Nice neighborhood cafe with a very relaxed vibe. Service was friendly and fast and online order pick up was nicely organized. Currently take-out / patio dining only, the outdoor dining area is big and covered!I had the breakfast sandwich with egg, cheddar, and cheese. Its warmed up nicely but a bit greasy for my taste though.

I love Cloud City Coffee! This cafe has a bright, welcoming vibe. They currently have lots of outdoor covered seating, and the Covid procedures are efficient and effective.What I love most about Cloud City Coffee is their large sandwich menu! This is a cafe where you can actually get a good lunch along with your good coffee. I ordered a Cuban and it was absolutely delicious. Stop in for a breakfast bagel or a hot panini at lunch time - I guarantee it will be great!Be aware that parking can sometimes be difficult, as there isnt a large lot. But that just means you can park a block or two away and enjoy the cute neighborhood around Cloud City!

Ive tried quite a few of the coffee shops in the area and this is by far the best, hands down.They were a little slow to get my coffee out (I waited around 5 minutes), but they were busy and have a covered waiting area outside so it wasnt too bad.A little bit on the more expensive side. My 16 oz Americano with heavy cream was just under $5 before the tip. But again, its just around the corner from me and is the best in the area so the higher price is fairly acceptable.I will definitely be going back.(Picture not taken on location)

Somethings off with all the 5 star reviews and our groups experience.Positives:- I liked the freshly made cinnamon rollNegaties:- Weak coffee, milky latte with terrible milk texture. How can a barista send this out when theyre charging money for the beverage?- Another person in the group that ordered a latte was also unhappy with his (same complaint)- A third person hated a pastry they ordered (donut I believe).- The dine-in is actually a dine-out, and theres only paper cups for the coffee.

Nice Covid set up. Excellent pumpkin spice latte. You can tell they use real pumpkin in their syrup. I hope they have rotating seasonal drinks because that is always fun. I will definitely be back.

Maple leaf latte is great. This place is usually packed if you go on weekends. So its better to place mobile orders.

DO NOT GET THE COLD BREW. It is absolutely vile. I had my drink remade (which was a very kind offer) to remove the syrup which is what I thought was making it taste bad but when I took a sip of the cold brew on its own I almost spit it out. Its extremely acidic and has an awful flavor. So now Im off to get coffee from the grocery store...Cold brew aside, staff are super kind.

A great spot to have a coffee, a sit, and perhaps a tasty treat. Maybe its nostalgia because I met friends here so many times, but I really like this place. They make a lot of the baked goods in house from scratch, thats a plus. Several vegan options as well. When the sun comes out or weather permits they roll up the clear paneled garage door and let the breeze in. Its almost across from Reservoir park which has an amazing view of Mt. Rainier on a clear day. They also keep boardgames on hand that are available to the public.Coffee is standard, but good. Staff is welcoming and chatty.

Aside from handling the pandemic like champs, they consistently have good drinks and a few good vegan baked goods to grab and go. I do wish it didnt always smell like burnt/stale bacon but I recognize Im maybe in the minority there.

Im so happy to have rediscovered this local coffee spot over the past year. Not only are the beverages delicious, (even a black coffee!) but the baked goods are also on point. They actually bake them in house AND have vegan and GF options! The staff is always warm and friendly. Most importantly, they have been following safety protocols to the max during Covid. Thank you Cloud City for always being the best. Finally tried the banana and sesame muffin this morning and it is living up to all expectations. :)

My favorite place to get coffee! My bf and I go there every week and we absolutely LOVE it! They have a large variety of drinks, pastries, and food choices! Plus they also have a pickup spot for online orders, which makes the contactless stuff so much easier! Plus it’s all ready for you when you get there and you don’t even have to go inside. They make it so easy and safe to order coffee during a pandemic.

I visit this neighborhood staple whenever Im in the area--the coffee is delicious, the snacks (like quiches) are tasty, and the fact that they collect food, clothes, and hygiene items for homeless and underserved people is really appreciated. I wish their bathrooms were open, especially since they have a nice spot to sit under a tent outside, but I understand that they want to protect their staff as much as possible.

Fantastic service! So friendly and helpful and EVERYONE is staying safe. Theyve got an easy queue with cones and clear directions for the simplest of minded customers.They didnt have exactly what I was in the market for but the really friendly polite cashier was quick to come up with practically a custom brew and it was perfect.Also the gentlemanthat gave us our drinks at the end has mad skill, he can put straws in your cup with tongs! Great brewed coffee! Havent tried the espresso yet. Excellent food, full menu. Super friendly neighborhood vibe, but can get a bit crowded. Parking is tight, but not much to do about that. Great place to cycle to, nice stop at the top of a hill. Only point against it is that theres no secure (bolted down) bike rack to lock up to. They do have big windows and patio seating, so its relatively easy to keep an eye on your stuff.

