I am a contractor, and installed Squak Mountain stone in my kitchen 4 years ago. I was initially very pleased with it, but it has not lived up to expectations as far a wear and tear. It easily chips, stains, corrodes, and generally just falls apart. We have tried very hard to maintain it, but to no avail. I would never suggest that one of my clients put this in their home. I have installed paperstone a number of times, and never had the same issues. We are four years out, and I am going to have to tear out my countertops, (and backsplash tile) and have them redone. Squak mountain stone is junk . Stay away.
