Where has this place been all my life. Love this place. Plenty of seating on the front patio. Plenty of seating on the side patio. Plenty o seating on the back patio. Plenty of seating inside. You know how many other places in the Seattle have all of those things. Zero. Add charming interior and a friendly staff. Winner, winner, chicken dinner.

C&P baristas are always kind and welcoming. This cafe offers amazing cups of coffee with even better customer service. It has a really relaxed neighborhood vibe. Love it.

This is a fun coffee spot with outdoor seating and good strong coffee. Independent with a bohemian vibe... Its a great place to grab a cup of Joe and sit down with friends or a good book. Parking around back or on the street up front... Its pretty centrally located on California Ave just a mile or so south of the junction... In an old Craftsman bungalow.

This place is such a gem. Very cozy spot to do work with both indoor and outdoor seating. I love the atmosphere here!

Love getting coffee here:) some times theres a line but it moves quickly and there is usually a perfect spot to sit.

The perfect community coffee shop! The folks care enough to get your name and remember your order. The back has raised garden beds and bistro lights and the new covered addition is a great spot to study or write or meet with friends, even on a rainy or snowy day! The cold brew and oat milks lattes are my favorite!

C & P coffee is nestled right on California Ave in West Seattle. This is a great coffee house. I found them back in March & loved this place. The coffees are great. The place has a homey Livingroom feel to it. There is setting out front and in back with a small garden. They have live music and serve beer and wine. A wonderful neighborhood meeting place.

Oh!! Such a homely rustic beautiful little cafe in West Seattle. The vibes are perfect for a cup of delicious coffee (seasonal flavours are the best!) and to catch up on a conversation or some work. Service is friendly and efficient. Highly recommend a coffee and some food here!!

One of the most personable experiences I had in Seattle. Super nice staff, helpful, and answered all questions. The cafe mocha was tastefully chocolate and for sure would recommend. If you get there early enough you might get some of their homemade sugar cookies which are very sweet and crisp! We bought their coffee beans and were happy to find that the proceeds go to a local food bank. One of the best coffee places we tried in Seattle.

Great local coffee shop with good drinks and a fun atmosphere. Staff is very friendly and overall the place is very inviting. Lots of outdoor seating and a good window service setup during COVID times. They have a small section of covered seating as well which is great for rainy days.

I LOVE the atmosphere of this place, all the cozy outdoor seating, and I even love that they serve lighthouse roasters coffee (my favorite!). Unfortunately, I don’t love how they make the coffee. Every single time I try to get a cup of coffee from here it tastes like they burn the heck out of it - it’s really barely drinkable and it’s never enjoyable to. Definitely recommend for tea and their selection of alcoholic beverages for a cozy place, but woah man do they need to work on their coffee making.

This coffee shop is second to none in customer service, they even have treats ready for my dog when I walk up to order! It doesn’t hurt that they also have a cozy atmosphere and delicious coffee, can’t recommend this place enough!

This place is probably one of my favorite coffee places in the Seattle area. I havent had the pleasure of visiting during non-covid times, but they seem to have adapted quite well by offering numerous spaces outdoors for individuals and small groups.The coffee hasnt always been my favorite (dirty chai was not good) but the charm of the place more than makes up for it.

I’ve been going here since i was an actual fetus inside my moms belly and i only have amazing memories here! such nice people and SUCH a beautiful outside atmosphere:)

I ordered a dirty chai here and it was so bad I had to throw it away, which is really saying something because I hate waste. The shop was great, comfortable and cool looking. Good service as well. I would be willing to try other items here, but I am hesitant.

About once a week I stop by here with a couple of walking pals for a morning coffee enjoyed at an outside table. The guy who makes the brew is quick and friendly; this is a great place to refresh yourself before taking on the rest of the day!

Love this place. The coffee, folk music, backyard patio and garden, friendly baristas, everything. The regulars are very friendly too, giving it a community pub feel. A lot of patrons bring their dogs here and the baristas will make a point of offering your doggo water and a biscuit. Both the coffee and the experience give me the energy to get through my day. My very favorite coffee shop. George and Cam are the very sweetest humans and I have a great experience every time. I often go to write or sit in the garden or sit in the sun, and there’s always enough space and I never feel rushed. So thankful to have this place so close to home!

