I LOVE the bins! I found all of these items in 3 minutes, for only 3.77 😫 it is in a bit of an industrial, run down area, but homeless people are humans too, so dont be rude and youll be fine!Its a clean facility and the employees are nice. Theres always at least 2 dogs inside, and while not described as dog friendly no one really cares

Pretty sure I was overcharged. It was about 55 bucks for this pile of clothes. The lady weighed the cart, then weighed my daughters cart and then received my cart. Never explaining what she was doing. Granted it is a deal, but it doesn’t seem like 1.80 per pound to me. Tried to find an email for them, not coming up with anything

My mom and sister stopped by there today. It was surrounded by broke down vehicles and make shift shelters. They didnt feel comfortable in the neighborhood and split. Kind of sad, since they were visiting from out of town. Well keep shopping the Portland Vancouver and Spokane ones.

It’s a wild experience, most people shop as fast as possible & look like Cookie Monsters trying to gobble as many cookies as possible, although in this case it’s clothing & knick knacks. It’s a treasure hunt.*Pro tip: Go early or save your spot in line & wait in your car (the blue lines indicate where to stand). Choose quality over quantity! I brought back a sweater with lots of rips, because I was shopping too quickly.

Excellent selection in the bins. Friendly staff. Clean & organized. Major downfalls are: the lineup outside & get a number to enter the store is completely hijacked by the daily shoppers - they cheat the line & the staff knows it & does nothing to make it fair. The shoe bins frenzy is completely ridiculous. Daily shoppers hoard all the shoes frantically grabbing every shoe out of the bins aggressively. Then they sort the shoes afterwards & discard the unwanted shoes everywhere. So if you do find a shoe you like theres zero chance of finding its mate. Its totally gross to watch & experience. I no longer shop there because its so cut throat with the daily shoppers towards the casual shoppers. The daily shoppers go there to find items to resell - the biggest one being shoes. Management should shut that BS down. Its truly sickening.

My experience here was better than expected.. I read the reviews prior to coming and thought it would be a mess, but it wasnt too bad. I came on Saturday, so there was a line of people. It only took 15 minutes to get in (I was the back of the line). Inside smells of cleaning chemicals that mess with lungs, and MANY bins of clothing, and some with shoes, items. There was definitely enough for everyone, I found 15 clothing pieces for $14. Great for reselling. All was name brand! The only con is the obvious daily shoppers who cheat the line, and reach over you while you’re shopping. Very annoying. The workers were great though!Procedure:-Arrive, with gloves and a large bag, as there are not enough carts for everyone. (I suggest wait in the line for the next round, vs go in for only a few minutes)- When you’re in, use gloves to search the bins, as it’s not clean at all. Search thoroughly, as there are hidden gems-After about 40 minutes, they have everyone go check out so they can swap the bins. Pay by the lb.-Go wait in line again if you’d like another round! But make sure you leave ur bought items in a car so you don’t get charged again!

Absolute chaos. I had an inkling of what a Goodwill outlet experience would be like but it was still really disheartening. I showed up 15 minutes prior to opening and there was already a long line outside. I say that in quotations because it looked like just a mass of people standing around, no semblance of a line at all. People kept showing up, moving around, and seemingly cutting. When they opened, they handed out numbers to those in line and as soon as people got a number, they mad rushed to the door. In the chaos, some people without numbers tried to sneak through and were caught. It was poorly organized with lots of yelling and arguments of who was first. They didnt have any staff monitoring the line so we were unsure of when it would be ok to go in or not.I didnt make the first round so I went in after some people left. People leaving were rolling out shopping carts overflowing with suitcases and shoes. People brought entire vans and U-hauls just to dump stuff and go back inside. I think they are all resellers trying to ship merchandise to other countries. You are supposed to get 1 hour to shop before they switch out the bins and there is a timer at the registers but they started ushering us out and taking away the bins at 45 minutes.Inside was as youd expect with bins full of shoes, bags, clothing, and toys. I found really minimal home goods, books, and furniture which was a shame because thats what I truly care for. I heard that they roll out new bins every hour and its just a gamble of what type of stuff is in them. However, as they kick everyone out after an hour, you have to line up again and go in on a hope that bins will be better.That being said, I can see the value in going. You can find some miscellaneous treasures if youre willing to spend the time and dig through things. Your mileage may vary though.

