I came to Salmon Bay Sand & Gravel with a somewhat unusual request: I needed a small amount of sand for a beach photo shoot but not quite as small as the overpriced containers of sand at the craft store. The guy who helped me at the front desk was very patient with me even though I had no idea what I was really looking for, and even steered me away from an option that would have been hazardous for us to be in an enclosed studio space with. The guy who loaded our sand was also very helpful and kind and made the whole experience painless. I can definitely see why theyve been around for 110 years!