Great roasts - my latte was perfect. Staff very friendly. Very comfortable vibe. Decor quirrky but homey; it felt like a friends living room. Music and conversation low and unobtrusive, generally quiet and restful.

I really wish they would bring back unsweetened ice tea. Everything else has sugar or sweeteners.

C&P is the best! In the pandemic and in normal times, they have fantastic coffee and good service. They have a covered patio area with heaters if you need a place to be other than your home in the rain and cold.

The barista was friendly and the location seems nice but the coffee overall is not on par with other companies especially at the price.

This place makes West Seattle feel like home ♥️ it was one of the first spots I came to when I moved into the neighborhood a few years ago and Ive always felt like part of the community, between the hospitable staff and all the care thats put into every corner of this place 🏠 not to mention, the beautifully maintained garden in the back... First time visitor to this cozy West Seattle coffee house. The music was great and the coffee, tea, food prices were very reasonable for the quality. Very friendly atmosphere, outdoor patio seating, and plenty of seating inside. C and P had a FB link and website to view the upcoming events in their calendar as well as their menu. I plan to return very soon to support this lovely quaint establishment!

I went here for the first time today and felt the need to review it. I probably spent no more than 10 minutes in here, but I plan on coming back. The atmosphere is very comfortable and not too loud. Some customers had well behaved dogs in there; which only added to the homey feeling.The individuals who assisted me were incredibly friendly. They knew the regulars and greeted them warmly and were very patient with me as I asked them 20 questions about what I can order. The prices were reasonable and the coffee and bagels were good. Im looking forward to going back.

Unique spot! You can tell it used to be a working class family’s home before the wave of West Seattle gentrification forced them out of town. Still unique, cool vegan mini donuts. Good stuff.

This coffee shop is a beloved local favorite. Its got good coffee, plenty of eats, and even a beer selection. Inside, its like a cozy living room, and outside there are comfortable spots in the front and back yard. Theyve frequently got live music and other events as well.

This is a cornerstone/landmark business for West Seattle. A place to meet or visit alone, to read or do business or write. Good coffee, pleasant staff, great atmosphere, and a nice selection of vittles as well. Outdoor seating in good weather (and bad weather, too, I suppose). They also host a lot of community events, house concerts and the like. C&P has made itself an anchor of the larger community and I like it.

Neighborhood coffee shop with an eclectic decorum. Selection of wines with good pours. Coffee, juice drinks, and limited great looking food while I was there. Parking can be difficult. They appear to have outside seating in better weather. A comfortable place to visit with a friend.

My favourite coffee spot in West Seattle. Great selection of drinks and eats in cozy surroundings. It can get a little busy with people laptop squatting, but on a sunny day, its lovely to sit outside and enjoy their gardens.

The owner was so kind, my debit card wasnt reading so he gave me my drink for free!

Personal service that only comes from a friendly mom and pop shop. Cameron and Pete have been running and improving this place for more than 15 years. Comfortable century old house offers a lovely garden seat in the back on nice days. Wine is served in the evenings. Some nights have poetry slams, some offer live music.

I have been all over the US and to various places around the world. This. Is my favorite coffee shop. Its perfect. Its warm and comfortable. There are couches and working spaces. There is a beautiful garden patio in the back. There music is a pleasant mix that is not so loud its a distraction. The food and snack options are great. There is even beer and wine.Oh yeah, the coffee is fantastic!I love this coffee house. Even if you are just passing through, do give it a try. I promise, you will wish you lived close enough to come every day. Its a beautiful space, a part of the community. Given enough time, I believe this will be a Seattle landmark. Its just that amazing.

My first true coffee experience in Seattle was here and I was impressed. The friendly, accommodating staff was quite the added bonus.Really digging the laid back “living room atmosphere here as well. AND to top it off, the coffee was delicious as well!!Definitely recommend this place if you happen to be in the area!!

