This is my second site where Ive hired Guardian. I was very pleased with my first experience, and now very pleased with my second experience. Trace Turpin and his team were great. Took time to explain what was happening during the install, and took plenty of time setting up the back end with me and explained how it all worked (First install I hired them for was a residence, second install was commercial).Great job Guardian team, keep up the good work!!
This is definitely a business you can feel secure in. The annual inspections are done without a hitch, and the inspectors are knowledgeable.

I work here as a dispatcher. Im really impressed by the way management treats us, and we actually do try really hard to provide the best customer service. If I owned a house or business Id buy their (our?) service for sure.
This company does not deserve your business. Stay away!They cant compete with modern solutions like Simplisafe or Frontpoint in pricing, technology or service, so they have resorted to locking customers in long 3 year contracts. They claim their contract pricing is lower, which is a blatant lie. Their pricing is much higher than competitors and equipment thats really old and junk (our equipment runs on an analog phone line and is still more expensive than modern systems!). Cameras, door sensors and cloud storage is not even included in that uncompetitive price.Moreover, they purposefully mislead you when you want to cancel. They say all we ask for is a 30 day notice. And when you have already purchase another system, they will email back - oops, you had a contract and now you owe us for next several months even though we are not monitoring or providing any services for you. To make it worse, they will restart the contract for next 3 years when you purchase a home or business that has ongoing contract with them.Checkout their yelp page, its full of 1 star reviews and stories about terrible customer service. If you go to their website, they are misleading again by only showing positive reviews. All this company cares about is your money. I am rooting for the new age technology companies and I hope they will put legacy money suckers like Guardian out of business.

We just have a bid from Guardian Security for 5 of my location. I started to install and upgrade one of my location and we would say it did NOT went well. Lack of coordination, schedule overdue. Communication was answered but lack of contents and explanation to update the client. We are now hesitant to push for another 4 projects.
The company responds promptly to customer inquiries and the technicians are skilled and efficient.
Guardian came in with a realistic quote that didnt oversell us what we needed. They were clear and prompt in their communication about the transition process and delivered what they promised. Well done!
Had initial issue with alarm not working. Travis Baird had a technician out the next day to replace faulty panel at no charge. Great customer service.
My review of this company was a 4, and now its a 1. I have three services with them, security, building access and cameras. After 3.5 years, our camera system has gone crazy. After 6 months of trying to fix it, they want to charge me for the service calls that failed to fix the problem. I have a camera system that does not work and I have to pay them for their service. My only option is to either leave or buy an equivalent system (not higher specs) - since they cannot fix what they have. Why have I been paying a service fee to get no service? Beware of their claims of professionalism, when push comes to shove, Mason will hold you hostage to buy more equipment.
Bad customer service that seems to be on purpose so they can extort your money. They purposefully misled us on the cancellation fees by hiding the fact when we asked for cancellation. Equipment is old and outdated. They know they cant compete in the marketplace so they resort to shady practices. Our office, through previous owner, has been using their services for many years but they still charged for cancellation fees.
Waste of money. They are not monitoring your homes. Alarms/smoke alarms went off all day long no one called. Poor customer service. Dont do it...keep your money get a video camera it will protect your home 10 times better.

Trace did a stellar job on installation of our new security system. I especially love the care he took to make sure all components and wiring were as compact and tidy as possible and to walk us through how to use everything. Job was finished early too!
Guardian Security has been terrific to work with. They have an excellent product (as do other security companies), but the service they provide is separates them from the pack!. Every time I need assistance with additional devices or system questions they are on it, In addition, when we accidently tripped the system alarm, they were on the phone to us within seconds. We feel very comfortable knowing they are right there when we need them!

Guardian took over for our previous security company, Puget Sound Alarm. Since that time theyve managed the transition to their company well. They are responsive to our needs and have provided an app to allow for customer interaction with their company for our particular needs. We now are Guardian Security customers for both work and home and find them to be very helpful in the management of our security needs.
Great install...very knowledgeable associates and great suggestions. Training was good, and connection to Alarm.com made it easy to use on my smart phone. Thanks! Looking forward to being a client after this positive start.
I called Guardian Security to replace my keypad in my home which was increasingly difficult to make work. The technician came and said my system was old and a new keypad would be difficult to find. He then looked at box and referred me to sales. The salesperson came out and looked and sent me two estimates with monitoring. I called and emailed to say I did not want monitoring and could the panel and keypad be replaced and he did not have the courtesy to call back. I understand that the money is made in the monitoring but this is inexcusable service. I have since found a company that can replace the keypad only and will do so. These guys are in it to make money and are not helpful even to the point of saying they only sell monitored systems and dont fix the systems they installed years ago.

