What better way to complete your shopping in Seattle than a visit to the Chocolate factory. Staff are very helpful and friendly and offer sample tasting of cakes on show. We opted for a slice of fudge chocolate and peanut chocolate. You can have 1/4 pound size upwards and you can eat in or take it home. If you dont fancy the cake try individual chocolates or just settle for a chocolate drink- they are all yumme.
Kind of annoyed because I ordered something for a friend’s birthday and paid for shipping (I was TOLD it would ship in one day). This was a Wednesday. Today is Saturday and I called and they said it won’t ship even until Monday because they don’t want to “run the risk of it sitting somewhere” when that’s literally what it’s doing right now?Anyways, it will ship on Monday, my friend’s birthday, and it will miss him by three days or more… which was exactly what I was trying to avoid. So I am extremely annoyed at my selection for a gift. No reason it should take over a week from purchase to be delivered.
Visited Pike Place for lunch and saw this shop as we passed by. They have apples in the window that shows their flavors and thats what made me go in. The Caramel & Milk Chocolate apple is so good! They offer to cut the apples for easier eating as well. Cant wait to go back & try more stuff!
I got free 1 lb fudge today because I needed to spend an extra 25 cents, they let you know about the deals. It a perfect family tradition visiting your store and choosing all your tasty treats. Everything in your store is incredible!
Just wanted to say that your employee Alexandra was AWESOME! Not only was she friendly, she was also really good at suggesting some great gifts!Had an AWESOME experience because of her. Thank you Alexandra!
Tons of chocolate selections. It took me a while to decide on what I wanted. They are all look delicious. Ended up bought a lot. Saw another review that the staff offer chocolate samples but I didnt get the offer.
Staff were so nice and let us have samples! They did not rush us and let us take as much time as we needed to order. My caramel apple was amazing!
This place is great and smells SOOO good! We tried a variety of chocolates and they were all perfect! If you check in with Yelp, you get a free fudge with purchases above $15. They had so many options, it was hard to choose. I choose the Oreo fudge and it is was wonderful! Next time I will try the apples!
Great variety of chocolates & confections but everything is tad too sweet. The chocolates are not subtly flavored or rich, just plain sweet indulgence.
I know it is a busy store but I dont like the fact that the salesperson did not weigh my fudge. It makes you feel more like you are getting what you pay for since it is pricey.
I just love candy this is a good place for people with a sweet tooth like myself.
The best carmel apple Ive ever eaten!
The lady was really awesome with my family and I. She took her time to explain what things were and was very friendly. She definitely made our family trip down town much more enjoyable. It was definitely a memory to walk the downtown streets to our car eating delicious sweet chocolate with my husband. I loved it and Ill will think about the sunny Saturday we had at the ferris wheel and pikes place for sure!
Definitely overpriced but really delicious caramel apples! Must try!
These folks are so happy to see you walk in. Ready to sample chocolate, they know everything about every origin and ingredient. The sipping chocolate is amazing!
Amazing! I wish I was able to order online and get the candy apples shipped to me. Had the cheesecake caramel apple. BLEW MY MIND. The staff was super attentive. I wish I had another. 😭
Love this place. A bit pricey, but worth every penny. Everything is also so fresh. The apple pie caramel apple is my favorite.
Horrible experience. They had rocky road cluster free with $30 purchase. We are alleegic to marshmallow so we asked for some different chocolate instead. But she did not offer to accommodate our request and rudely said no. She was in hurry and wanted to jusr get money. Would not recommende this place when she is in the store.
I wish it was a payday week when I came in, but atleast I got free smells 😂
Nick was an excellent help!
Just received a door dash order. Apple rotten inside so could not eat. Chocolates were old and starting to turn white.
Best chocolate shakes ever holy Hell... such a treat.
Best candy store in seattle they always have fresh products always a fan with the kiddos 10+
Customer service here is amazing!! I called and the lady answered right away and helped with my order for pick up that day! When I walked in I was immediately greeted and helped! The strawberries were really good and beautiful! And it was so inexpensive as well!
Very yummy 😋
Since we are staying home these days due to Covid concerns, we miss stopping at Pike Place RMCF. We love their delicious apples!!!For Halloween, I placed a phone order for apples to be mailed to our home.A special thank you to Kayla, who had the order delivered the following day! We were thrilled at how easy she made this, and we will be ordering these special treats again!
