First time here. Have heard only good things from my great mechanic, friends and also my wife about this business.They did not disappoint. The very knowledgeable, no nonsense representative (Janice?) not only found all that I needed, she also gave me an education. Great resource.

I work at a local company and we have had a hide-a-bed couch sitting in one of our storage spaces needing to be assembled. We couldn’t find the hardware and the employee who took it into pieces no longer works with us. Always friendly and super helpful! I come in there looking for part for that odd guitar or drum projects that somehow have a unique shape or length. They go to the ends of the earth to match up what I bring in and treat me the same as if I was dropping big bucks, even if it is for 1 or 2 bolts or washers. I call that great customer service! Keep up the great work!

Excellent service, the gentleman who helped me at the counter was very nice and extremely helpful. I came in with a list of what sizes of screws I needed and he double checked everything and gave me a ballpark on what the final tally would be before he went and started to assemble my order. Within about 5 minutes, likely less, he came out with everything I needed sorted into individual plastic bags and quickly and professionally rang me up. When I first walked in I mentioned that I needed these screws for use in RC cars and we chatted a bit about what RCs I run and he mentioned that he had friends who were also into RC. It was a really pleasant conversation and made my whole experience that much better. He really made me feel like he cared that I got what I needed. Plus, their screws are comparable to what I paid on Amazon for similar screws, which likely the Tacoma Screw hardware is of better quality. I just looked through what I got and it all seems top-notch. I wish I could give a 6 star review. Tacoma Screw hit it out of the ballpark and will be my go-to for hardware from here on out, and I will be recommending them to everyone I know every chance I get.

Excellent! I had spent so much time going to the big box retailers (Lowes, Home Depot) looking for a specific flooring screw and feeling like I had no idea what I was doing or what to look for. The staff at this location figured it out within seconds and had me all taken care of within minutes. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. We even chatted a bit about the project that I was going to be using the flooring screws for and they gave me some tips. I always appreciate a place where the staff shows that they genuinely care about their customers, and this Tacoma Screw location does exactly that!

I needed just a couple of long screws to mount a baby gate in a weird location, so I went here. They found me exactly what I needed and gave me the two screws on the house. I will definitely be coming here again. They have tons of hand tools in weird sizes, plenty of electrical stuff, and lots more.

This place is great for getting all the fasteners and bolts I need. They are very knowledgeable and go out of their way to help find what you need. I also buy general construction supplies here like scrubs, drill bits, grinding discs etc.

Quality hard-to-find tools right to hand, now, not later. Counter staff pleasant and helpful to amateurs, unlike some other trade-oriented vendors.And of course: just about any fastener youll ever need.Life is short-- dont waste it swimming upstream in a big box store.

I was looking for a screw for the bottom of my portable dishwasher and had gone to 4 different hardware stores including where we bought the unit. Two appliance stores and no-one carried this type of screw. Tacoma Screw however had the part I needed. Not only did they carry that rare screw but they put washers on it and gave it to me for free. Never in my life has anyone been so eager to help when not even getting paid. They are the tops in my book!

I couldnt really get him to understand what I needed and instead he went on trying to make me feel stupid and acted like a smart guy... Come on.. Gruff and to the point. Most of the hardware bins are behind the counter so that you and me dont mess it all up. These guys know their thread pitches! Lots and lots of options. Pick yourself up a 3 pound catalog on your way out the door.

This is one of my favorite places to buy hardware. Even though Im only buying for my small home projects I always get excellent service and expert advice. Their fasteners selection is the best in town.

I needed a special size screw that i could not find any where else. They special ordered them for me even though I only needed 3! They were super resposive about the order and the order came in really fast. Great customer service.

I stopped by to pick up a small screw for my hand held tripod and the guy went out of his way to put a solution together for me. They have everything and are also friendly. good combination.

Whenever I need an odd screw, I come here. I only needed two the last time so they gave them to me for free. Good people good service. Kind of makes me wish I needed more oddly sized screws more often.

Tacoma Screw has a great variety of fasteners and tools sold at wholesale prices. The employees can be a bit gruff but are always more than willing to help. its best to find what you are looking for online first and go in with a part number or size.

This is THE place to go for finding any type of bolts/screws/nails or specialty fasteners. Excellent and knowledgeable customer service.

I assume these guys are dealing with much bigger customers than a wrench turner like me, but every time I stop in to pick up a couple of things (gloves, screws, etc.) all the employees are helpful and friendly. Makes me kind of wish I had a business that required more of their supplies honestly.

Tacoma screw is a godsend in this part of town. Wholesale fastener suppliers are generally relegated to the industrial suburbs so having one in Freelard really reduces part runs. Im not generally shopping for anything weird so when I need 500 1/4-20 nuts theyve got it on hand.Also, the staff is capable of matching whatever youre looking for, just be prepared for complicated questions. There are a lot of nuts and bolts out there so you have to either be very specific or show them an example of what it is you trying to buy.

Great store...but who the heck closes at 5pm on a weekday? So frustrating...
