Hidden but delicious. We had a 20 minute wait outside well worth. Coming in we got time to see the menu and begin with drinks. Irish creme latte and brown sugar latte were the best thing ever. It was not too sweet. After drinks we were informed that food would be a while because they were busy and short staffed in the kitchen. Their honesty was amazing and we honestly did not mind waiting. It was a beautiful environment to wait in and our waitress was very sweet, always smiling. We ordered The Hangar and it was really good. It was new and it did not disappoint. Also ordered a coco crepe which was a little too nutty but theyre so open that you can say, less nuts please. I ordered the Chipotle bean wrap and it was very fulfilling. I enjoyed every bite. I also ordered a strawberry chocolate waffle and the whip cream plus syrup was goodness. Their habanero sauce was the right amount of spice. Our waitress was soo nice and gave us a $2 off on our next visit for being patient. We absolutely will go back.
This is my 3rd poor experience here. Pickup order, burnt sandwich, asked if a fork is in the bag and they said yes. Get back to work and fork is Not in the bag. No forks at work, I walk back to ask for fork, spent my whole lunch walking back and forth to get a fork. Theyre in a super hurry and rude on the phone when you order, but when you are there they take their sweet time like theyre high. Such a shame. Just dont bother unless youre retired and physically going there to eat.
The crepes have never disappointed. I get the savory which is topped with creme fresh and has delicious small potatoes on the side. There are several crepes to choose from, both savory and sweet on the menu. In addition there is always a savory and sweet special crepe of the day. Service is excellent -each person being personable and professional. My friends and I feel that The Hangar has the most comfortable and welcoming ambiance, great food and prices on as wonderful staff. We are especially fond of Justin, coming to know him over the years. Thanks for all you and your staff have given to the community. Wishing you all the best now and in the future.
Great little spot for brunch! Only downside is food took over 30 mins to be delivered, though this was on a Sunday morning to be fair.
Loving the new look of this place! Great waitstaff fresh squeezed juice with my mimosa!! Excellent ‘Girl Scout cookie’ granola with yogurt. This place is awesome at its casualness!
I got crepes and coffee. Great, cozy outdoor atmosphere, tasty food, and not too busy. Staff was friendly, and I would happily take a date or my grandparents for brunch.
Toothsome crepes with sweet and savory fillings. We had the market and the apple/brie crepe. Both crepes were cooked but not overdone and had flavorful fillings.
Loved my waffles with peaches! Will need to come back and try the other stuff in the menu. Such a cute little house-y like building with outdoor seating and very friendly, attentive staff.
Food:The crepes are the big seller here. I got the roast beef and it was amazing. It is the right portion of food. I would recommend trying their hot sauce. Its not too hot and has a sweet spicy taste.Service:Our waitress was fun and amazing. She was more than helpful.Ambience:Cute place to eat at. Inside, the building is warm with warm lights. The building smells of delicious food. The outside patio has plenty of seats.
Cute place with delicious crepes and waffles! Indoor and outdoor dining.
Really high quality food! Wait is longer because everything is made from scratch!
Diamond in the rough. Great food and service. Great ambiance out back
What a gem! We really lucked out finding this adorable and delicious cafe. I never would have suspected this place with its nostalgic atmosphere, cute landscaping, and incredible unique food would be situation where it was. The back patio had a romantic feel, with a cover from the elements and the appearance of a private garden. The inventive lattes were a step above and the bread pudding french toast special was out of this world.
Very charming little spot for brunch. The location isnt the best, but theres plenty of seating, the food and drinks are good, and all of the staff are very pleasant. Will definitely be coming back.
The staff here is incredibly rude, I would give it zero stars of I could. We ended up leaving before we even ordered. Have since read similar reviews and can confirm YOU DONT WANT TO GO HERE.
Tiny but surprisingly roomy indoor and outdoor seating both covered and not. Street parking is free but I imagine it can get tricky. Overall very good food. Crepes are done right, breakfast burrito is big enough to not leave you hungry.
Crepes and Panna Cotta Waffles were incredible
Amazing place! Great food and top notch customer service! Im sad that we were in such a hurry, next time I will plan the day better!
The food is delicious! The staff are very kind!Service isnt real fast, so of youre in a rush or impatient this isnt a good place for you.But in my opinion, the wait is totally worth the food! Very delicious!
Sunday morning, we decided to check out some where new for brunch. We found the Hanger Café in George Town. It didn’t look like much but the food was amazing. I had a waffle with fresh berry’s that was melt in my mouth good. My fiancé had a crape that was equally as good. The people were friendly and we had good service. It can be crowded but if you are willing to be patient, your mouth will be highly rewarded. We loved the food.
I loved this place. Its a little tricky to find, but definitely worth it. The breakfast burrito was incredibly good and they have Secret Aardvark hot sauce, Whit is great! And the coffee was good(rare for me to like restaurant coffee). The seating is a bit cramped, but it has a very homey and cozy feel; great for a rainy morning breakfast.
