Weve been in the Seattle Boat program for nearly a decade, and when the day finally came for us to buy our own boat, it was an easy choice. Great experience working with Jesse Mikolasy and Jan Rood. We would highly recommend!
What a standup company. Our salesman Jeff was great to work with. They really take the time to show you all the options and make you feel like part of the family. We couldn’t be happier with our purchase of a new Malibu VTX. I highly recommend Seattle Boat Company if you are in the market for a new or used boat or want to look into their boat share program. Thanks again Seattle Boat Company!
Everyone has been incredible at Seattle Co, however a special shout out to Brittany and Jesse and giving extra efforts to show true pride and care. My boat is taken care of better than I could do personally, which says alot! They treat your property as their own. Know when you partner with Seattle Boat Co, you are in the best of hands with this top notch crew. Look forward to seeing yall next season!
I’ve had nothing but good experiences with Seattle Boat and Sky Launch. Everyone is willing to help, the facilities are well kept, and they are very friendly.
ABSOLUTE PERFECTION!!!!! The team at Seattle Boat Company went out of their way to make sure my buying decision was nothing but perfect. We worked with Brian Johnson, sales, and he continued to work hard over the course of many months to get the family into the perfect boat, our 2019 Wakesetter 23 LSV. We took delivery on 8/7/19 and Tommy, the delivery agent, did a spectacular job orientating my kids and I to our new toy. Tommy truly loves what he does for SBC. The team at SBC provide an experience buying a boat that is not found in the industry today, ensuring they cover all aspects even before you know you need it taken care of. Even Jan in the finance department drove to meet me due to a conflict i had in order to ensure the boat closed on the day i wanted, again, amazing service. This is my 4th comp boat and 3rd Malibu however first purchase with Seattle Boat Company and we will never shop anywhere else again. We have already put 15 hours on the boat in one week and look forward to many many more over the rest of this summer and future.
Great people, takes the time to explain services and answer any questions!!
Seattle boat takes great care of my 2010 Regal 2560 and the team is excellent. Brittany takes care of every detail from start to finish. Highly recommended!JF
As always, my experience with Seattle Boat exceeded my expectations. I will continue to go to Seattle Boat for all of my boating needs. Thank you guys for providing such a great experience for my family and I.
Since I purchased my boat this summer the entire Service/Marina Crew have been incredibly professional and willing to help with any issues I have had. It is a huge advantage to have service, storage and launching in one place handled by friendly, efficient people. I have recommended Seattle Boats Service Department to several of my friends who own boats based on my experience!
The customer service is out of this world. They take the same care with my 86 Malibu as with any new boat. They can do it all and they do it well.
This place is what makes living in Seattle, just that much better. After asking the better half for more than 5 years about getting a boat “for the family,” we stopped by Seattle Boat in June and after spending just a couple hours with the staff, she was more into getting a boat than I was. We bought a used boat that day. They serviced it from the start, it had low hours, and they were transparent about everything. There was no pressure. Now after a year and a half we couldn’t be happier. The people that work there seem to know everyone and truly care. From Joel in service, shout-out to Tommy for helping me to learn how to drive and fuel-up, to Tony and Cory who deal with me at the yard: I have a ritual where I bike down after work and the boat is already in the water and I spend sometimes up to 45 minutes “cleaning” it and detoxing from a long day in the office. Honestly, I just spray it with some wax and then relax before the family drives down and everyone there at the yard gets to make fun of me. This little moment of Zen is why I have already referred 2 of my friends who have bought boats from them. Love this place.
I have stored my boat at the Lake Union Sky Launch and had it serviced by Seattle Boat for the last several years. What a difference top notch service makes. When a repair is needed or if its simply time to winterize, you can sleep at night knowing your boat has been tended to by top notch mechanics. They get the job done right the 1st time every time. When you show up to have fun with your boat, you know its ready. When its frozen solid out, you know your boat was in fact winterized for real. No nasty surprises come springtime. All this on top of a very clean safe location matched up with friendly professional staff!
Seattle Boat Company provided excellent service for my father, Rick and my boat. Its good to know our boat is in the hands of people we can trust. Heck, we even like it when we visit them just to say hello!
We had a great experience with Seattle Boat Co. Our sales rep Brian was excellent! All of our questions were answered promptly and they were very patient during the entire process. A first class company that employs first class people. I would recommend anyone interested in a boat to visit Seattle Boat Co.