Great customer service just missing few items.
Great treats, excellent customer service. Type of chocolate for almost everything.
Keep going. -DOOHOO
Never had anything i wasnt happy with
Good stuff!
Caramel Apples are super disappointing. Stopped in and purchased one quickly with nice customer service. I paid about $9 for a regular caramel apple that I could have made way better and cheaper in my opinion. When peeling the paper away from the apple (which is necessary whether its sliced or whole), about 60% of the caramel stuck to the paper, not the apple. On top of that, the apple was warm and the caramel was slightly gritty... 3 starts for nice customer service, a clean store and delicious smells.
Love the Chocolate, super clean and friendly store. Nice customer service.
This is THE BEST place to get your chocolate needs met. Its the best Im terms of prices compared to anywhere else I have been. And the service is to die for. Their Customer Service skills are LIKE ROYALTY entered the establishment. Ha ha ha. Great place to take the kids.
They say Premium Chocolate but that doesnt even start to describe the special tastes in this store. Hint: try one of their brownies! Oh my! A great stop in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the busy street. Stop in once, youll be back again and again! 🍪🍫💝
Wasn’t impressed for what I paid.Ordered the coconut haystack and the Oreo white chocolate thing.Paid $15. They were good. But very basic, just the chocolate and either coconut or Oreo. Very hard chocolate at that.I wasn’t very happy with the experience. Maybe if I’d gotten more of a specialty item, it would have felt more like getting my money’s wirth. Also, a homeless person walked into the store asking me for money as I was eating at my table. I respectfully declined. He then stepped and reached behind me grabbing a handful of bagged candies and walked right out without paying. No one seemed to notice. It was very uncomfortable.
Yummy chocolate
Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory is Awesome this place is so way cool . The candy is so good theres so much to choose from its all good . This place is beautiful . Theres so many different kinds it makes you wanna try a few of them . This place is easy to find . its just down the street from the public market in Seattle . What a sweet place to visit with your family and friends . I love this place #love
Rocky Mountain has an amazing selection of treats for the chocolate lover. Their ice cream is an excellent choice also.
Easily my favorite store this chain has. Their store is clean and very open. Great selection, friendly staff. Their Moose tracks ice cream is amazing.
Absolutely my favorite place to visit when up in Seattle! They have the most delicious chocolate treats. Ice Cream and fudge around. Its a must stop location if you want to satisfy your sweet tooth!
A nice collection of chocolates and chocolate covered fruits. Well balanced sweetness between fruits and chocolates! Good job guys!
Lot of options. Must try everything.
Fantastic but a bit pricey. The chocolate covered strawberries are $5.50!
Chocolate is exceptional, albeit a bit pricey. Staff were friendly, but were a bit overbearing during our visit today. I dont mind being welcomed in, but they went well beyond that before I had the chance to look around! They were insightful nonetheless, and the store is one of the most gorgeous in the market!
Just left this store. Bought some chocolate and a pint of ice cream. Chocolate was okay. But when I got home and gave my son the pint, it had 2 scoops of ice cream in it. Anywhere I have ever bought a pint from, it was not 2 scoops in it. I, in fact, have worked at an ice cream parlor in high school. And even then (as a teen) I knew that if people pay for a pint that you give them a full pint. They should put up a sign that says Pint $6.00, (roughly 2 scoops in a pint cup/not actually anywhere close to a full pint).. The price doesnt bother me. But they should specify. Pretty disappointed. =( Prob wont be going back.
Im a huge fan of their candy apples. Really everything is delicious. Pretty pricey but definitely a good treat.
I can only say the spot is awesome. So many delicious treats. We had chocolate covered strawberry and they were perfect.
Looks good and they have a lot of traffic most of the time. They are quite popular up in pikes place.
Amazing as always
The Best Chocolate store in Seattle. Great for kids with big eyes! Lots of choices and options. Especially if you like apples. And if youre REAL lucky youll have Lauren take care of you. Exceptional customer service from her!
We picked up two small cups of ice cream and they were very delicious. Inside is very nice with with a calm atsmophere.
Great place !