My husband and I went to Cloud City Coffee recently for Saturday brunch. The coffee was perfect & food was delicious. The wait wasnt too bad, especially considering the crowd. We sat outside with our dog, Maggie, & someone quickly brought her a fresh bowl of water before our order was even ready. The restroom was clean, spacious, & tidy. I would highly recommend their coffee & food. We look forward to returning soon. Five stars!

This place is awesome. Aside from the name tractor-beaming me in right off the bat, (It was the first coffee places I went to when I first came to Seattle four years ago) I have come back sporadically to experience the cloud city coffee phenomenon and it never disappoints.With delightful fall specials such as the Maple Leaf Latte, or a Vegan pumpkin muffin, (both on point) you cant help but fall slightly in love. There are people working dutifully on their laptops or planners, floating vigorously in this city in the clouds. Surrounded by a fairly small but open room, you feel cozy but not crammed. With the slight feeling you are in the story time reading area in a childrens library, you still feel like an adult because you are here for more important matters! The staff is super friendly and efficient. With only a few of them working, they can handle the long line very effectively, without sacrificing charm. So whether it be on a rainy winter afternoon, or a sunny but brisk fall morning, or anything in between or outside the boundaries set by those two examples, cloud city coffee is a must-experience haven for good coffee, food, and environment. (equipped with an outside seating area as well, that even has a tent to shade you from the glaring gaze of the sun, or shelter you from one of those persistent trudging blankets of rain)

Great neighborhood coffee shop with great coffee, espresso, pastries, and sandwiches. Theres a little space for kids to play on a rug and plenty of outside seating. It gets crowded inside, so I dont recommend it at all for a large group of people unless you plan on sitting outside or walking over to the neighborhood park.For all you Harry Potter Wizards Unite fans there is a fortress as well as an inn and greenhouse.

This place is fantastic. They have fantastic coffee and amazing pastries. It can be difficult to find seating and the lines can be long but it’s totally worth it. If you’re in the neighborhood definitely stop by.

They are so friendly here! I visited for the first time last week and within 5 minutes they knew my name (and that I was new) and had told me a little history of the place -- but in a way that wasnt too intrusive for an introvert. I felt really welcome! Plus my sandwich was great.

I visited Cloudy City Coffer on Feb 2020.I went around 4 P.m. the place was packed with people, but still there were few chairs empty.+•Coffee tastes good•They have power outlets for chargers•Comfy place overalls-•The power outlasts are only in two places.

They have a food donation area set up so bring your extra non perishable food items if you have any extra laying around 😊 There’s also a self serve tea bar by donation which is pretty neat. Couch and a bookshelf for children. Pretty decently big coffee cafe, if your worried about getting your stroller in and finding a spot to relax look no further! Also a nice outdoor patio as well!

We got coffee to go... Ive never known a place with such a wide variety of milk alternatives. My oat milk latte was great, and my friends almond milk Chai tea latte was equally as good.The atmosphere in there was very relaxed and welcoming... a good place to sit and chat with friends.

The baristas are always friendly, the place is super cute, and they have great food and drinks. Their seasonal drinks are especially great! When they break out the Thai basil and ginger I know Im in for a good pick-me-up.Bit on the pricey side, but not any more so than any indie coffee shop, really. And its worth it. Especially with their LGBT+ safe space sign in the window. Im gay, and very open about it, and Ive always felt safe there, even with my girlfriend in tow.Only thing I wish was different are their hours, lol... itd be nice to stop by there on a late night. But I respect that theyre not trying to overwork their employees and treat them well, so, Ill gladly take what I can get. ☺️

A really nice place! Very friendly feeling and nice to sit outside when the weathers nice. Parking can be a nightmare (seems like theyre always tearing up the street and the side streets are tight) and its always a little more crowded than I like, but the staff are really nice and theres a good selection of beverages and baked goods.

Cozy neighborhood coffee shop with a broad age range of customers. Toys and books available for kids. Good place to hang out and read the paper or get some work done. Youll probably need to share a table with others, and it can be a little on the loud side. Bring headphones if you need to tune out.

Cloud City is a beloved neighborhood coffee shop run by nice people. It has good quiche, oatmeal, pie, pastry, sandwiches, and soup. There is a couch and small play area for young children with some toys and books. If you play Ingress or Pokemon Go there is a portal / pokestop there. There are outside tables and community seating tables inside (big tables that people will often share between strangers).

Great atmosphere. Lots of folks but the space is nice and open. They do a brisk business, but service is still quick, at least on Sundays when I usually stop by. The food is excellent, and with good prices.The coffee is great. The espresso shots can get a little sour as they cool, but if you drink it hot theyre great. They also know how to make a good cappuccino.

Most times Ive gone its been noisy and bustling in here. People sitting by themselves are usually happy to share their tables. Lot of friends meeting up, families with kids and single people reading their paper or working on their lap tops. Fun community coffee house. Outdoor sitting area great on sunny days.

Sweet little place. Tuna salad sandwich, chips and iced tea were great! The staff were very friendly and attentive.

Nice place with yummy options. Friendly vines when you go in as well. Pumpkin bread was very good! The small size is definitely small for the drinks, but taste do great!
