Great place to get some delicious fresh gelato, I tried the strawberry gelato and it was extremely tasty. The waffle cones I would purchase by themselves if I could because of how great they were. Only reason I rated 5 stars is because I couldnt rate 6 ^_^

First time trying gelato and it is so much better than ice cream. I tried the tiramisu flavor from this location and loved it! The cocoa dusting throughout was completely on point of a real tiramisu. My partner tried the pistachio flavor which took my breath away. Unlike the green artificial pistachio, this gelato has a more brown color and pure nutty taste. It was so good! Reccomended to anyone in the area seeing the sights of Seattle!

Exceptional gelato. The texture and consistency were excellent. I got hazelnut and coffee bean which complimented each other perfectly.

The Gelato is incredible! We tried three kinds: fig, pear, and raspberry. They were all so flavorful and delicious. Also had an orange oil mocha that was ridiculously good! Definitely one of my favorite spots in Seattle now.

Too sweet. Gelato is still good and if someone offered this to me Id gladly except, but still... Far from the best. Lemon and pear could do with less extra sweetener. I was hoping for something a bit more refreshing.

Fantastic little stop in spot for Gelato. They make them all in house and they are delicious and creamy and light for a quick snack. I had the coffee flavor which was delightfully rich but not too heavy on the stomach. Highly recommend this place!

Gelato isnt very thick and creamy as Gelato should be. Flavors are ok, not very bold and some are too sweet. Average price for this type of place in the Seattle Metro Area. Small space, but decent amount of seating. I got the small and mixed 2 flavors, lemon and mixed berry (too many seeds, made it very unpleasant to eat), lemon was the best flavor they had and was vegan. Two guys working, assuming at least one is the owner. The one that made my cup was very slight of hand giving me barely enough to get to the rim. If you notice pictures on here of other small cups, youll quickly note the difference. I also snapped a picture of another customer with a full cup to show the difference! Granted, I already swirled my flavors together, but still, I had barely a full scoop between the two flavors for $4.50 (tax incl).

Thought this was going to be a tourist trap due to its close proximity to Pike Place Mkt, but was pleasantly surprised that the quality & price fit the bill! Ducked in to only order a Chocolate Gelato for my daughter, when Lime Mint Gelato caught my eye! So glad I ordered it for myself- most refreshing, crisp, summery flavor..super yum. Like a virgin Mojito (Madonna pun unintended).

Wow wow wow this place is a boom. I went for a visit to Seattle and I went to this place after reading reviews and it is one of the best gelatos I have had in US. You got to visit this place. I ordered chocolate and creme brule and my husband ordered vanilla. I just want to have one now.

Stopped here for a quick bit after a Sounders game. The service was quick and the flavors were amazing! It was a well needed treat after having to experience a loss at the game.

Bottega Italianas gelato is excellent, with average prices and scoop sizes. Avoid the waffle cones. Service was terrible at the Pike Place location, so I probably wont be going back, especially with so many other viable options in the immediate vicinity.The gelato is made in house and it is excellent, both in texture and flavor. Tiramisu and Chocolate Hazelnut are pretty standard gelato flavors and theirs were among the best that Ive had in recent memory because the flavors were so strong. I also had Charcoal (made with coconut shells and cacao powder), which was an interesting, original flavor. The website claims that they use only high-quality, in-season fruit for their fruit flavors. The Raspberry and Pear flavors definitely seemed to back up this claim! At least four of the flavors were sold out. I understand thats a possibility when everything is made in small batches, but its still disappointing.They had homemade waffle cones, which is usually a plus. Unfortunately, these were the worst waffle cones Ive had in a long time. There was a sign saying they were sold out, but I saw an active waffle iron and a few cones that were obviously rolled recently so I asked about it. My cone was unusually oblong and slightly burned, and my wifes cone had a large hole in the bottom. The other cones that were rolled before we left looked even worse.The service at the Pike Place location was very bad. There was almost no line, but we waited for a long time. The samples, while appreciated, were so tiny it was hard to actually taste anything. The guy serving us seemed annoyed at having to answer our questions, giving only one-word answers and trying to rush us out. He tried to ring us up after scooping only one cone even though my wife hadnt ordered yet.Seating is extremely limited, so be prepared to eat outside. They dont have any regular tables, so I would not consider this location kid-friendly. No public restroom here.

Hands down the best gelato in America. As a dual citizens with Italy and as someone who eats a lot of gelato in eat, I can attest to the quality of this gelato. Its freshly made daily with great intensity of flavor and a wonderful texture.