I used to be able to find stuff here...last two years ....not so much...and people come with their possee to team up and get the good stuff right away....the regular guy doesnt stand a chance....and last time i was here an employee insisted that i deleted the pictures on my phone....so not appropriate....thanks goodwill

Cant bring your own bag because they hate poor people, especially the disabled like myself whos hands literally cant carry handle bags, they EXPECT you to have a car to leave your belongings in because its so hard to make your store even moderately accessible when you only have a dozen security guards

This place is great they have a good selection of goods that I liked purchase from here. I would suggest for anyone and everyone to try the Goodwill outlet at least once.

If you like to, or dont mind rummaging through bins of all sorts of things from clothing to toys, and dont mind being around lots of people who are doing the same thing, this could be the place for you. They have all of the stuff that is not sold at the regular goodwill stores, including the stuff that is Over priced, so lots of bargains sold by the pound !!!

I used to loved coming here. Now all it is a a few families who post chairs out front to keep their qst in line. It sucks because the staff just lets them. So they can run to the shoe bins. They dont even look at the shoes. They just hoard them all into their basket and go to a corner and seperate them. I wish goodwill would make itcfair and enjoyable forcall shoppers not just the hoarders.

Dirty unmanaged store In The industrial area of seattle, the only plus is the selection

I am new in the area. I moved here to live with my Grandparents and I am just starting my career here. I wanted to get a present for them that is less expensive and will not go over my budget. Good thing I found this place. They have a lot of option you can select in a very affordable prices. The products are in good condition as well. I hope they will love what I got for them.

After waiting over an hour in the hot sun to get in I was forced out after 45 min. They break their own rule which gives shoppers 1 hour to shop and pay. I understand social distancing but this is not fair!

They dont allow back packs. Expect to wait a couple hours to go in. Amazing deals tho!!

Be aware of the shoppers stealing problem there. You need to really watch your personal stuffs all time while shopping. I experienced myself lost my cart and my purse, also people I know experienced all kind of stealings there. I go there often more than half of the time hearing stealing issues. Besides, there are many times I eyes witness shoppers took the goods without paying and walked out. Also, 100s of shopping carts are stolen and lost within a year in this place, it is not easy to get a shopping cart there while shopping. Its not a peaceful place to shop but yes you can find nice stuffs. The staffs are nice to regular customers but they really have to yell at many not behaving shoppers there.

A great way to save money and if you plan to purchase a large amount of stuff for a little cash then its a decent thrift store. This store should consider hiring people with customer service skills or train their employees to learn how to interact with the customers and have management encourage their staff to actually work, sort through the bins, and clean. Instead of standing around and socializing with friends. More than half of the personnel assigned to work around the merchandise, socialize with fellow co-workers and get in the shoppers way.

You never know what youre going to find! Got a microwave for $3 and a nice suitcase for $2 tonight, along with $30 in assorted clothes and bags and a pair of winter boots. Make sure you triple wash everything you buy, and bring gloves for sorting through the bins if youre a germaphobe. They start putting away the bins about 2 hrs before close, so get there early for the best selection!

All ways shows me just how creative you can be for Goodwill has all the possibilities... And always catches all my Gemini personalities its were you can get a new wardrobe 4 Pennys on the Dollar. Crazy, cool, crazy cool? Its large rolley carts in rows filled with random unsorted things. That you buy by the the pound! It works out to be cheap, cheap, like 2 bags of stuff for $10 cheap. The majority of it being clothes, but there is a bit of everything. Its an experience, there is a, might find a hidden treasure vibe. A few tips; wear gloves, grab anything that looks interesting and sort out the keepers at the end. Keep a close eye on your cart... I had a couple, Oh sorry, are these your things?, as I noticed someone going through the cart I was obviously using, moments. They have free bags too after you ring up. Happy Hunting!

