Owned by Pei Wen Tsai, Dolan Company is known for Apartment Rehab. They are now attempting to become kitchen remodelers with very poor results.Their new showroom may look nice but it is only a facade, once you scratch through the cheap veneer, you will find only apartment grade cabinets with knock off brand hardware.The made in China cabinets offered by Dolan Co. are of low quality and the installation from their crews is not any better.I worked with Dolan Company on a number of jobs last year.I got many complaints of poor workmanship which had to repaired by other outside companies.These were just some of the bad ones:1. No Floor Prep, Crew walked on carpet with muddy shoes - Result we needed to have our customers carpets cleaned2. Bad quality raised seam in granite - Result we needed to hire an outside company repair and polish seam at high expense $1,000.3. Scratches on countertops - Again needed to call outside company to repair $300.4. Last minute cabinet substitution due to poor planning and poor Chinese supply line - Result we needed to explain to our customer why Dolan couldn’t get it right.5. Crew Used off limits bathroom - Results was profuse apology to the customer and maid service.6. Installers speak only broken English - A language barrier resulted in Poor job site communications and the installation crew not following job blueprints, always choosing the easy way resulting in compromise to finish quality.Beware, similar problems will plague your job also.This company may be ok if you need fix up old apartments, but I would not trust them with working on your family home.Ask them to show you a portfolio of their work on residential kitchens they have done, ask for references of their work before you ever think of using this company, you will find they have very little to show.Avoid this company = Avoid these problems for yourself.“The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten”
