I hired Dallas Watson Flooring for both new engineered wood floors and quartz counter tops in my Seattle high rise condo. They were both amazing and easy to work with. Worked with Laura VanBrunt on the front end who really knew her stuff, and Caroline Jordan on the office end who was always helpful and easy to communicate with. Their installers were both thorough and very clean. I would definitely recommend this company. Ill post pictures of the finished project at a later date. It looks amazing!

I didn’t just need new floors. I needed my whole house to feel like it was flat. Dallas Watson delivered in such a big way for me. I am so impressed and thankful that I chose to work with this company. My house is finally awesome!My 110-year-old-home in West Seattle had a century of settlement and an embarrassing 4-inch decline from the front of the house to the back kitchen. On top of that, the original hardwood was splintered so badly in places that I had to sand it down and put electrical tape over it so I wouldn’t get stabbed in the foot. My floors were such a paint point that I never had a housewarming party. That was more than two years ago.Knowing I was looking at a major project, I talked to many companies about all sorts of options. Lifting the house altogether and adding a basement/third floor. Driving piles underneath the foundation to level the house and fix the dip. I talked to soil scientists and geo-techs. All of the advice I got was that my foundation was actually in good shape. The geo-tech convinced me I didn’t have to drive piles if I didn’t want to. He said to focus on the floors if that’s what I needed to be happy.From the very first on-site visit I had with Ami, the Dallas Watson flooring consultant who gave me the quote, to every interaction I had with Ruslan, the installer who did all the work himself and single-handedly solved my problem, I felt like a valued client and part of the team. More importantly, I trusted that Dallas Watson had everything under control.Sure, there were twists and turns along the way, but what major renovation project doesn’t have a few bumps on the road? The end result is what matters most. My floors are flat for the first time in forever. The Adura Rigid luxury vinyl I choose looks amazing. And I finally had the housewarming party I always intended. I’ve been hosting friends and family all summer!Ruslan—thank you!!! Words can’t describe how impressed I am with the work you did. To fix the 4-inch dip in my house, Ruslan measured every inch of every joist throughout the main floor and meticulously shaved down pieces of wood to place on top of the joists. This leveled the floor and allowed him to lay down the sub-floor on a flat surface that didn’t exist before. That level of detail is insane, and it’s exactly what my project needed.Super, super impressed with Dallas Watson and thrilled with my new floors. Worth every penny!

We worked with Laura and Ronda on a project recently. They were amazing. Laura clearly takes pride in her work and helped us find the right materials and patterns to get the result we were looking for. Ronda was incredibly responsive and made everything run smooth. We are in the middle of our 2nd project with Dallas Watson, both with Laura VanBrunt as our designer. We were very happy with the guidance and high quality work on our first project, so went straight back to DW the next time we needed flooring & tile. We have recommended them to family & friends.Two especially notable parts of our experience:1) Excellent customer service. Laura was always available for us by email/text/phone, and met us in person at the DW showroom, our project site, and our residence- whatever was needed.2) Conscientious installers. The folks who installed our flooring & tile took pride in their work and made suggestions on a few details that we didnt think about but probably would have regretted afterwards had they not brought them to our attention. I think thats a true tell for what youre getting with DW: everyone, through all parts of the business, is working to ensure a great end result.Project #1: updating downtown condo prior to selling (see photos)Laura helped select wood flooring, carpet, countertops and paint that all coordinated with each other and uplifted our 8-year-old unit to the look prevalent in brand new buildings. This was our first time working without a general contractor, but Laura made it easy by coordinating schedules for everything, including with our painter. As unexpected details popped up during the project, Laura helped us figure out the best design choices and the finished product was really quite stunning. Our home sold very quickly for a great price, and we are confident that the high quality work on the upgrades was key to that outcome.Project #2: updating 100-year-old Capitol Hill condo (no photos yet)Laura helped us with all major rooms: wood flooring in the living room & bedroom, tile flooring in the bathroom & kitchen and a new bathroom tub/shower tile surround. As in Project #1 she also helped us think through paint colors to coordinate with all the new wood & tile surfaces. The bathroom tile work is finished and looks fantastic, helped along by the installers pointing out some tile pattern issues that we had not fully thought through.