Found this cute little eatery via a Google suggestion. Wonderful food, friendly atmosphere and service. The savory crepes are definitely worth trying!
Cute little coffee shop that also serves crepes and waffles. The waffles are tasty and the atmosphere is quiet and relaxing. Great place to hangout on the weekend. We ordered two different types of waffles and my only sort of complaint is that there was nothing special about the waffles. If you get the banana walnut waffle. Just expect a waffle with bananas and walnuts. Still good but they could be a little more creative and incorporate the banana into the waffles. That being said this is a great little spot and I fully expect to return.
Toni is very friendly! The restaurant environment is great, and the food is delicious.
Tasty crepes and waffles, Friendly staff. Nice ambiance, all add up to great brunch.
This is my favorite breakfast joint across the US so far! We will be craving their crepes! We got the Hangar crepe & the turkey pesto crepe which were wonderful! Then we shared an apple Brie crepe for something sweet! They also have specialty juices - blueberry and I had fresh orange juice, add ginger!! YUM! Its tiny with not many seats though so be prepared! We got lucky and had no wait but by the time we were finishing it was packed with people waiting outside. In the summer it seems like the outdoor seating area would be nice too! Oh, and the service was very friendly!
Got a chance to visit Georgetown, then decide to try this famous brunch cafe. Hangar Cafe has been suggested for one of the best brunchs around Seattle area by many magazines and blogs, the reputation doesnt disappointe me. Try their signature Hangar Crepe, it come within egg, ham, Swiss, cheddar, Onion, tomato and Spanish. Its amamily rich of taste for its size. And my gf fry Triple B waffle, which is also fantastic for its tasty bacon. Definitely will come back again.
Came for lunch on a Saturday in February. Had to wait a bit for a table for two. The complimentary coffee outside was nice while we waited. Had the BLAT sandwich and my wife and I split a side of roast potatoes. She had a raspberry waffle. Sandwich was grilled panini style and not greasy. I appreciated that but a touch dry. Bacon was good but I would have liked a little more than a smear of avocado. The potatoes were well seasoned. Most of the time I have to have ketchup but these were fine on there own. Myvwife really wanted to know what they put on them. Asked the waiter to bring out a sample of their poblano sauce. It was excellent and I bought a bottle for home. Would go back.
Today I walked in to your cafe and was horribly greeted by “host”. Now I thought about eating here, then I realised I didn’t want to be in an environment where someone literally makes a scene about party hosting. After the 10th time of her aggressively telling us the cafe doesn’t do parties EVER, we decided we’d go talk to our friends, who were seated. She then proceeds to say, “Well, first off I’m the host.” At this point, my party wasn’t even completely in the door. Me being the front man of it, I moved forward into the cafe to make room as well as figure out if we wanted to eat without them. She then proceeds to seat us.Long story short, I will never return to this cafe. I’ve never been, and I never will. That experience was enough. As a black female, I’m tired of people treating us with little respect. Especially when one makes a scene in front of the entire cafe. Do better.
The crepe was good, with nice potatoes and a yummy poblano sauce on top. It wasn’t huge which I appreciated.
Awesome food, great service and the new patio is open and a great place to eat..
Good coffee, great staff, good food, and outdoor dining. I wonder what dinner would be like if they served it.
Nice selection of vegetarian options with a tasty mocha! The caprese crepe was fantastic (enfolding melted mozzarella, flavorful diced tomatoes, and fresh basil) and the side of potatoes was deliciously garlicky. Calm mid-morning ambience (not crowded, occasional chatting 2-tops) and Google Fi auto-connected to fast, open wireless network.
We got 2 crepes, it took an hour for them to come out. They tasted good and the coffee was good, but one of the crepes had several hairs baked in, so we didnt finish it. Also the cubed potatoes are soft not crispy on the edges, so if you like crispy potatoes this may not be for you.Its a cool place if you have lots of time and want to see some airplanes. Probably wont go back since I dont want to worry about hair in my food.
Excellent service excellent food
A bit eclectic, a bit pretentious. I had a blueberry waffle and it was good.
Love this little hidden gem. The crepes are our favorite. The service is always friendly.
Very cute spot close to the Seattle-Tacoma Airport. Very good food, flavorful! Husband and I split a Market savory crepe and the Banana Walnut waffles. Were torn about getting the special which was the pudding bread French toast with strawberries. Ambience was super cute
So glad we found this spot in Georgetown! Its kind of hidden by empty buildings but it has a cool sign and a courtyard in the front. The staff was super nice and though it was busy, (we went on a Sunday around 11am), we got a table within the first couple of minutes We had biscuits and gravy, a peanut butter and chocolate crepe, an Americano, mimosa and a mocha. All together it was under $40 and really good! Loved the cozy seating and cabin-like decor. We will definitely go again!