I would not own a boat if I did not have access to a facility like this. It is all about convenience and this could not be better. Absolutely everything we expected when we bought the boat. Easy access and when your are finished boating. You get to go home knowing your boat is put away safe and dry
Seattle boat company continually goes above and beyond to keep their customers satisfied. We purchase our boat from the bellevue location in 2016 and have had many happy boating seasons with an excellent boat, perfect for our family. But what prompted this particular review was the exceptional evening experience we had today. It was the first day boating of the season for our family this year and we stopped at Ivars for lunch. When we returned to our boat at the dock we had mechanical issues and after a 1/2 an hour of trouble shooting, I decided to walk from Ivars over to Seattle Boat Company to see if anyone had any ideas of what to do.A big shout out to Brian W. An exceptionally skilled mechanic and master of customer service!Brian didn’t hesitate to offer help to us. He grabbed his bag of tools, made the treck with me over to Ivars and was able to identify and solve the mechanical problem and had us back out on the water to enjoy our day!Thank You Seattle Boats company! And thank you Brian W.You guys saved our day!
What I love most about Seattle boat is the simple fact that I can trust them to take care of EVERYTHING without my involvement. The number of times Ive had other companies say but you never asked for (something extremely obvious) is insane. They are so proactive and I simply never worry about my boat. I drop it off. They service it. They store it, and in spring they put it in The water looking like brand new. Joel is so detail oriented and so extremely competent as well as his team. I switched 3 years ago and will never go anywhere else. Being a serious race car driver i know the value of of a solid pit crew. They are my pit crew. David
Seattle Boat and Brittany’s TEAM of Pro’s helped me regain my sanity and actually fall back in love with my needy and aging Cobalt. I must say I haven’t been anywhere in Seattle where I’ve received as high a level of customer service, great communicatations, and a level of PERSONAL customer care that was just amazing. That’s pretty rare these days.EVERYONE there (and I mean EVERYONE) was great in every way. That’s unusual and was frankly unexpected. I am really impressed (in all the good ways) with my experience there. Thank you Brittany. And thank you to all the other un-named people I met there who diagnosed and repaired problems, cleaned, buffed and doted on my old boat.Thank you Seattle Boat Company Service. You deserve the great ratings you receive. I’ll be back next Winter for my next Annual Service.
I just purchased a used cobalt and had Seattle Boat do a pre-inspection and then service it. What a piece of mind to have when buying a used boat after meeting the mechanic and Joel from service dept. they went over the inspection and explained what was needed and the boats prior service history. The guys went above and beyond to fix the little things and provide excellent service. Special thanks to Joel from service for his help.
Elizabeth is absolutely outstanding! She has genuine interest in serving her customers, listens effectively, tends to details, and is always responsive and accommodating. A total pro, Elizabeth knows her products, cares about doing things right and makes buying a boat an easy, seamless process.
I cannot express strongly enough how exceptionally SBC service is and has been. The entire team at Seattle location is the perfect example of customer service!!!From detailing, launch and recover services, sales, and especially the service, they are without a doubt the Bentley of boating!!I would whole heartily recommend Seattle Boat Company for your next boat purchase and or service!!
Updated: Read below to see what lead up to it.So yesterday I posted a negative review about Seattle Boat Company. It had to do with my experiences up to this point. I went in with a valid beef spoke with Joel and Tom about and Tom blew me away by simply saying, We are gonna see each other around these docks and I dont want to feel bad when we do. Im sorry for the misunderstanding and Im gonna go ahead and credit your full amount due.Totally exceeded my expectations and Im happy to say that they reearned by business with good old customer service.Shook hands like men and called it a day. Thanks Guys.Ive had several services done at Seattle Boat. I am a very generous reviewer most of the time and happily pay for quality when I receive value for my purchase. My problems with Seattle Boat started last year when I purchased a detail (very convenient because I dock my boat in Newport Yacht Basin) and I was told by the female receptionist to place the carpets in the boat as they would be included in the cleaning. When I came to look at the detail I didnt feel it was done particularly well and additionally the carpets werent cleaned at all. I brought this to Toms attention who told me they werent included and he would have a talk with her about making sure she stopped telling people that. Fine.I had a winterize and basic oil change done on my boat and was billed $1,200 dollars for this service it sounded high to me. I checked around and other places for the same service (including travel to my slip) would charge me $583 dollars for the same service. The labor rate at Seattle boat is double, but worse than that I felt that they padded their hours and additionally I felt that they charged 250% for parts that the other marinas do. Ill be taking my business elsewhere.