Dirty and disorganised. Most items are broken and missing parts. Wires and cables are in tangled clumps. Works if your bored or desperate.

Its Goodwill by the pound bring your gloves and get ready to dig. There is lots of great stuff here but it you might not see it at first. But if you were willing to put in the effort then dig in and have fun. Most everything like clothing is priced by the pound however some things like blankets, rugs, comforters are priced by size. Housewares $.59 a lb clothing starts at $1.59 a lb and goes down the more you buy.

This is the kind of place where you literally have to “dig” for the gems. Lol they have some pretty great used clothes. Great brands. You just have to take your time to look. If you don’t mind hand-me-downs 👌 this is a good place.

Man these guys have some deals!Got in easily, and even though it was crowded, I was capable of moving around the store with pretty goodies. The cashiers were very courteous and the customer support people were excellent and helping me find what I was looking for.

I love the deals here!!! Just be prepared to feel dirty and like you need to tale 12 showers. It is so cheap! $1.19lb for shoes, does it get any cheaper?!

Great deals! Almost everything is by weight so as long as it isnt heavy it will be really cheap! Bring gloves or be ready to sanitize your hands as soon as you leave and wash everything. Love it!

Actually, was a bit intimidated by the array of bins piled high with unorganized clothing, bedding, and accessories. But, after my niece and I developed a system, we unearthed some great finds! You definitely need to be patient and be okay with moving through piles of stuff. Fortunately, the books and furniture and electronics are separate. There is a parking lot.

Id never go to another goodwill after going here its the best goodwill hands down Ive ever been to and I hope you find your way here everything is 90% cheaper.

If you are looking for a thrift store to shop for stuff for your own personal use, (as opposed to reselling) this is not the place to go. Apparently a thrift store outlet is not like a regular store outlet. Pig troughs is a description someone else used, and thats a perfect thing to visualize. The clothes are not sorted, so its impossible to find anything. Its just a big gross depressing warehouse with people digging through piles of clothes. Some of the clothes looked good, which just highlights how out of control our consumer culture is that good clothes went through the regular thrift stores and ended up here. But I wont be coming here again, Ill be going to one of the many other thrift stores in the area.

Picked up 3 pair of casual pants for less than 10 bucks. Easily 80 bucks worth! Bring your patience. Always wash and dry prior to use.

I love coming to goodwill outlet store you always can find something good their and stuff is grate.The only minus is you can never get your self a pair of shoes, their is people who come their for business and they take all the dissent shoes, good luck on getting any pair of sneakers... Sometimes they will fight you no joke. I wish their was a limit on how many pair of shoes you can take... Like 5 per adult, then everyone would had a chance to find something for them self.

Picture huge pig troughs where they feed animals. They dump the merchandise and let people route through it like animals. The people roll up with huge bins on wheels. And toss stuff around like finding the Best morsels. I will never go there ever again and Ill save you time and wasted gas or bus fare.

What an odd place, filled with odd people and odd artifacts. Among the rubbish you might find the perfect laundry basket, board game or wall hanging. Clothes? Sell em by the pound. Home appliances? Less than 5 bucks a pop. Shoes? Hoo buddy, have they got shoes. Just dont forget to wash anything you acquire, and watch out for dirty needles!

Earlier this month had a crazy man who lives in the RV outside of Goodwill threatened to set me on fire. Had to call the cops because he had a gas can in his hand at the time. So I stay in the car now while my husband goes inside. The man is still staying there. So no longer feel safe there.

This place is absolutely filthy. Worse than any of the bins I’ve been to around the country. People are pissing in the parking lot. Staff shout at customers like they are a heard of animals. This place is a joke.

The very outlet from the macklemore video . good selection. Good prices, and good customer service. Parking is s littlest sketchy though as it is in a rough neighborhood.

Serves a purpose, but its pretty dirty. I always wear rubber gloves to pick through the enormous bins of items sold by weight. It is super cheap and kind of an adventure, be sure to keep an eye on your belongings. Also, no changing rooms.

