Awsome! They had exactly what I was looking for! No other branch hardware store had it

I was very pleased with their lighting fixtures and bulbs. My antique floor lamp takes a larger based 💡bulb and I thought I might have to buy online...but no worries McLendon Hardware always has what I need. The staff are always friendly and helpful.

For the size of the store their selection is second and none! Some of the new people dont know as much as the older people did back in the day but in general all the staff are very helpful and knowledgeable too. So happy that they are in our neighborhood.

Mclendons Hardware is the place to find hard-to-find plumbing parts.They had 5/16 soft copper tubing by the foot!Just what I was looking for.Plenty of knowledgeable staff.Great Hardware store!

This is an awesome store, with a lot of cool stuff. Came here before Christmas and it was stocked with lights, Christmas villages and decorations. The people are extremely helpful. This store is one of the best organized places I have seen.

Ive done business with McLendons for 40 years. Their employees are knowledgeable and always willing to give you time. Unlike the big stores.McLendon is always my 1st choice for hardware.

I love this store!!! Came in today after a terrible experience at Home Depot, where it was impossible to get any help and once I did they told me they don’t cut piping for customers huh?!! I left and came to Mclendons. Zach stopped me and ask if I need help and with in 2mins I had my freshly cut piece of piping I needed and about three other questions answered. Zach you saved the day. This is true customer service and care.

Staff is helpful, and it still feels like a local hardware place as opposed to a box store.

Key cutting done easily & They always seem to have the unique items needed for RV and trailer hardware or remodelling hardware..* Easily found the CO meter I was looking for!And, theyll even fill your propane!

The rudest 2 employees Ive ever seen! One tall white dude yelled at people taking too long in the bathroom . One tall black guy was in a check out stand on his phone then he yelled at a customer because he didnt know what size of bag he wanted! The customer left in a huff! I left then without buying anything. Wont ever go back!

They have a lot of what you need. And a lot of stuff you never knew you needed. And a lot of stuff no one else ever thinks that you will need. Not the most organized or the least expensive, but theres a pretty good chance theyll have what youre looking for.

The cashiers at this one are a mixed bag. Some are unnecessarily rude. Some are sweet and helpful. Sometimes its the same cashier, on the same day. Theres no such thing as 6 feet here, and most ppl think im dumb cuz im a girl. God forbid i bring my offspring. The other location is bigger, better lit, more helpful staff and a much better vibe.

This store and their employees exemplify customer service and a pleasant shopping experience. Staff is helpful, caring, understanding and patient. They don’t have everything ever invented (like big box stores), but they have almost everything we’ve ever needed and they can and will order you something if it’s not on the shelf. We LOVE having this little gem around the corner from our house.

For me theyre close but they have hard to find hardware. I think of them as similar to stoneway hardware

We liked Home Depot, but I feel awful knowing their exec team has been funding the Trump campaign. We can all vote with our dollars, and McLendon deserves them. Great plant section, friendly staff and plenty of parking.

Everyone there was very helpful and nice. And, because I dont have a car, I talked to the delivery driver, and he delivered my bbq grill next day no extra charge!!! Keep in mind I live like 4 blocks. But, this place is amazing, very helpful!!

Better than going to a big box hardware mega store. The staff knows what they are talking about. They all kinds of things not just the brands that the mega store is pushing. Dont see what you need, ask. They usually have it.

Usually have very good customer service here my family have gone there for years not today though I went to the paint department and asked if they could shake up a can of paint for me that we purchased at a earlier date the guy just kind of grumbled I guess so I lugged in five gallon bucket of paint by now there was a lady working who politely informed me that they couldnt because the seal was broken so I lugged it in there for nothing

I love this store. better lumber than youll find at Home Depot and Lowes. good selection, good products, good service, reasonable prices on most items. not the best place to get little stuff like batteries or lightbulbs, they have its for convenience, but its not a focus of their business, so its more expensive. you need hardware and garden supply, definitely come to McLendon.

McLendons is not the best hardware store any more - it has fallen from the top spot. I can get more and different fasteners from Ace than I can at McL or Tacoma Screw. Sad but true.

Awesome staff - helped me select a great product and process my purchase from New York state for delivery to family members in White Center.

Used to love it. Now they have been bought out....new staff are more into chatting each other than helping people. Sadly, the new staff dont know about anything outside of what a label says. The change, not quite three big box hardware yet it looms of corporate influences. No longer does it have the charm and perfect advice on how to fix something.

A great PNW hardware store. They stock just about everything you might need for completing a project around the house or on the job plus they have a great garden area too. Prices are competitive with big box so no hesitation when on the hunt during a project. Convenient when you just want something in hand. Staff is friendly enough and they keep the lines moving.

We love this place! Most of the time, when we need advice, theres always someone to help us. Unlike the big box stores, we rarely have to search for a person to help. Very knowledgeable employees in every department, from getting me the correct chain for my chainsaw, to plumbing department for helping fix our toilets. Didnt give 5 stars only because we have had issues in the past with the garden department.

Mclendon Hardware in white center is a awesome store, this place has lots of hard to find stuff other stores dont have . When you cant find something at a store you can usually find it here . This place is very cool . I love this store, this store is very easy to find and theres plenty of parking places to park your car at #love

I didnt get that much of a chance to experience a lot of customer service here, as I was only in here a short time. However, the little amount of time I was here I could see that this store was fairly nice. They carry a lot for how small the store is, so dont be fooled by its size. The very little interaction I had with employees wasnt negative, except for when I was checking out, one of our cards wasnt working and we had to keep trying it, I did feel a little pressure from the cashier to get the card to work. Overall cool place, probably a five star experience for most people, I just had that one thing happen to me.

I think that one of the managers is a white girl she doesnt know how to greed a customer she needs to learn her position as a manager not think that she owns the store she has to be more polite with customers and how to greet customers

I love coming here. The folks are knowledgeable, real people whove actually used the products theyre selling. You dont have to walk around for hours trying to find someone to help you. Theyre not condescending when you dont know things. Genuine good honest folk.

This is not a cookie cutter hardware supply house. I needed a custom sized patio screen door. Chris, attended me with complete knowledge, good advice, and eventually an order for a custom screen that did not break my bank. The entire visit was a pleasant experience.

They 99.9 percent of the time always carry what we need that other stores dont.

Changing ownners hasnt hurt the experience at all same helpful staff same clean store