About 4 years ago Dallas Watson Flooring (DWF) installed our hallway and bathroom flooring (Luxury sheet vinyl from Mannington). They did an excellent job!Recently a couple of small areas were damaged by a need to use a Hoyer lift (to transfer a wheelchair-bound person) for an extended period of time. I was heartbroken since my design is not being sold anymore.But thankfully DWF has a gifted installer (at least one) who was able to use remnants from the original installation to replace the damaged sections. He did a fabulous job and it is impossible to tell where the new parts are! I am so grateful that I am able to keep the flooring I like so much.

High-quality, professional work with respectable contractors and management who went above and beyond on our bathroom remodel. We hired them to tile the tub surround, add a niche, and lay our floor tile. They were so precise and asked a lot of questions before getting started. The team was very experienced, focused, and kept a clean job site. Dallas Watson knocked it out of the park and is now our go-to for all tile work moving forward! Were very pleased. :)

Dallas Watsons team members were the definition of professionalism from end to end on our project. Their process stood out from the first call, as they sent Amy out for a free estimate without hesitation (even when we were in the very early/feasibility stages of our project). The show room is conveniently located in Georgetown with weekend hours, and their selection is above and beyond the big box hardware stores. They installed carpet and LVP for us and took care of every detail including trim repair and door shaving that we didnt even consider upfront. If you want to be happy with the process and thrilled with your result, choose Dallas Watson!

We’ve had a great experience working with Dallas Watson and highly recommend using them for new installs as well as repairs. Our home has a winding staircase and angled bedrooms. Dallas Watson replaced carpeting in those areas with expertise that is evident in how the floors were laid in those odd-shaped areas. We also used them to refresh existing wood floors and do repairs to our kitchen wood floor that was gouged during remodeling. Now, there’s no evidence that repairs were needed.

The Dallas Watson team does a great job from beginning to end. We have done two projects with them and have been very happy we chose this company. Highly recommend.

We sort of randomly picked Dallas Watson online, went to the store and immediately knew they were the best! Very friendly, knowledgeable, huge selection and locally owned. We selected a beautiful carpet on first visit, which is unusual. Ami came to measure the space and was fantastic. Installation was awesome. We were so happy, we chose them to do cork floors in our living room and kitchen, also amazing! Huge thank you to the Dallas Watson crew!!

After a lot of research, I hired Dallas Watson. I read that if you can afford it, its better to go with a specialist for flooring because with handymen and Home Depot, the quality isnt as good. After seeing the final product, Im very happy I went with Dallas Watson.Ill get the negatives out of the way first, and explain why they arent a problem:1. The price is a bit higher. The estimated cost from Home Depot (not the final cost) would have been about 40% less.2. Initially reaching them for a quote was slightly challenging.For the price, I would say you get what you pay for in regards to quality. Dallas Watson was upfront about cost, gave good estimates, and told us where we could save money or where it was important to focus. They gave us options with pros and cons and let us pick. The work and attention to detail in the project is incredible. The product will last several decades and has a warranty. If theres any time to spend more on having a good job done, its this.For the difficulty in reaching them, I had tried to e-mail them initially, but didnt hear back. I had tried to call, but didnt get through, left a message and didnt hear back. I was free and just drove to their show room. I mentioned the difficulty and they apologized and said theyd look into and fix that issue. Once we went in and all through the entire project, communication was perfect with regular updates by phone, text, and e-mail.Now for the good:1. The work they did was excellent; even small details. I went around and looked closely at the result and I found no issues. It looks fantastic, and as of right now I have zero complaints. Its beautiful.2. They communicated every step, they told us where we can save money, were upfront about issues, and responsive.For my project, there was an issue with my subfloor not being level enough for the floor manufacturer warranty. They sent me pictures of the issue and provided 3 solutions at different prices with their pros and cons, discussed the issue, and let me decide.3. Our project included removing carpets and hardwood, but the day after they removed all the flooring the entire state of Washington was hit by mandatory stay-at-home order from the governor, something nobody could plan around. The house was entirely unoccupied at this time, but I had been waiting to list my condo until after flooring was done so I was stuck with two mortgages. Dallas Watson tried to work with the governors office on being given the go-ahead on the house work in an empty house, and then when it didnt work out, continued to try. They ended up getting the go-ahead to work in unoccupied houses and immediately got back to work. Due to the extra challenges, they even offered we could move all of our stuff in and they would do the furniture moving free of charge to finish the job. We didnt take them up on it but it was a generous offer.4. I had confidence in their work. In my experience, working with contractors I havent worked with before I always have unease about if they are going to take care of my place, if they know what they are doing or will give enough attention, or if they are cutting corners. From talking through the project with Laura, having Ami come out for measurements, and all my communication with them, I felt at ease and comfortable leaving my house and investment in their hands. Its easy to forget the potential unease that can come with leaving your home in someones care, and its hard to overstate how much of a relief it is to feel you can trust someone with it.5. The number of options in their showroom was fantastic, with a very wide range of options and samples I could take.Im sure I missed some things. I did a lot of research: I had an Excel document with 5 flooring companies with aggregated reviews and social media history from 10 websites in comparison with estimates from the top 3. I am an anxious person about big purchases. With that said, I am happy with my experience with Dallas Watson and recommend them to anyone looking to upgrade their floors.

