I am a dedicated patron of this market for the following reasons:1. lard - the real deal - great quality made in house - for sale in pint containers.2. thin grilling meats covered in a house marinade - so amazing to grill with almost no work. always impresses friends. i like to ask for the thinly sliced beef to be covered in the marinade.3. new sausages that the Butcher just started making, perfectly spiced and delicious. eating one tonight made me realize i need to write this review.4. bulk chilis, beans, huge bags of hibiscus - spice wall. very comprehensive. only thing i have not found here is epazote - which i think they may get fresh seasonally.5. homemade salsas (so hot!) in the fridge area. While the vegetable section is very small, mostly just limes, tomatillos, peppers, cilantro, some seasonal speciality items like chayote or nopales, the real draw is the butcher shop. the butcher is super friendly a total food geek who loves to give advice and has steered me in some really good directions. the shop is small but the items are purposefully curated and dang delicious. Support this family run business and you will be rewarded.

My kids had cravings for tacos on a sunny day. After some research, I came across “Carniceria Azteca” and wow! We experienced one of the best and really fresh “Cecinas, Arrachera and Chorizo”.We found also “Quesillo” from Oaxaca and even “epazote”, so we also had fabulous Quesadillas at home. This small Butcher / Grocery Store is a hidden gem in Seattle.Great Customer Service provided by Marcos!

Someone got me a cook book called Nopalito that inspired me to cook more of the Mexican foods I usually love to get eating out. This is a great place to get meats. The owner is really friendly and has been kind about adding sauces to my meats and introducing me to new things, like their chorizo!

Such a gem of a spot tucked away in upper ID/little Saigon. Fresh house-made chorizo and a great selection of other meats, and a very well thought out inventory of chiles, tortillas, flours and other essential Mexican groceries. Ownership extremely helpful and welcoming. Excited to have found them and Ill be back often.

They also carry different kinds of mexican sodas that are so good alomg with spices and ingredience for ethentic latin dishes.

The cured meat is very good, but the bad thing is that they do not accept the food card and at the moment it is very important due to the situation we are experiencing.