I came tonight for the Unplugged music night and it was absolutely spectacular. From classical guitarists and talented violin students, from Bach to Joan Baez, (not to mention a lute player!), as well as one of the best jam guitarists Ive heard in years-- C&Ps live music sessions are not to be missed! This coffee house is a literal West Seattle treasure.

A nice place for a cup of coffee. This is a great place to relax and take a break. Have a seat outside in the front taking in the ocean view. Sit down on the inside where its nice and cozy. Or sit in the back yard for peace and relaxation.

C & P is the perfect place to curl up with a book and a coffee (or a pint of mimosa - my favorite!) on a rainy West Seattle Saturday afternoon. Its incredibly relaxed and eclectic. They often have musicians, and there is outdoor seating in the front and back. This truly is a West Seattle gem and Im so glad they will be staying in our neighborhood!

Very chill little coffee shop that is in the form of an old house. A great place with a great atmosphere. Only downside I would say is that they use lighthouse coffee which is not my favorite but I cant fault that. Totally worth checking out, great experience and friendly staff.

I think this place is one of the best kept secrets in Seattle and I hesitate to give it a review in case more people discover it. Although the food and the coffee are great the reason I go is to see and hear some of the the best musicians in Seattle playing in an intimate setting. Marco and friends.

Stopped in for the live music on a Sunday afternoon. The latte I had was quite good and the music was great. No cover charge made it a great place to spend a couple hours.

Everyone here builds a sense of community. From the personal greetings and genuine conversations to the events that they host around music, poetry, literature, and political action. I have so much respect and gratitude for the owners and all of the amazing experiences they have fostered over the years. I have come to practice guitar with my wife, celebrated birthdays, studied for my masters, and just come to read a newspaper and relax. Also, they kick ass at making a tasty beverage with Lighthouse coffee!

Family & dog friendly atmosphere. A bit stand offish when youre new, but stick with it because the coffee is good if the pastries can be day old.

Ive been everywhere, man, and this coffee shop left me impressed. Great coffee for $3 and 50¢ refills. Live music in the evenings and I noticed a beer and wine selection. The bathroom is nice too. Free WiFi and available electric outlets inside and out. Dog friendly and treats available. Its a cute little converted house. Well visit again if we stick around Seattle.

What a lovely little place! My iced chai as delicious. There was a live band playing relaxing, upbeat music. The band in combination with the garden/laid back cafe atmosphere made me feel as if I had been transported outside of the city into a small town in Italy or France. Beautiful place! I will definitely be coming back. This is a wonderful place to escape the busy city-life of Seattle.

Among the best for that homey living room feel since it literally is in very clearly what used to be a residential single-family structure. It is generally quite busy in the spacing is probably friendlier for single folks looking for a space to sit and work as opposed to two or more finding conversation space.

Its too expensive and I feel ripped off. The atmosphere is great and just what you want a coffee shop to look and feel like. Unfortunately, everything on the menu is over priced, the food and drinks are mediocre, and getting served takes forever.Today I paid $3.56 for a small hot apple cider after waiting forever to get helped. Thats nearly $4 for a just under a cup of liquid that probably cost the coffee house about twenty cents. It was poured out of a gallon jug and marginally heated. Didnt taste like much - grocery store special and was only slightly warm. For nearly $4!My mistake though - I came back after an underwhelming experience over the weekend, simply because of the atmosphere. I had paid over $11 for a small, bland pasta salad without enough veggies, and a 12oz latte that tasted burnt. At my usual coffee spot the same order would have cost less than $8. There was live music and there are big tables, but even so, I should have known Id be disappointed by my return trip.Sadly, I wont be going to go back to C&P again.

I’ve been to quite a few coffee shops, but this one definitely ranks in the top five for hospitality and ambience. The interior is decorated in an old homesteader style, but very tastefully. The staff are very down to earth and friendly, and the whole vibe feels like home. Plenty of seating for studying or getting work done!
