I was on my way to a deli but spotted Aoyama Zakka and decided to pop in because I was curious about what kinds of Japanese goods they sold. It turns out they had a wide variety of things. It is targeted more towards to younger people with the bright pink walls and the things they sell. I saw a lot of Japanese toys and stuffed animals. They also sold live plants, books, lotions, etc. Its not the kind of store I would expect in the Shoreline strip mall its located in, so it was a welcome sight. It was pretty slow when I visited, so I hope business picks up for them. I also think if they relocated a block away where the Asian Food Center is they would get much more foot traffic.
