I had a great experience with Seattle Wedding Dress Specialists. I brought them a sample dress I purchased from Brides For a Cause and they were able to make it look brand new. I also used their tailor Pauline who altered my dress to my original size about 6 months in advance of the wedding and then again about 6 weeks before the wedding after my size changed. They were on top of every detail and did amazing work to make me look like a movie star.
Working with Seattle Wedding Dress Specialists was hands down the easiest and most rewarding part of my wedding planning, and during a Covid wedding, thats saying something!! After looking everywhere, I finally I bought a dress from a company that curates and resells showroom pieces, and I completely fell in love with it. However, at some point, the dress picked up a dirt stain on one of the straps, and I had a total panic. We live in California, but got married in my hometown of Seattle. As many brides know, planning a wedding from out of town is a whole challenge in and of itself, and trusting vendors from afar is a huge part of that. I emailed Will at the Dress Specialists in a total and complete meltdown that my dream dress was ruined forever. After looking at a few photos, Will was very sweet and reassuring over email, and we agreed I would bring it in as soon as I landed in Seattle, a week before my wedding. Once we brought the dress in, not only was Will just as sweet and reassuring in person, but he worked through his weekend and rushed to get the dress cleaned and pressed in time for my wedding. The dress turned out stunning and all of my guests gushed about it all weekend. Do not hesitate to call or email them if you have a question or concern about your dress!! They work miracles and if they were able to calm me down, I can guarantee they can calm you down! I recommend them to anyone I know in the Seattle area who is getting married, without a doubt! Thank you again Will, you were an absolute joy to work with!!
I could not recommend Seattle Wedding Dress Specialists enough! My dress arrived having been made too long and I had tight turnaround to my wedding date. The seamstress is incredibly kind, supportive, sweet and deeply experienced in her craft. The hemming on my dress was flawless and matched the original look perfectly. Would come back here in a heartbeat for any future needs!
Pauline did outstanding alteration work on my wedding dress! I had to get a second wedding dress on very short notice after an accident with my original one. Not only did Pauline do excellent work so that I could feel just as beautiful in my new dress as I did in the old one, she was also very emotionally supportive throughout the entire process. I am incredibly grateful to have found someone who knew how special the dress was to me and she was able to turn a stressful situation into something truly beautiful. Thank you, Pauline
I had my wedding dress altered by Pauline, and she did a fabulous job! She hemmed it to the appropriate length and added bustle points for my very long and heavy train. The shop space was cozy and inviting, and Pauline is such a kind and warm person. I had a great experience, so I would highly recommend!
Wonderful family owned business! Very kind folks. Was blown away at how amazing my dress looked after they cleaned it. I had grass and mud stains along the bottom and they got them all out! Cannot recommend enough!!
They did a great job cleaning my wedding dress and preparing it for long-term storage. Easy to schedule and very quick turnaround. I would highly recommend!
Just picked up my daughters wedding dress after having it cleaned. It was an outdoor wedding and there were very difficult stains along the bottom edge of the dress. They took great care in getting these stains out. The dress was boxed up beautifully in an archival box to keep it for years to come.
Great experience, got the red wine stains out of my dress. They did a quality job.
My dress was absolutely filthy after an elopement at mt rainier - mike & team got it looking like brand new ! couldn’t believe it.