They poured self-leveling concrete in our basement so we can install rigid luxury vinyl flooring. We were very happy with their work.

We had to patch our floors and then refinish the entire thing, and Dallas Watson was great. They were honest, diligent, and walked us through the whole process. When they made a mistake and damaged some paint, they came back immediately to fix it until it was right. Were very happy with our new floors!

I was searching for new hardwood floors for my home remodel and had a very particular color/look I was going for. I had been to about 5 different hardwood floor and the service, help, and knowledge at Dallas Watson was hands down the best. Within 10 minutes they were able to pick up on what I was going for. Pricing was comparable if not a little cheaper than other similar hardwood I had looked at.

We have worked with this company for 3 different jobs, 2 different houses. The first project was our townhome and they matched the bamboo perfectly. The second job was broken up into to different areas of the house, and its fantastic. They arrive on time, the house is very clean when we come back from out of town. The last time they stopped by to answer some questions we had and ensured that we were satisfied before making the final payment. Very good company to work with and they do outstanding work.

I worked with Melanie, on a carpet replacement that was needed for one of the rooms in my house. I wanted something that matched what we already had in the home for color, but since it was an isolated room, it didn’t have to be an exact match. She quoted me for a lower end carpet to match what we had from the builder, but then she said that they had a very luxury remnant that would fit the room and could install it for the same price as the custom order! Plus they saved the old carpet and installed in my garage coming up to the house door. The installer was so nice and careful which is what you want when someone comes into your home.

Ami from Dallas flooring was extremely helpful in my flooring project. I had new floors and tile installed in the basement of my house, and I was able to work with her in coming up with solutions to the challenges of the space. It looks great, and I would easily recommend working with them on a residential project.

Im an older guy with lots of experience with vendors, having built 2 custom homes and dealt with many companies in all parts of Washington State. I have NEVER dealt with a better company than Dallas Watson flooring! How often do companies LOOK for ways to remove items from your bill after you have already paid them a hefty deposit. How often do they show up on time and complete the project exactly when they said they would? How often do they do a REALLY quality job? These guys tick all the boxes. I would not hesitate to use them again if I ever had the need.

I had two quotes for carpet. Dallas Watson was superior in every way. I became extremely uncomfortable with the quoting process of the other company. On the day of the install the guys were on time and professional and the carpet looked beautiful in the space. I love it!!!

Dallas Watson put in white oak sand and finish in place floor for our family. The floor is beautiful, the work was finished on time, and they really managed to control the dust. Their workmen were friendly and professional as well. I would highly recommend Dallas Watson to friends.

We live in a condo and had new flooring installed. We met with Christina from Dallas Watson and she presented us with several options. After asking about our lifestyle, pets, room lighting and such we settled on LVP. We were planning a trip out of town and they accommodated the install to correlate with this trip. Because the floor was not level, they had to pour a totally new subfloor. Christina was up-front about this possibility and the price for such and as it turned out, was the best thing that we could have done. Alexi and his crew did a great job of installing and we have wonderful flooring in our condo. The Redupax, additional sound reduction installation, was perfect and the finished look of the place is better than what we expected. OVERALL, a great company to work with, Christina was helpful, knowledgeable, and responsive. Dallas stopped by after all was done, to pick up some equipment, and had to see the finished work. He was also impressed by the overall look, and feel of the flooring. I would highly recommend them.