Patrick was very professional and attentive to exactly what we needed. He was here for the installation and was quick to follow-up, as well to make sure everything went as planned. The installer was also very professional and courteous. He took measures to make sure he was respectful of our home. We couldnt be happier! We highly recommend Guardian Security!

There is no way I could recommend this company.First, be aware that Guardian is soliciting reviews via email. If you give them 4 or 5 stars no information is needed. If you give them 3, 2, or 1 stars you have to give them your name and email address. Keep that in mind when you read the Google reviews.The rest is my original review.I had a commercial card access system installed about a year ago. At the time of install the technicians informed me that I was the only person they had sold this particular system to and he didnt really know how to install it. I guess on the plus side the technician did do a good job of finding a way to get things working, but, it was obvious that it wasnt the best way. Less than a week after install I asked for support on getting a feature of the system to work and I was told I would have to buy more hardware. At that point I searched the Web and read all the manuals my self and got the feature working by connecting one wire at each door just like the manual says! About 11 months later my whole system failed, none of the doors or readers worked. Guardian did a good job getting a technician out the same day, but, I got the same story about how he didnt know much about the system and how it was too late in the day (3PM) for him to contact support. Of course I was assured that the issue would be resolved promptly and they would keep me up to date, but, after a couple of days of me having to call Guardian and them never having an update or my escalations being responded to I took matters in to my own hands and called the manufacture my self. In less than 2 hours I had talked to technical support and parts and a totally free replacement part was on its way to me. I installed the part my self and reconfigured the system. About two weeks later Guardian sends me an email saying I have an appointment in a week and a half. No other explanation. -- As far as they know all of my doors and readers have been off-line for the past few weeks. -- Of course I call and ask them what is going on and they tell me they will be getting the part in a week and will come fix the system. I let them know that I fixed it my self and there is no need to come out. I emailed the CEO of the company about my experience and then got an email from the Service Manager. One would think that a Service Manager would just say, Sorry we screwed up. You deserve better service. and then try to compensate me for my time and effort some how, but no. The first thing the Service Manager wanted to let me know is that electronics can fail. Really? the *first* thing that he wanted to address was that things can break! I dont know anyone that doesnt already know that, even children know that.One last time, say clear of this company. Sales sells products tech support isnt trained on and customer support doesnt know how to communicate or get things done.
Our family home has had Guardian Security as our home monitoring service for quite sometime now. My late dad was the one who contacted Guardian Security for services. Since our smoke detectors are old, I had them come out to provide quotes to replace the sensors. A consultant, Nicholas Wankowski, came and started doing some quick quotes and was trying to pressure sale and asking commitment for 3 year service contract to get discount on sensors and new panels which would equate to about $2000. When asked how much it would be without 3 year service contract and he said a lot and could not give a number. I had already done some research prior and had contacted the manufacturer of our current sensors and have found that replacement sensors would cost about $80. He seems sketchy and not trust worthy at all. On his way out, he pitched that for an extra $5 per month, any service calls would be included. Time to contact ADT and cut ties.
Fake Review Alert! November 2019!I noticed that there are many short one sentence five-star reviews here. I thought this was the company that had been based in Shoreline for many years. But feeling suspicious, I checked Yelp reviews and found a company with a Seattle address with MANY real negative reviews. I wasnt 100% positive that the Yelp reviews were for the same company until I noticed that the COMPANY RESPONSE was from the same person, one Jennifer T. .I am glad I read the Yelp reviews, and I suggest that you do not base your purchase decision only on the Google reviews found here.
The quality of customer service I received recently was top-notch and I am incredibly grateful.After having difficulty arming my alarm system, I called in after hours and spoke with an on-call technician, I believe his name was Chris. He was patient as I described my concern, then walked me step-by-step through the process until the issue was resolved. The next day he even called to follow up with me just to be sure I was comfortable and not having any other issues.I can’t stress enough how pleased I am with this level of customer service. I will definitely sleep a little sounder knowing that my home is secure. Thank you!

I called in with an issue with my billing and spoke with Jennifer, who went over my billing with me. Turns out there was not an issue, the dates of service just did not print on my invoice. She offered to email me over a corrected invoice. She also went over my account history, and updated my contact list which was out of date. She took her time to make sure I was taken care of. I appreciate that in a company and am a happy Guardian Security customer for 5 years now and looking forward to many more.
So glad I went with Vivint instead. These guys called me months after I moved in using some marketing list that wasn’t even accurate (they called someone else looking for me) and then the representative I spoke with was pretty rude. Would definitely avoid this company.