Excellent company to work with. From the effortless sales process to the first class service department, Seattle Boat Company is my recommendation for all your boating needs.Happy Customer
I was recently towed in by vessel assist to the Newport Fuel dock. I thought I might have run out of fuel. I was greeted by Corey who helped me tie up and was very helpful, after filling up with gas and then was still not able to turn over one of my engines due to no power, Corey offered to take a look and found that I had blown a breaker on the starboard engine. All was reset and I was up and running and on my way. Turned a stressful event into a positive experience. Very impressed by the service I received!
This place is the main reason I own a boat. As someone who moved to Seattle three years ago with merely just a dream of owning and operating a boat, I was very naïve and nervous. I did not know what I wanted (or what I should consider), what I could afford, what things cost. I basically knew nothing and was intimidated by brokers and showrooms because of my lack of expertise. I was afraid of being taken advantage of and coming off like an idiot who has no business being in a boat. I though I might be dismissed because of my budget. I visited a lot of brokers and dealers, but Elizabeth at Seattle Boat is the only one who made me relax and made the experience fun. Very little pressure, no judgement, and access to a ton of boating and boat knowledge via Elizabeth and the whole Seattle Boat staff. Honestly, the purchase and research was a great experience but where this team really shines is in their ownership and the community they create. They host several events each year, including caravan trips that provide a great way for newbies to learn and feel supported. They create a family that I am glad to be a part of. I know its a business, but they make it feel like its about my experience and of course BOATS.
Great folks! Upon entering their showroom on Lake Union I was greeted with a warm welcome and a professional salesman who answered my questions which really helped in making decisions. Take a side trip to Ivars Salmonhouse a few doors down!
Great experience, the team is focused on customer service and positive customer experience, and continue to be very professional, their entire staff/service/marina, go above and beyond. Great team and good service. We recommend Seattle Boat Company... Thank you all.
I loved this place! Never had a thought of buying a boat before, but Christine made me dreaming about it.Beautiful and affordable boats, guys!
Seattle Boat is amazing! The staff is always friendly and very helpful. Can’t say enough good things about Seattle Boat.
I purchased a Cobalt from Seattle Boat Co this summer and was amazed how professional yet personable they were. Their team is not pushy and provided lots of options and recommendations. I worked with Elizabeth McPhail and she was incredibly knowledgable, super friendly and helped me every step of the way. I highly recommend Seattle Boat Co and their entire staff!
I have purchased 3 different boats over the last 15 years from Seattle Boat Company and I have found everyone to be extremely professional from the sales and service teams. Keep up the great work!
My husband and I bought our boat from Elizabeth at Seattle Boat Company 2 years ago and keep our boat at Skylaunch. As first time buyers, there was a lot that we didnt know. Elizabeth and her team went above and beyond not only to answer our questions, but to discuss things we never would have thought of on our own. Our buying experience was well informed, relaxed, and not pushy at all. I strongly believe that Elizabeth helped us make the best choice for our needs (as opposed to upsetting like other companies approach). I would strongly recommend Seattle Boat Company (and Elizabeth) to anyone interesting in purchasing a boat. We have also been very pleased with the team caring for our boat at Skylaunch. The convenience and care is top notch!
Exceptional professionalism and communication experience. I can highly recommend Seattle Boat Company. Arnold Payne
Joel, Casey, JW and Brian were great to work with when getting my boat serviced. Joel is the service adviser who was thorough. Casey, is the yard master who helped me get help when the lights on my trailer didnt work. Brian and JW are the ones that helped me fixed a fuse in my truck, that caused one of the rear lights, not to work.JW and Brian spent extra time to figure out what was happening, and found that a fuse in the fuse box was out. They replaced it, and found the light to work again. THANK YOU for your added efforts
Work with Seattle Boat Company for the past three years for thier annual tailgate sales event. Great company and great people! Look foward to the show each year.
