a frequent buyers program where after spending $200 in store you get a $20 gift card. They do loads of events and game nights as well.Definitely recommend!