Imagine my surprise when I was hit with a $1200 early termination fee! If I could give this give Guardian Security a zero star, I would. False alarms, no oversight of people when they came to check the perimeter (we have cameras and dispatch would stand in the yard and call back to say area was secured when they hadnt even checked), billing past the time we cancelled service etc etcAll of this after we somehow got duped into being their client when our former security service was sold.After all that, we cancelled service in July and told them all of our complaints. One billing agent said shed waive July and disconnect service. When we got a bill the next month for August, the next agent couldnt find any record of the waived fee. I couldnt take it anymore and just coughed out another months fee even tho we already disconnected rather than arguing. Easier than dealing w these yahoos.Mismanaged joke of a company. Just go w ADT and dont mess around w these jokers. Laughable situation—if it hadnt been such a huge pain in the a**

I would give them a zero. They have an after hours answering service that works for lots of other companies so they know nothing about Guardian. Their techs are unfamiliar with the system and cant help. I am so disappointed with Guardian.

I would give them a better rating as a company but the monitoring department really needs some training on customer service, they call me and I promptly return the call and they first hang up on me then want my code, even after i give them the company name address and my name and phone number, they hang up again...

An Unscrupulous landlord tried to claim that my alarm monitoring was not active as the lease requires it to be. Eric in sales claimed that my monitoring has not been active for 6 months. I asked for a technician to be sent over to diagnose the problem. The internet company verified that the line was fine. Today, I tested the alarm with the central office and that discovered that the monitoring is, and has been working the whole time! Apparently I have not received a call back from Mark Southern CFO of the company or Eric.

Guardian security is awesome! I narrowed my research to ADT, Xfinity and Guardian security, decided to go for the latter. Both Guardian and ADT seems to be good companies based on reviews but Guardian Security won me over because of customer service. Special mention to Judi who follows up periodically, very accommodating to answer my questions but was never pushy, unlike some other companies who wanted to schedule an installation on the day that I was just inquiring and was feeling under the weather. Chase, who installed the system was very professional and polite, showed me how to use the system online, made sure I know where everything is..including #s to call when needed. I had a glitch where I kept having false alarms and cops keep coming, they scheduled me immediately and glitch was fixed. Havent had a problem since. Feeling secured now, especially for my pets. Their motion sensor is great because my dogs who are 25lbs each doesnt trigger the alarm. Recommending this company to everyone, just ask for Judi, shes the best!
I worked with Bob Vezzani and Jeff Wieand in February 2015. They assisted me with numerous questions and evaluation for our order. They were helpful and responded in a timely manner.Through many exchanges of emails, they were able to negotiate a price that was fit for our company. Highly recommend working with them again.
Spectacular service through and through.About a month prior I had a competing rep out at my place and She seriously looked link an ex-convict. Seriously.She actually said, You know, I do a lot of business in this neighborhood. I noticed you have a very nice everything and itd be a shame if something happened to it.Side note: she was also 2 days early for the appointment...I mean, Im all for promptness but thats a bit..much.I digress.Steve was on time, not pushy and incredibly knowledgable about the products Guardian has available. He was able to offer us a system for a reasonable cost that fit our needs.The selling point for us is/was the forward thinking that went into the color control panel design (expansion option for wifi lighting control and sync to the Honeywell thermostat) and Wifi cameras that allow us to check on our dogs and monitor our home via the phone app.Bret ( install tech) was early, not the creepy I just might know people to make you sorry you didnt sign with my company type of creepy.A respectable 10 minutes early. He did a great job of removing the obsolete alarm components that were present when we bought the home and had us up and running in about an hour.Two thumbs up, thanks Guardian!

Horrible! Unless my apartment complex is giving me BS. This company is suppose to install our heat detectors; mine has been without one for over a month! Due to neighbors upstairs flooding us. And now have another one that’s been water damaged. This company can never come out to replace so my apartment manager says. And today they were suppose to come and were a no show!

I am writing this for my 83 year old mother in Renton WA who has this service and asked me to post her review since she is not able to and is extremely frustrated with this company. She switched to Guardian and has had a lot of trouble with them responding to her and/or fixing problems in the short time she has had them. Her notes:-called by Guardian to say service did not work, not sure of date-had an appointment for 6/9 at 4pm, no show and no call-she called on 6/10, 6/11, and 6/12 to reschedule, no call backs to do so.-called on 6/17, spoke to Alita, a supervisor that said she had some power to fix this.-called on 6/18, Alita not available, but that service company made their own appointments. None so far.-6/19, still trying to get alarm fixed.Will update if anything actually gets done. I will review the paperwork when I go up to visit in a few weeks and see if she can cancel and get a refund.
The after hours center that Guardian Security uses should be terminated after receiving a call from them I called back....hung up on me before I could speak, second time was rude and hung up...third time I did not have the passcode so I provided Company name, address, my name that is on file, told me they could not help me without code and hung up on again.
Staff who work at Guardian will go the extra mile to set you up with a security system that works for you.