NEVER GO HERE. I went here for an oil change and tune-up. Not only did they charge for parts that cannot actually be put on my make of engine, but the engine came back running like crap. Two wires were left disconnected in the engine compartment. The radiator fluid was obviously not checked. The wrong oil was used. The outdrive oil was obviously not topped up. And the carb came back so rich the engine was stalling out after warming up. I managed to fix these problems myself but I was left wondering just what did these guys do for $1100+?1? I dont get the vibe they are dishonest, but they are definitely incompetent. Try a different shop...
I recently had service performed at SBC and Harrison is an outstanding Technician! His attention to detail, quality of work, and knowledge are why keep I going back to SBC for service. I highly recommend Harrison and SBC to my boating friends in the area!
Not impressed by this place. They upsell you on repairs like crazy. I felt ripped off every time I dealt with them, but unfortunately there are few good boat repair places around accessible from the water.
What a great event thank you Seattle boat! You guys are the best!
Kept my boat at the Lake Union Skylaunch, the crew there is very friendly and attentive. Always recommend!
ESCAPADE is a 1993 Cobalt 255 Condurre (Hull #002) that I bought new from Seattle Boat Co. in 1992. She is a salt-water boat that is used year-round: moored for nearly 20 years at Elliott Bay Marina, and for the last 6 years at Liberty Bay in Poulsbo Thats not an easy life for a boat, but those who know her will tell you that ESCAPADE looks and runs as new. That is largely due to the excellent, regular service I have received over the years at Seattle Boat Co.No one has ever serviced my boat other than Seattle Boat Co., and it is my opinion that the SBC Service Department has never been stronger than it is at present. During my annual service this year we discovered two significant issues that were unexpected, requiring replacement of the lower drive unit and the oil/water intercooler, respectively. Thats enough to throw anyone off Plan A, but in each case Joel Smith handled the added complications efficiently and expertly, and Harlan performed the repairs skillfully. Back in the water, ESCAPADE is running like a champ. Thank you Seattle Boat Company, and see you next year!
Great team - great service. Highly recommend.
Thanks for a great experience James - we live our boat!
Every Seattle Boat point of contact (Tony at the launch, Mikayla and Joel in service) is professional, customer oriented, and supportive. Our family is a fan of Seattle Boat.
Outstanding Service!
My first encounter with Lake Union SkyLaunch was at the Seattle Boat Show, January 2015. I was impressed from the very start. My plan was to purchase a boat and keep it at the SkyLaunch. At the time I didnt even know where I would purchase the boat from but I had already actively been shopping for one. It was then when I found out that Seattle Boat Company owns/operates the SkyLaunches in the area. It was suggested by Tony from SkyLaunch that I check out their website and inventory. I did just that and, because of Tonys suggestion as well as the wonderful experience with my salesperson Elizabeth, I was able to obtain a boat almost as soon as it became available. I had 4 other boat places claiming that they were searching for a boat for me but didnt even come close to the expertise and patience shown by Elizabeth. My experience every time I visit the SkyLaunch and the Seattle Boat Companys main location I am always impressed. Even when SkyLaunch is busy, ALL of the employees maintain their friendly smiles and service. Their friendly attitudes are passed along to the tenants as well and everyone ends up having a great time. I would never think of going anywhere else whether it be for shopping for another boat or looking for a place to store mine! Thanks for always making a great impression on me, my guests and everyone else who uses your SkyLaunch services and has a great buying experience!
Great experience, amazing people and their inventory of boats is impressive
Never a bad experience, everyone is friendly and very knowledgeable!
Im on my 3rd Malibu and have always loved the boats, however, Seattle Boats is now one of the only places that I can take my boat for warranty service. I had my boat winterized there this past year and when I took the boat out for the first time this spring the boat would not go into gear going forward. This is something they do while winterizing the boats but they didnt reconnect the wire to the engine after winterizing. What a fun experience to be stuck floating in the water with my 1 year old. When I called to inquire about the problem I was told that i shouldve brought the boat in for dewinterizing. Apparently thats when they would fix all the things they forgot to do during winterizing. My wedge is now not working and Ive called four times to see if its still under warranty and still havent received a call back. This is really disappointing because Ive been a loyal malibu owner for years and because of the warranty services that are available for them now Im thinking of making a switch.
Awesome people and great service
Such cool boats man.
Good things to eat