Best gelato and reasonable price

Excellent gelato with unique flavors served in a small and comfy location. I like the couches and books to read. The dark mint gelato is excellent, as is the tiramisu. The lemon is perfectly balanced, not too sweet. The coffee is Illy, which is ok I guess. The barista who helped us also happens to be the owner. He pulled a perfect doppio for me.

This gelateria has a unique and tempting selection of gelato flavors, as well as the more traditional choices! The “Dark Mint” was delicious, and the “London Fog” (Earl Grey and vanilla) was even better. These were very rich and a medium was maybe too large, even sharing! Would definitely recommend a small unless you’re getting lighter flavors like the lemon (always a solid choice!). Also, props for serving illy, the best coffee!! Disappointingly, new waffles cones were not being made. Otherwise, this would be a 5-star spot!

Their menu will blow your mind away. So simple with only a few flavors, but flavors you will never think of. Irish cream, burnt sugar, sweet cream are just a few. They seem to switch/change it every other week and i noticed because I have been here a few times and every time there are some that still on the menu, some are new. The one that I love so much is the FROZEN HOT CHOCOLATE - if you go here and this is on the menu, do not leave without getting it. Its crazy good.

If youre going to Pike Place Market or anywhere close to it you definitely need to make a pit stop there & try some of their delicious gelato. It was always on my list when I went to the market.

I had two scopes salted caramel and pineapple. I liked the salted caramel gelato. My friend had coffee beans and he liked too. They also serve coffee and espresso drinks. They location of the place is really good near everything.

The Salted Crack Caramel Ice Cream was really good. It has a blend of different textures & flavors. Its got chocolate bits, cracker bits, & nuts mixed into the salted caramel ice cream. Excellent blend that will occupy those with a short attention span like myself.

Still searching for the perfect gelato outside of Italy.. This was pretty good. I had the chocolate and lemon. Lemon was a bit too tarty and left a strong taste in my mouth. While the guy was generous, your lady was hardly scraping the surface when one asked for a sample :)

This gelato is the best gelato youll ever had. The texture is absolutely perfect and all of the flavors are so rich and exciting!! You cant be disappointed. Its also a cute spot to hang out!

A good spot right around the corner from Pike Place Market. Gelato is very good! However, like many places around the Market it can be pricey. Just something to keep in mind when you visit.

I enjoyed everything. All the flavors are wonderful, employees are wonderful. Its been a couple years now, but Im planning to come back and this will be my first stop once I hit Seattle.

The gellato here is the best! I have tried a fair amount from various places and nothing quite equals this place. I recommend the pannecotta and strawberry but really it would be difficult to to go wrong.

The ice cream is very tasty and I always go there when I crave some salted caramel ice cream. The place is very clean and comfortable. The prices are reasonable. My only problem is the service. Not all the employees are the same of course but my last visit was at 7pm there was a guy working and his attitude was not great. He made me feel unwelcomed. Nonetheless, it doesn’t really change my opinion about the quality and taste. I will still go there regardless, but I am sure many people unlike me and would appreciate a better service.

Id put 0 stars if I could, but heres 1 star for the taste. Anyway, employees didnt look welcoming, they just stood there with no smile, and were like they didnt wanna give out samples. The guy scooped the wrong flavor, and when he finally noticed that I was telling him that it was wrong, he just put it back and used the same scoop without washing, thus my gelato got the other flavor mixed with it.

Tiny hole-in-the-wall gelato shop just steps from PIke Place. Great place to stop after dinner instead of paying inflated restaurant dessert prices. Their affogato in particular is top-notch. Can get very busy in tourist season, but worth the wait.

I called on Sunday to make sure they would be open on Memorial Day because I was driving 80 plus miles to specifically get their absolutely magically delicious pear gelato. They were busy and the person I talked to wasnt sure of the hours for Memorial Day. He took my number and name and said he would call me back. I didnt expect to hear from them again, honestly. BUT THEY CALLED ME BACK! When I told them what I was doing, he told me they would most certainly be open regular hours and offered to scoop 2 pints of the pear gelato, (which I HIGHLY RECOMMEND) to ensure that I might have my delight. They are amazing. So amazing, I bought an extra pint to take home. Also, they do accept tips. 😉

Two of us came all the way from Bremerton to try Bottega Italiana Gelato. We walked in Oct.16, 2018 around 300pm. As soon as we saw the server we said hello. No reply ever. Tall thin brown short hair. Anyway she never talked to us until we came to the payout. Lame experience really. She needs a hug or something. Gelato was good I had the pear.

However managed to try them only during the last few days.Creamy, icy gelato, with amazing options, loved the chocolate, coffee & Tiramisu flavours.
