Frank and his crew at Seaview boat yard do an excellent job working on our Windworks Sailing and Powerboat Club fleet of 27 boats!
Seaview Boatyard West has always been top notch regarding everything from communication to warranting their maintenance. I would highly recommend them to anyone on the Puget Sound or Lake Washington area.
My husband and I have come to this business once or twice a month recently to fill our little propane tank. The gentlemen in their store are always so accommodating and quick. Kyle and Bob have given me some good advise on where to find various knick knacks for my sailboat as well. Very knowledgeable.
Had a good experience here, they did a nice job painting the bottom of my boat. Great access to do repairs 24-7. Communication is slow and space, otherwise would be 5 star.
I recently had my 40 ft sailboat hauled for bottom paint and some other issues. I am moored close by. The Seaview staff, everyone from the front office and billing to the super capable haulout and splash crew to Frank who scoped the work to Andy who repaired our stuffing boxes and helped bring our boat to our slip and the general friendliness - all deserve very high marks. How about costs and value for money? This may be hard to believe but the bill came in at the low end of my expectations. One of my best boatyard experiences.
Phil and tiel are stand guys who do what they say they are going to do. I recommend this facility to anyone. Rick
Been using Seaview Yard for close to 30 years.Excellent work, great people.Only use other yards when they are too busy to get me in.
Not great. I had them do some work on my boat after I ran into the railroad bridge. Most of the work got done OK, but there were some notable exceptions. They totally lost the jib sheet - nowhere to be found Same with the furling line. Then I took the boat out sailing, and afterwards noticed that the boom was not secured to the mast! And the mainsail mast slides were not secured at all,, so the sail just fell off the mast as it was raised / lowered. I should have checked the boat much more thoroughly beforehand as someone (my family) could have been seriously injured. Although convenient from Shilshole marina, we will use another boat yard in the future.
Andy is completely rude and unprofessional at Seaview. Stay away!
“Marina Thugs”Seaview boat yard in Ballard Washington is the worst boat yard in the seattle area.Management is arrogant and lack common sense.Accounting is a total nightmare. Seaview does such a great job of overcharging customers that they must show a profit even when they lose money.Technicians are lazy and dont communicate well with the client.I had over 15k dollars worth of work done by Seaview. All work done was never done right the first time.Walk around shilshole bay marina where seaview is located and ask any boat owner what the general opinion is of Seaview boat yard. I did this after I got robbed by seaview and found that everyone I spoke to told me the same thing. “Stay away from Seaview” .Its sad that a buisness with such a great location is dishonest and offers such poor repair and maintenance work. I dont mind paying for good work and good service with easy acces at a marina but when a business is owned and operated by thugs, I have a problem paying. The port of seattle/marina is ran very well and everyone is friendly and honest, why they allow these crooks to continue doing business at the mariana is beyond me.
Amazing service and staff!