Sometimes employees are nice but one time I went there with my cousins and birds went out of the ceiling and is super hot plus its dirty and people throw stuff just to get from the junk cars people call the bins the majority of the employees dont speak English so its impossible to communicate So if you want to go to the goodwill outlet in Seattle DONT

The Bins. You expect dumpy. This location is the worst Ive ever seen, and its not even very large. Im not easily grossed out. The stuff here is truly garbage, as opposed to many other goodwill outlets Ive frequented. Its also stacked abnormally high, so you have to dig through the filth. Got a microwave for $3. Seriously, you didnt even plug it in and see if it got power? Threw microwave in garbage, forgetting that my dinner was inside. What a waste.

Ive never been to a Goodwill Outlet before. Its a little crazy and very messy (wear gloves). You get to just siphon through bins of things that didnt sell at other stores hoping to find something decent. Everything is super super cheap, however. The furniture is only $2. Its worth it if you really need the bargain but its much more random than a regular store.

For some it will seem a little a weird to be diggeling, as we call it, they these big blue bins. But when you find the little treasures that you didnt know you were gonna find you actually say to yourself its worth it and look forward to the next chance you get to come here.

This place is huge and fun to browse for things you need (and dont need). I usually just come to look at the books since they have a pretty big section for books and they are dirt cheap ($2 - $3)

Great deals if you can do it. Everything is in bins and I dont think anything has been cleaned.

This is good store if your willing to put in the effort of searching through huge amounts of items in bins. Nothing is hung or sorted. But its very cheap too. Everything is priced per pound, i.e. ten cents a pound for clothing ect.

Parking can be difficult. Fun to dig thru the bins to find stuff but they seem to prioritize clothing, they move the bins to swap and end up with only clothes and nothing else. Wish they had bags or zip ties available to tie up christmas lights and hangers so they arent tangled in everyones way (people would probably buy them then). And dont try to throw the sorting thru stuff into another bin to condense (you will get yelled at) eventhough it would help to condense bins to make room for more. There is a sign in the parking lot that says please leave litter in the garbage can, oddly enough i didnt see any garbage cans in the parking lot, but plenty of litter scattered (perhaps they should consider having an employee monitor the parking lot with a broom and pay them better since it would a less desirable job). Love the idea of keeping things out of the landfills, plenty of useful stuff here.

The workers dont speak english too well and the phillipino managerveas very rude talking about hrles on break and to not bother him. Plus money went missing out of my friends packpack because they make you check in all backpacks..the up side is you can find a really good deal everyonce in awhile..but is that worth it to be treated rudely and have to wear protective covering when touching their merchandise??

Lol... this place follows the Seattle rule, take the dumbest person they have and put them in charge....wait outside about an hour,then when everyone leaves, left another group inside? Thats about as smart as a bag of rocks.

I just wish they had better understanding for holds. Unfortunately they only have 1 hour holds for things. Other than that its krazy people are rude and pushy over the bens but I like how instead of paying item by item you get to pay by the pound! More for ur buck!!

For what it is you can still find some good values for your used clothing and furniture dollars.

Goodwill outlet is a store, a destination, an event, and a lifestyle.If you frequent this place you start to recognize the professionals, the people buying to resell to vintage stores, to resell on ebay, or to ship home and sell in Ghana.When clothes are priced by the pound and youve got time to kill this is a great place to spend a few hours digging. I never go with any expectations because its mostly junk. This goes double for anything thats not clothes. Buying any sort of media or houseware that isnt totally destroyed is a miracle.I think the appeal for me is the voyeurism into other peoples lives, as well as the operational decisions Goodwill has to make when they sort all this crap. You can see when someone went to that bowling team building exercise back in 95 and they got a t-shirt, or when someone passed away and their family donated their entire wardrobe to Goodwill and now its here at the surplus store.This is a good place for disposable couches, they let you buy them and then come back to get them with a truck.They switch out the bins about 12 at a time every hour or so, and then its a feeding frenzy to get all the good stuff. If they bring out shoes or bags look out, you might lose a finger.This place has to be experienced to be believed, I strongly recommend everyone check this place out regardless of whether they are looking for anything.Anyone thats a germaphobe should bring gloves.