Smiles and welcoming attitudes to all. Wonderful service.
I love this place! They have the best caramel apples. The apples are a little pricey but are so worth it!
Super yummy I just couldnt believe there is no restroom for paying customers.
Awesome, any type of chocolate youll ever want or need, delicious.
Rocky Mountain in Seattle has a wide variety of chocolate based treats. They have an entire case full of items that they make in house, as well as another couple of imported items as well. Their prices are as expected for being near Pike Place and being chocolate - expensive. Definitely worth trying out though if you are in the area. They use a lot of local ingredients too which makes it a little more acceptable of the amount of money you need to spend when walking in there. Great quality stuff.
The chocolate was delicious but the service was awful. She walked away to hand out sampkes as I came up to the register. I asked for 5 pennies in my change so I could use the penny machine to get a souvenirs and she refused. She was wearing gloves but she collected my money and retrieved my brownie (in that order) with the same gloves. I am sure that defeats the purpose of the gloves. Will probably not go there again.
Amazing chocolates!
If you love chocolate, this place is for you. Great toffee apples with all of the flavours and decorations.
Bring your money and leave with good stuff!!! I love caramel apples so Im addicted... I wish they had a drive thru but I will always stop in while downtown!!
Employees were extremely nice and the fudge was some of the best. All Ive been coast to coast. VERY VERY GOOD!!
Candy apples are super expensive here. Go to North Bend instead and get them for half price.
The best seevice... very friendly staff...and the smell inside store is so...yummy...the chocolates are delicious...I stop here every year when I visit my patents... Dee from Maryland
Very good candy apples, but seriously overpriced at $12.99 per apple (2018). Service was a bit aloof. For apples at that insane price, I would hope that they could employee more than minimum-wage-receiving-students who barely greet and provide customer service.
Slow service before anyone even acknowledges you. Then I asked for a small sample of ice cream for my daughter to try so she can decide on flavor. The cashier tells me I have to buy the ice cream first before he can give me sample. How silly is that??! I tell him my daughter cant decide on the flavor so wed like a small taste of ice cream first. And again he tells me to buy a come first before he can let me sample. Horrible customer service. Will never go back there again!
Ive been addicted to their Carmel apples, for years. my 1st experience was a trip to Seattle. Its expensive to purchase them online cause shipping costs are high. But I have RMCF radar and when I find a local store Im inside in seconds. chocolates pretty good to, especially English toffee
Helpful staff, and the most delicious caramel apples!
Always a pleasure!!
This place is a nationwide chain, but their confections are always on point. I particularly like this place for its flair. One time I saw a huge stuffed bear with swimming goggles just sitting on a bench. It made my day
It was a good experience for this chocolate lover. Chocolate covered potato chips were a hit. Staff was exceptional and friendly
Good chocolates but way over priced. Was really turned off by a man with long fake nails assisting me with my order. Candy covered apples start at 15.00!
Good chocolate, i ate it so fast I forgot to take a picture
Everything Is amazing here. Ice Cream, candy, fudge... But most of their Ridiculous Caramel Apples!!
Pricey, but great chocolate. Try the caramel apples, delicious, great toppings.
Ive never been into caramel apples...until I walked into this place, sooooo good it was ridiculous. I ate two. The flavors were amazing! DEFINITELY GO, REALLY AWESOME!
We love their caramel apples. They have a lot of different options of toppings. Snickers is one of our favorites.
The brownies here are awesome. You can get them hot and enjoy with vanilla ice cream - there are tables, but they are not that comfortable to sit at - not a place to hang - but definitely a place to satisfy an urgent sugar requirement. I recommend taking the brownies home and enjoying them slowly there. Incredible! (By the way, the carmel apples look fabulous, but unless you are under 10, they are not fun to eat. Hard to bite through, you mostly just get a mouthful of carmel or whatever is on it, and then have apple juice dripping down your chin.
Clean, Courteous, Delicous. Three things guaranteed when visiting Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory. A must stop when visiting the Pike Place Market.
Such an amazing place! Super delicious goodies. Family enjoyed it! ESPECIALLY the children! Lol (well of course) and service was.even better hreat employees! Total 5 outta five. Clean place and vsry enjoyable!
Chocolate was fresh but that need someone to clean up behind the other guest