We spent an entire day meeting with various flooring companies, but not connecting with any of them. Then we found Dallas Watson. We were met by a charming dog and very nice people. We were shown around the store by Bo and then left on our own to look around, pull samples and come up with a flooring plan.We liked the fact that we didnt feel pressured to commit with them on the spot and instead we were encouraged to take the samples home, see what worked and didnt work, and then get back in touch.It just seemed like a no-brainer to work with Dallas Watson.Bo came out and got all of the measurements and we made our final decisions about what we were going to install in our vintage Lake Forest Park home. We knew we had hardwood floors under the fully carpeted home, but there were some questions about the dinning room. We would have to play it by ear. The kitchen, and both bathrooms, would get new marmoleum flooring which would provide the needed pop of color.As suspected we couldnt save the original hardwood floors in the dining room. Bo offered up a couple of scenarios and gave us the estimates on the spot so we could make a quick decision and keep the momentum going.In the end Dallas Watson delivered above and beyond. We appreciated the level of professionalism by Bo and the Dallas Watson team. We were always in touch regarding our timeline as well as knowing when each installer would be at our house and for how many days. The installers were really great guys. Super knowledgeable and very skilled. Every aspect of the project was enjoyable and stress free.Do yourself a favor and visit the good folks at Dallas Watson. We highly recommend them. Knowing that i had a tight timeline and a botched job through my previous contractor, these guys stepped in to get started asap. They had been at work for 2 hours on my floors when Dallas himself called me from my condo to discuss difficulties with the job - he went out of his way to accommodate my request and work with me. again, within 10 minutes they were delivering new materials and got to work. a job that had taken 6 weeks to botch by previous contractor, was transformed by Dallas Watsons team in three days and the result is fantastic - i only wish i got these guys in earlier and could not recommend them highly enough!!! worth every cent

The folks at Dallas Watson Flooring are very professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and really went the extra mile on our project. Their proposal was about 20-25% higher than other bids, but it included so much more that other companies wouldnt provide. We were replacing carpet with wood and other companies wanted us to remove closet cabinetry, hire people to remove baseboards, work with painters after replacing baseboards, etc. DW included all of this for us and managed the entire process - thank you, Christina. Best money ever spent.Regarding quality - our installer knew precisely what he was doing and took pride in doing it the right way, the first time. He assessed the project right away and proposed methods of making the flooring level with existing tile and really took his time and provided a quality installation. He was here for about 4 days, and we got to know that he has 8+ years experience (not just 6, haha) and you can tell he enjoys what he does. The craftsmanship and details were important to him, and we appreciate quality work - thank you, Vadim.About communication - we had a few speedbumps to work thought to coordinate workdays during a snowstorm, pickup and drop off of supplies, existing schedule conflicts, etc but the communication was well above par, and the project was completed on time while issues were discussed promptly.Consider working with DW - you get what you pay for, and if you like quality install and good communication, these folks might be for you.

The short version of this review is that we are very happy with our Kahrs World Brazilian Cherry/La Paz floor!The numerous positive reviews here directed me to Dallas Watson. I also experienced very responsive and supportive sales service from Ami. Ours was a 450 sq ft job of removing old carpeting and laying flooring on top of the original oak floors in the house of an elderly family member where refinishing was completely out of the question. Ami was very patient as we went thru decision changes offering suggestions to reduce costs. Project coordinator Dena was also very responsive and timely.There were a couple of events that increased the stress for me in this process: a mistake on the delivery date of the flooring and only one installer for the job (I assumed at least two people would come out to start the job). All around, the installer, Vadim, was very professional, detail-oriented and orderly. It seemed to require much more time than was communicated to me. Im willing to be flexible, however with an elderly person in the house who didnt want to leave, it was that much more stressful. And then we had to accommodate two more occasions related to small finishing work. I include these details in case you have special circumstances as we did.Overall, with pluses and minuses, 4 stars. We look forward to doing business with Dallas Watson again, clarifying details and not assuming them.

Best place when not expecting repeat service.

This review is long overdue. We worked with Maline, and I felt so fortunate that we found her while we just relocated to Seattle area. Shes approachable, efficient, diligent, and trustworthy. We contacted several floor companies, and Maline was the one who always replied me in a timely manner. Our plan was to find new wood to match the existing wood in our house and we were on a tight timeline. Long story short, through trials and error, we eventually decided the best solution was to ripe off the old and install new wood for the entire house. So we went ahead, and it just went beautifully. I think we had a challenging task to begin with given our unique floor situation and tight timeline. I had to have someone like Maline that I could always communicate easily with and who could always address my concerns while I had other obligations to deal with during our long relocating process. Maline and her team is the best I could find in meeting my needs. I recommend them 100%.

Good luck trying to get an estimate from this company! In the last 2 months they have been to my house 3 times always saying I will get an estimate within a few days. They never provide the estimate Dallas Watson himself came to my house and said he would give me an estimate in a few days. Still waiting as usual for that estimate? Dont know what their deal is, but some of the worst customer service I have ever received.