Cute waitress loved my boys.. great food, atmosphere, friendly bunch !
The food is consistently good which keeps us coming back. They close at 2 but sometimes stop seating early so if its around 1 you might want ti call. Be prepared to wait as theres almost always people in line. The hostes will take your phone number and call when your seat is ready. Ive noticed the wait to get served is getting longer. Its taken us 30 minutes on some occasions. If youre GF they can work some magic and youll be happy! The planes are flying very low over the place. 🛫🛬🛫🛬🛫🛬
The cafe is in a perfect spot for avgeeks. Employees were great here.
The best savory and sweet crepes in town. Great ambiance. Good prices. Good coffee. And as a covid bonus they have a really large back patio area, a good deal of which is covered, so worth a visit, rain or shine.
Great staff and food!
Great little secret cafe, good prices great food.
My husband and I love going there its our favorite place to go eat breakfast and lunch. They have amazing delicious food and wonderful service. 🥰💖
It’s one of the best brunch places in an odd corner of the city. Intimate setting in airplane themed interiors, very appropriate since it’s by Boeing I believe. Have been there 3-4x and it’s been consistently amazing quality! Speed depends on how busy they are, so I can’t fault them for that. I love the crepes, but the one I had wasn’t too substantial. The standard offerings are filling and tasty.
Such a sweet little space! Only eight or nine tables inside, but such friendly service, excellent music, and an awesome menu. I’ll certainly be back in the spring to check this place out when it’s warm enough to sit out front in their yard!
If you truly enjoy food...put the Hangar Cafe on your places not to missService is as excellent
Interesting place. Not a ton of traditional foods, but if youre in the mood for a crepe, they have a good selection of both sweet and savory. The chop salad was good, though more of just a regular salad since nothing was, you know, chopped. 🤪 The tomato soup with ravioli honestly tasted like it was from a can so I wouldnt recommend it. My friend said their turkey sandwich was delish. Im giving them a fourth star because they have a veggie field roast substitute.
.Awesome food, and very nice staff! We did wait a long time for our food but it was worth the wait and the place was hopping! With seating outside in both the front and back of diner it gives a variety of options besides eating indoors. The vibe was very friendly and the style of the restaurant was fun and i really enjoyed how every table has a different style of salt and pepper shaker. Definitely a place i will stop in when i am in the area. The food is amazing!
Outdoor seating and very laid back with great crepes, good service and prices.
I’m a Veteran I have the American flag 🇺🇸 on my hat she disrespected the flag, I’m never going back
Crepe-tastic! Delicious, quick and friendly place. Would recommend.
Great service and food was amazing :) thank you !
Unique Crepes & Waffles! Savory & delicious. Breakfast burritos were probably the best weve ever had actually. They were stuffed with goodness. Must try the Triple J Waffles and the Apple & Brie crepes. Service was great and very nice staff.
They were so nice! And the food didnt take too long to come out. Its a great little spot to get some work done and enjoy some cool tunes and great coffee.
The place is the best for all types the food is prepared right out front and nothing is hidden in a kitchen! Perfect sizing of food for meals and great staff!! Hubby and I LOVES this place!!
It took forever to get my crepe on a Saturday morning. I was already finished with my juice by the time I got the crepe. The service was so so, I had to go up and ask for a check and I ended up having to go up and pay for it too because no one came by. The food was delicious! I had the Apple Brie crepe it was perfect. The juice was delicious too I has Orange and Peach mix.
Why did we wait so long?? Weve read about this place for years but only just visited. Incredible crepes, and a really cute cafe overall. This one is going into the heavy weekend rotation.
Absolutely wonderful food!
Excellent Crepes! Service is always delightful and theyre very attentive to your needs. Small restaurant. Great coffee
Small place with lots of great breakfast choices. I had a peanut butter and choc crepe, that was so good. The bacon and fried potatoes were good too. We sat out back under a covered patio- perfect for us and the pup.
Love this place been going here for 3 years, does not open back up till July 1st 2020 due to COVID per Voicemail
Food is superb! Service is fine. Its a small space, many tables arent ideal. Regardless, they go quickly. Be prepared to have to wait on the weekends.
What a classic, small town diner should be. Great fresh veggies in our crepes and the local newspaper to boot. Surprisingly fair prices and plenty of free parking on the street.
Smells good, prices to high. First time there sitting down having a drink last comes over starts wiping table and tells me to move she had to seat others. Lol 😂 nobody else was there not coming in. I was there for 25 min. Wont be returning. Thank you!
Nice atmosphere and good food. Would have liked more and colder water on such a hot day. Planes flying low overhead was cool but a little disruptive to conversation. In my opinion it is unacceptable to be out of iced tea on Monday because you ran out of iced tea on Sunday.
Mmmm, mmm good. If you clean your plate, you get a cookie.
